Handy location as we were jumping on trains to explore area as well as being close to everything on foot in Cannes. Room was very clean and cleaned each day of our stay. It's ideal if you are out and about & just need a nice room for a siesta and nights sleep. There was a kitchenette in our room which was an unexpected bonus. Great boloungerie just around corner with huge choice of delicious, reasonably priced goods. If you want to shop designer goods you are literally just around the corner from streets of stores. Beach and Bars & Restaurants all in close walking range.

It was noisy at night and early morning which is just down to location as it's above bars and a busy street below which is frequently used for people crossing from train/bus station proceeding into Cannes. But we slept well on our comfortable beds and were tired from enjoying busy days out.

Nice and compact hotel. About 10 minutes walking diatance till main streets. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. The interior of the hotel is eye catching. The room was on the top floor. No elevator. Comfortable bed, towels, shampoo, hair dryer, air-conditioning, small coffee machine, Wi-Fi, TV. Shower and wc in the room. We also had a small terrace on which it was great to have a packed breakfast.

The only negative thing, due to the compactness of the room, the sliding door between the showerroom/wc and the bed was almost useless.

This is our second stay at Hotel l'hotera, and once again, we're super happy with our choice. For the price and location, it can not be beaten. I recommend paying the extra for a large double room. The French balcony provides fresh air and a beautiful view of the cafes and bars along the street below. We'll definitely return.

Room is simple, but with recent modern updates with many nice touches that make it special and comfortable. A microwave in a small kitchen area is great. They offer discount vouches for parking. Breakfast voucher for the cafe across the street, but as the host explains the breakfast is not large.

This is a fantastic budget option for Cannes. Better than some 3/4 star hotels! Truly you are in a perfect area - so close to station - literally 30seconds - AND 2/3 mins walk to the beach. The cool restaurant vibe is literally round the corner. You have everything on your fingertips. The room was spacious. Nice balconies too. we had 2! Comfy bed. Not too firm, but not soft. I LOVE coffee and the Coffee pods almost like a proper barista coffee. Win! :) I'm a light sleeper so usually I look for reviews about street noise... Well, we were on the street side, and I barely heard a thing... Magical. Rainfall shower powerful and hot! Yes! There are steps for those not easy on their feet, so do note that.. But nothing more than a usual house staircase. Honestly everyone, it's a GEM! You will be so glad you booked it. Especially if you are planning to be out IN beautiful Cannes and not in your hotel room!

We stayed 3 nights in room nr 23 on the second floor with a french balcony opening to the backyard. Very calm and quite. The room is small (as shown in pictures on the website) but absolutly ok, with a kitchenette and a comfortable bathroom with a door and window. The hallway and the stairs are very nice, very clean, very quite, as newly refurbished. All the staff very friendly, very effective, respect to the cleaning staff doing an amasing job! We made our booking 1-2 days before check-in and got the last room available. Next time we will ask for room nr 14 on the first floor wich also is to the back of the hotel. Spacious, light and airy, beautiful! Highly rekommend this hotel!

Would have appreciated a few more utensils in the kitchenette and possibility to wash the dishes on your own.

The hotel is virtually opposite the station and only a quick walk down to the sea. The room was a bit basic but very good value in a very expensive place. The gentleman on reception was very helpful, everywhere was very clean and although the bathroom was a bit compact everything worked and water was hot. The bed was a good size and very comfortable. Even in the middle of town it was quiet at night and we slept well.

Sylvio was so lovely and welcoming. The room was basic, clean, and provided the right amenities. Location was perfect. Close to 0 issues with this stay and I would 100% come here again! It also felt very safe despite being quite central.

There perhaps could've been some more separation between the bedroom and bathroom. It was only separated by a sliding door, but still had gaps either side of the door so didn't feel very private.

Small kitchenette was very useful and appreciated. Good air conditioning. Cute small balcony Good location with places to eat very close..close to the station and short walk to main beaches. Friendly staff on checkin. Discounted parking available close by. Very good instructions and prompt response to booking.com enquiries were appreciated to help navigate the craziness of Cannes.

It wasn't the Carlton but for the money it was great.

This hotel is incredible !! I loved my stay here. Not only is it affordable, but also extremely modern and comfortable - a very well-established place ! The staff were both friendly and welcoming, and the rooms are even better in person. I’m so glad I came across this hotel and decided to stay here ! I loved Cannes and Hotel l’Hotera made my experience even more incredible. Definitely stay here when visiting Cannes - perfect for any kind of traveller !! 🥰🤩
