Property owner was very cordial and welcoming. Property was clean and beds were comfortable. There was a covered car park provided for us. We had a dog and he could have a free run within the boundary - which he loved.

The nearest restaurant is 10 mins drive away. There is nothing close to the property and the property is a bit dated. Breakfast was also ok but the choices were limited. We were offered a SINGLE boiled egg or NO egg or meat. There is no choice offered in the breakfast.

Madame Poli, the hostess, is welcoming and always available. The village is very peaceful. The garden is well tended. Breakfast was lovely. The availability of a refrigerator was a bonus for storing fresh cheese bought locally. A covered and secured parking space was appreciated.

Mrs Poli was the most amazing host. The rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable beds indeed!! Very helpful on where to eat when we got there after a long journey. We were brought cold drinks up to our room on arrival. Beautiful garden all very well kept. Breakfast was delicious everything local, breads, cheese, pastry’s and a wonderful drinks machine. I wish we had longer to stay, but we will Be back for sure and recommend to our friends. You won’t be disappointed with any aspects of your stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Clos Poli. Our host Lydie was great throughout, always available and friendly but never overbearing and the room was superb, very well furnished and very clean. Bathroom was superb. The location is so quiet and surrounded by lovely countryside, pretty quiet roads, small villages, wide open space and big skies. We spent two days out and about cycling and loved it. Beakfast was excellent, of a great standard and such a nice touch to be asked for preferences on arrival. Great home made jams! Parking easy and more than adequate...we were in a van which fitted with room still available for two more cars. All in all, a fantastic stopover for a couple of days before we headed home.

There is nothing to dislike about Mdme Poli and the accommodation, it's just the best. The only minor issue is the fact that the villages (including the nearest, Auxon) are so quiet means getting dinner in the evening necessitates travelling. The local Intermarche is new and very well stocked and you are welcome to use the house facilities which we did on the first night. Our weather was sunny and warm so we actually cycled up to the recommended Au Puisotin 8km away but I guess that's not for everyone! Lydie did run another couple up herself when we were there but one idea might be to have a local driver handy to do it? This didn't really impact us but some may find it a hindrance.

A rural idyll with spacious suite incorporating large bedroom and bathroom and children’s area. Very comfortable bed and friendly host - nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful setting in small village - ideal for a countryside walk after dinner.

A 15 minute drive from amenities so eat lunch or dinner before you go.

We stayed here as a stop over on the way to the south. The property is gorgeous with a nice enclosed garden which was perfect for our 2 dogs. Everywhere was immaculately clean and our room had an en-suite which was also great. Nice comfy beds, a tv in the room, selection of tea/coffee and Lydie had specifically laid the spare beds so the dogs had somewhere to sleep if we wanted. Our dogs were made to feel welcome and at home the entire time. The breakfast is lovely with home made jams/croissants and fresh bread. Would 100% recommend coming here! Thank you Lydie

Nothing - everything was perfect

The breakfast was superb. The owner herself went over the details herself the night before. It was truly excellent. Also the host called me before and inquired about arrival times. She also pointed me to a excellent restaurant 7 minutes drive away. It was all very comfy and clean. A group of artists was going to come in late at night and she made sure they would not wake me up.

A food truck parks close by each evening. We pre-ordered from the menu in our room and it was delivered to us. Good grub, very convenient, as was the Maconnais red wine provided by our host!
