Loved this place! It feels like an institution - absolutely filled with people for lunch every day. The jacuzzi was a nice bonus. Room was simple and clean with a big window (lots of fresh air). They even let me store my touring bicycle inside. The managers are big sweethearts. Location was close enough to all the best parts of town and even had a sizeable grocery store just around the corner. Super close to train station as well.

First of all I would like to thank to the lady in the reception. She was very kind and she greeted me with a smile on her face. The room was small but very clean, which I expect from an accommodation from the first place. The location was very convenient. You can reach on foot to the hotel just in minutes from the train station. There are restaurants and markets around. The surrounding was also quite and I had a peaceful stay.

There is no lift. It wasn't a problem for me but can be difficult for some people.

Lovely old town location and ambiance. So close to walk to the centre.

It was a heatwave and we were located on the top floor which meant the heat went up. There was no air conditioning- just fans which meant we hot all night. In any other situation it would habe been perfect

This place is amazing, very quirky and was a lot better than I was expecting for the price. The area is a bit less desirable, but if you can look past that, inside the hotel was a great surprise. The jacuzzi and the small garden is a big bonus. The location is only 15 minute walk to all the good stuff too. I will be back!

Welcoming, lively atmosphere, thanks to brilliant staff. The relatively recent re-vamp under new management has retained something of its old world charm, while updating the facilities. The bar/breakfast area is fabulous, and very popular with locals. Very good value, if basic accommodation.

The bathroom had no window or ventilation, and the bath panel was loose.

Beautiful and quirky hotel, with a vintage style, very pleasant and well located. Staff very friendly. Great location. Jaccuzzi is a huge bonus in the summer!

Few options for breakfast, especially fir vegetarian and vegans.

I barely stayed for 12 hours in the hotel since I had to leave and couldn't try the breakfast, bar and jacuzzi services, but the reception lady was very friendly and welcoming. She even took care of leaving my luggage after checking out to take it in the evening before my train. The room had a beautiful view of the street and a bit of the surroundings. I liked the fact that we had all the cooling and heating options, and a big comforting bed. I also loved the reception and waiting saloon's decoration. Very vintage and lovely to see especially at night with all the lights that the hotel has placed all around. Also, the hotel is in a perfect spot, close to the train station and to the most touristic place Place de Jaude with all the cool shops and restaurants in it. Thanks to the location of the hotel, I was able to have a great on-foot tour of around 7 hours at night and during the day which allowed me to see the beautiful streets and zones in this part of Clermont-Ferrand.

The bathroom was clean but I unfortunately had an unpleasant encounter (which is normal during this period of time), but I think that the ventilation hole above the shower should be cleaned to avoid having such unpleasant encounters. As for the WiFi, I had a hard time using it because the network was very poor in my room. Otherwise, everything is great!

The spa facilities were the perfect relaxation after a long trip. The water was perfect from temperature. Our room was what we expected and dark which is good to sleep.

The room was very hot. There was no airco so no possibility to cool off. There was a fan that we used but it is not the same as airco. We also found the neighborhood not ideal. I didn't feel comfortable walking down the street.

Very traditional French 2-star, immediate neighbourhood not appealing but a bare ten mins from central Clermont. Staff were helpful and traditional decor and ambience were appealing. Good breakfast in the bar area. Small and clean shared jacuzzi in the courtyard

Great location, mid way between the station and the centre of town. Definitely an old building, but cheerful enough. Rooms a good size, beds were incredibly comfortable. A little over warm at night, but fans were provided or you can open a window. We had a late check in but instructions provided were very thorough.

The plus breakfast option is not worth it. Extremely limited selection for far too much. You're better off going to a nearby cafe etc.
