This hotel suited us very well for a one night stop en route to Burgundy. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We travelled with our 9 year old granddaughter and shared a 3 bed room which was very clean and tidy. The hotel is in the commercial area and caters especially for those working or visiting there. We did not have time to explore all that was on offer. The meals (dinner and breakfast) were good quality and offered good value for money both from the extensive buffet or by order.

The auberge is without pretension and does what it does very well. A lift to the 4th floor would have been appreciated! We would happily stay there again.

This was a great wee stopover on my further into France on my motorbike tour. It is a wee bit isolated in terms of it's location essentially being in an industrial area outside of town but the car park was great for the motorbike and the hosts welcomed me with a refereshing glass of beer which was very well received as it had been a particularily hot days ride.

The main issue was purely down to language barriers. There was a menu on a blackboard for the food which I found it hard to decipher (even with Google Translate) but the hosts along one of the other residents who spoke a little English ensured I got there in the end with my dinner choice!!. My fault really for not knowing a bit more about the French language I suppose. Dinner I think seemed to be a mix between ordering off the blackboard along with buffet items. i would prefer just a menu that I can order from as I am not keen on buffet style food purely for hygiene reasons.

The staff were so delightful and accommodating. The champagne was delicious The breakfast spread was excellent, even having gluten free and dairy free options available to hand

It is right next to the motorway and depending on the side of the building you are in when the weather is warm and the windows are open… if you are not used to the sound of traffic nearby you could find the traffic noise disturbing at night/early in the morning. The large family room we stayed in was under the roof and faced away from the motorway yet had full sun all afternoon and evening and would I imagine get quite hot in summer. It was already rather warm in May.

Comfortable, clean and warm. The room was basic but was more than adequate for an overnight. We also had dinner, which was a buffet for starter, cheese course and sweet with a choice of dishes for main course. It was good quality and great value for money. The standout for the accommodation was the staff, all were friendly, welcoming and attentive without being intrusive, we have rarely found this in stopover hotels in France and this made this hotel stand out as one to go back to.

It's a bit difficult to find because it's in the back of the industrial/shopping area but once you're there, there's plenty of parking. The food is lovely. Breakfast and dinner are both plentiful and there's a good range of dishes. The prices are very reasonable and there's outside space to dine and sit, as well as in the dining room. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. We had a lovely time and we will be returning.

The beds are quite hard and the rooms aren't the biggest but at the price we paid, it was amazing.

A bit tricky to find, hidden in a commercial centre - but I knew this, as I’d stayed here several times before.

In general the food was very good. I think I was unlucky….. four of us chose the pièce de boeuf…. I was the only one to receive a tough price! Everyone else’s was tender. Should have complained, but I didn’t. Had eaten over half before we realised mine was different.

We used as a stopover after travelling from the UK by car, so was an ideal location for this. Close to Epernay which is a beautiful town to visit. Parking on site and close to a petrol station.

No lift. Bar / restaurant closed quite early. Room was very hot, but it was 30+ degrees at the time of our visit. All beds very close together.

We have stayed here often on way north to Chunnel which is 3 hours away. It is dog friendly. Now under new management as Didier has retired. Christelle was very welcoming and made sure everything was good for us. Dinner was excellent with the steak so tender. I am happy to recommend this hotel for an overnight stop which is excellent value. We will be back.

It’s location is in a commercial estate but that should not put you off. There is a park close by for dog walking.

Dinner was an extraordinary "country" buffet with a great selection of starters, cheeses and deserts. There was a selection of hot main courses. It was all good quality and for 27.50 great value. Breakfast was also good. Checking in was fast . Checking out was fast too. The room was comfortable.

It was a perfect stop half way journey to Lake Como.

It was close to Epernay and great for overnight stay. Love having restaurant on sight and bar after a long day of driving. Breakfast was great

No air con (which I knew) but the first room given was on top floor and like oven so was given opportunity to have a smaller room lower floor which was cooler. There was a fan in this room also
