It was an ideal overnight stay en route from Burgundy to Calais and the ferry to the UK. Located ideally in a quiet area of Epernay the hotel provided the ideal location for an overnight stay with easy access to the town centre and restaurants. It is likely that we will use it agian.

The room was a little small and the bathroom area somewhat cramped, but for an overnight stay it was perfectly adequate.

Good value for money! It was simple but nice, and somehow very honest place where actually everything you need was there. Including traditional French breakfast, good coffee and charming old-school bar. In Epernay, where everything is rather pricey.. it was ca 1 km away from Avenue the Champagne which is really not a big deal. Plus, free parking in premises.

Our room was facing the street - most rooms are I guess. Just before where the hotel is, is also a traffic light, which means cars stop there, and then start to move again. It´s noisy, and traffic light works also at night. In September, there were also a lot of harvest-related traffic(big trucks).

What a lovely find. I stopped over for one night in Épernay on my way to the Loire region. I found this hotel and selected it for it's simple charm, easy access and off street free parking behind the Hotel. During my journey I had some delay on the road and messaged the owner. That I would be an 1 to 2 hours later. The hotel has a nice vintage style French bar as well and the owners welcomed me there. The room was fresh clean and bright. The location is just on the outer side of the small town of Éparney, you can easily walk to the Centre to visit it during the day and/or a for bite to eat in the evening. But there are also a few options nearby (such as a pizza place I had breakfast at the hotel the next morning. Really good and a lot! Owners are so nice, I will definitely visit again!

Stayed for 1 night for the La Champenoise de la vallée de la Marne. The owner allowed me to check in at 10am which is perfect. I got time to freshen up before the run. The room is clean and cozy. Location is close to the train station. This is highly recommended. Great value for money.

The hotel is located on a main street and there is a traffic light outside. It can be seen be a bit noisy with vehicles taking off from the light, especially as most of the rooms face the road.

The hotel owner was exceptionally helpful to me after injuring myself during my pilgrims' walk. Kindness and care for guests is the hallmark of an excellent establishment. The rooms and facilities were clean and the breakfast was sufficient.

If one is inclined to complain and find fault, then there is always something to nitpick. One can not complain where one encounters kindness.

Very good and budget hotel with convenient location (in 15 minutes of walk to the town centre). The owner is very friendly and helpful, advised us some really good vineyards which worse visiting

Lots of original, beautiful features: marble floor and skirtings; beautiful views out the tall elegant windows; really friendly, helpful staff and a great central location.

Value for money and great location.

The room was nice and the owners are very kind , professional and friendly. I asked them in advance for a hairdryer and an iron and they were quick to respond and assist . I extended my stay as it felt like home ! I definitely recommend them 100% and I will be back !

Quiet and covenient location just a few minutes walk from Avenue de Champagne. For sure I will come back and tell my friends about my great experience.
