With a friendly greeting, we were helped into a large, airy, garden room with our luggage in this well preserved old stone building. A better parking location than our chosen spot was indicated, well off-road. Thus, a wonderful start to our visit to this chambre d'hotes! We later discovered our hosts were particularly hospitable with a penchant for wine/food/cooking. Also, at breakfast the very tasty homemade yoghurts & confiture/jams were offered. Our dining experience had been a treat! The facilities are good with the large, thick towels enhancing our showering experience. It was a most enjoyable stay.

The character of the house was very good. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Secure parking and air conditioning were a godsend.

Shelves above the bed made it difficult to sit up on the bed. At this time of year there were a lot of mosquitoes and we got quite bitten outside and downstairs. The hosts had done what they could with plug in repellents but it is something to be aware of if you choose to stay - which we would certainly do again. Car is needed as located away from main tourist areas.

A quirky treasure of a property, filled with antiques and vintage articles. Hervé and Marylou have a love filled home and they ooze passion for their property. It was a pleasure to stay here and celebrate a birthday, where the fun-filled couple sang, presented cards and presented us kindly with a bottle of wine. We were shown through the whole property and enjoyed seeing all of the original features. We would have no hesitation in recommending a stay here.

Everything was fantastic. A lovely rural setting so a car is definitely essential.

Loved the room we had - spacious, well appointed, Really appreciated the helpfulness of the owners booking an evening meal for us and providing elements of breakfast to allow a really early departure. A place to return to if we have the opportunity

It all worked fine for us

Absolutely outstanding hosts, a beautiful home and we were made to feel so welcome. The hosts cooked us an incredible 3 course meal for just €23.00 each and the breakfast is superb. If you love charm, character and are seeking something a bit special then hurry up and book your room before you miss the boat. This was our 10th night on a tour through Spain and France and by far the best accommodation so far. 👌

Nothing it is Flawless

Very good breakfast. Good coffee, fresh baguette, butter, home-made jams (wow! never ate a better apricot jam) and crepe, orange juice. Terrific dining/breakfast room. And the pleasant company by hosts.

Nothing really. Maybe a French cheese as icing on the cake. Just a suggestion.

Owners were exceptional hosts. Helpful and gracious. Great location to visit St Emilion, Pomerol, Bordeaux. Very Clean, and comfortable and lovely eclectic decor..Breakfast was delicious as were the evening meals and wine that we purchased from proprietors. They even recognized my birthday with flowers in our room and dessert with Happy Birthday greeting.. French speaking with ability to translate with free wifi and translation app. One of us were able to translate so made it easier. Highly recommend.

A very warm welcome by Marie and Herve. The room was beautiful, the facilities were excellent with a lovely garden and swimming pool. Some fantastic artefacts around the house it is stunning. A real gem of a place.

Nothing could have been better it exceeded our expectations.

What a joy to find the most beautiful Guest House . It was literally the most stunning house , packed with character, beautifully decorated. The bedroom was simply gorgeous. it has a salon , kitchen , mini bar the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Breakfast was absolutely tasty. The owners are incredibly kind. Sadly both the owner and ourselves suffered as a result of the most terrible storm with huge hail stones and out cars were damaged. But the proprietor helped me with pictures and booking form to claim . I hope their car gets repaired soon. We loved this place and next time we will get their early enough to use the pool. Thank you so much for your hospitality

The hosts were absolutely fantastic. They simply couldn’t do enough for us. The breakfast with the fresh crepes were excellent and the opportunity to take a dip in the pool at the beginning of a warm day was so pleasant.
