Amazing and very helpful staff.. Alexandre was really helpful giving us info on restaurants etc in La Rochelle.. I must also mention Camille... She went above and beyond her position to help us in all departments.. She even arranged for a vet to come to the hotel to administer some tablets to our dog.. nothing was too much trouble for her..she and all the staff made our stay very comfortable.. Bravo 👏 👏 👏..to all the staff..Will definitely be returning to this hotel in the future..highly recommended 👍 👌

Fantastic location next to the old port, beautiful hotel, spacious suite, good breakfast and best coffee in the whole of La Rochelle. Very pleasant and helpful staff.

We didn't mind but the suite was a few floors up and no elevator ( although they did offer to carry our luggage). This might be a problem for some though and it wasn't known on booking that there was no elevator in this part of the hotel. There is an elevator in the other part of the hotel so best to confirm regarding the elevator if this would present a problem for you.

The hotel is very close to the centre and the seafront. The hotel staff are exceptional. The reception team are friendly and very helpful. Throughout the hotel, the staff are friendly, greeting you and ready to help make your stay good. Breakfast is superb. Excellent choice and delicious bread and pastries. We were there for a special birthday with another couple who were surprise guests. The reception staff were briefed about the surprise and played their part really well, making no mention of the others at check in but putting us next door to each other. Our hotel room m was lovely and well equipped. Very quiet.

Parking is tricky. But the reception team come out in all weathers to guide you in. It was freezing and blowing a gale when we arrived but the woman who came out was cheerful and patient!

Excellent location. Secure parking. Friendly reception staff. Comfortable, clean and well equipped bedroom/bathroom, Quiet, Good breakfast. Very helpful manager with a sense of humour when we locked ourselves out of the in-room safe due to jamming too much into it - twice!

Different price per night. We stayed Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights and the cost was progressively more each night. It is rather expensive for what it offers even on the cheaper night. But - this is only a minor irritation as the rest of the stay was very good.

Superb location and private car park. The hotel is lovely and the staff were really helpful. My only comment would be that there could be healthier options for breakfast - muesli, granola without chocolate (really!). Visitors should note that there is not restaurant at the hotel but the breakfast is good (apart from comments above) and there is no shortage of places to eat within easy walking distance of the hotel. Definitely recommend and would definitely return

Modern, comfortable and clean rooms

Breakfast is not worth the money they charge- plenty of sweet pastries and biscuits, no hot food offerings, the breakfast room was dark and uninviting . We were told we ‘had to be extremely lucky’ to find free parking in the side street. As it happened it wasn’t any problem to find parking slots there at all. The spa access should included in the room price. On the way back we decided to stay at a different hotel in lovely La Rochelle , which was far superior for the same money.

We stayed for 5 days to visit La Rochelle and Île de Ré. The location of the hotel is perfectly located to visit the old town but also for the morning walks with the dog in the park. Also super friendly staff, clean rooms and a good breakfast. Parking is a bit tight but the hotel staff helps to guide while parking. There was a separate space to put our bikes and there are car charging stations. Recommended.

The location of the hotel is excellent. The room was clean and the aircon was cold. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful. My only comment is that if you wanted to use the car park you needed to email in advance. Maybe this could be made clearer when customers book. When we arrived we were too late and the hotel car park was full. It wasn’t the need of the world as there is a public car park nearby (2 mins walk) which cost us < €6 for the night.

Breakfast is simple but nice. Staff are very friendly and polite. Perfect location close to restaurants.

Parking is outdoors and super small it has space for 5 cars and you have to book. We couldn’t park there since there were other reservations before us made. So we went to an underground parking nearby 10 min walking distance. There is another one open air closer to the hotel 5 min walk. If you stay in the extended new part of the hotel there is no elevator so be careful if you have a lot of luggage it can be a pain. One of the girls at reception was super kind and helped us with the luggage until the room.

We requested a room near to lift due to mobility issues and were given a wonderful room with extra large bathroom and shower. The room was fantastic. The hotel location was superb. Only a minutes walk from the restaurants and cafes and the historic sights. The staff went above and beyond expectations with particular thanks to Caroline who welcomed us to the hotel and assisted us with getting into the car park. And Alexandra who couldn’t do enough for us and even parked and charged my EV for me. He also recommended some restaurants which were superb. We will visit again.
