- Breakfast was incredible, really good, so much variety and plenty of it. - The hotel is located in the middle of a lovely green space and within walking distance of the beautiful town - Plenty of parking spaces - Good air conditioning - The staff are all lovely - There’s a really great swimming pool with seating around it

- Our room was fine but the bathroom was right next to the bed, with the toilet a separate room altogether. I wasn’t keen on this. - The long flush on the toilet was broken. You could get a long flush on the short one by pressing and holding but I didn’t discover this until we were about to leave - The bedside ‘tables’ are tiny and a bit useless

The hotel is in very quite location, 10-15 min walk from the city center with part around. the room was good and quite although a little small for the family with 4 people. There is free parking onsite. Breakfast was good, although I would expect more hot options for breakfast and some fish option. We liked restaurant menu for dinner, hotel has kids room with some machines to play the games. there was kettle in the room to make tea also there is drinking water dispencer on every floor. we stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed it.

We stayed for an overnight trip, and the check-in process was straightforward. However, as French learners, we found the receptionist spoke a bit too quickly, which made it difficult for us to understand. She seemed slightly annoyed by our confusion, which was a bit off-putting. The location was great—just a short walk to the park that leads to the marina and a variety of restaurants. We also took a scenic drive to explore some nearby beaches, which gave us a nice feel for the area. In the evening, feeling tired, we decided to have dinner at the hotel restaurant. We enjoyed a lovely bottle of Chablis followed by a delicious steak served with smashed potatoes. The portion was on the smaller side, and we felt it could have been complemented by a salad or some vegetables, but the steak itself was excellent. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

Beautiful hotel set by a beautiful park, short walk to centre. Very easy parking on site. Plenty of spaces. Hotel easy to find (used Waze sat nav which took us straight there.) Staff were very professional and friendly. Didn’t eat in restaurant but food on menu seemed reasonably priced and a good hearty choice. Would definitely stay again… and eat there next time.

A charming hotel is just a ten-minute leisurely walk from the old town. Great secure parking, lots of spaces. The night scene in the old town is truly enchanting and delightful. We had a wonderful evening meal that offered excellent value. Nice beds, nice linens and qaulity pillows.

Nothing about the hotel. If driving in, plan your route carefully. My old car satnav could not cope, sent us round in circles! But google maps saved the day.

We stayed one night to explore La Rochelle, the pool was lovely - small but refreshing, service was good and lunch and drinks nice, hotel prices but still good quality. The room for the four of us was a squeeze, it was not very up to date but was clean and fine for one night. The town is a good 15 minute walk with kids and the whole area mostly pedestrianised with lovely parks with animals just round the corner. Bring a pram or be prepared to walk lots.

I found it difficult to navigate the town from the hotel with young children and taxis' are not really used here. It would be great if the hotel had prams or buggys available to rent/loan or a small shuttle service into the central square.

Fantastic location. Easy to find, plenty of parking inside gates. Easy to walk into the old town. Peaceful location of hotel and a quiet room. Breakfast had a great choice.

Bathroom drains smelt a little and were slow to drain. Grout ready to be replaced.

The location was excellent, close to the old port, the lovely ‘green spaces’, and the town. It was clean, quite comfortable, had a pool (we arrived on the hottest day of the year), parking. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a table and two chairs (many hotels only provide one chair). There was a kettle and mini fridge and we liked that the toilet was separate from the bathroom.

The bed was very wide fortunately as at either side it felt like that there was a hole (where people were sitting). The USB socket on one side of the bed wasn’t working and the side tables were tiny. The bed was placed very close to the bathroom doors and there was a lot of room on the other side of the bed. The breakfast, although very good, seemed pricey.

The hotel was a welcome change from the IBIS hotels we had stayed at on this trip. It was more expensive but it was worth it. The hotel has free parking which was great, a lovely pool. Nice bar and restaurant. Water fountains throughout so you can refill your water bottle. The room was comfy and extra pillows were so welcome after 2 weeks of single pillows. Fold out couch bed for kids was very comfy. Nice linen and towels and the rituals shower gel etc were lovely (but watered down and the shower gel was empty). The restaurant was nice but too expensive. The wine was €10 per glass which in france is far too much. Massive thank you to the staff who helped us when we left our passports in the safe. Especially William who helped us find a solution. Also great kids gaming room. Spotless hotel. La rochelle town is nearby and gorgeous

My main gripe was the price of food and drink. Breakfast was too expensive for what it was. Although that said kids eat for free so perhaps i am being a little harsh. The dinner we had was ok..... the child's meal was good value and nice to see a bowl of pasta as an option. The drink was expensive and my €30 for 3 glasses of wine over the evening really annoyed me to the point it made us not eat or drink in the hotel again. Also the glass outside needs to be cleaned as it looks a bit shabby when the hotel is actually lovely inside.

Location in the park setting very pleasant. Easy walk to old town and port. Car park good. Large window sill very useful. The hotel offered dinner which was handy obviating the need to have to go out to find an evening meal especially after a long drive.

Room size generous but relatively poorly designed given its size. WC and bathroom separate - configuration just didn't work. WC was far too small and bathroom double doors opened tight onto bed. Bed at 8ft width was bigger than needed given its location to the bathroom. Room could have done with one more easy chair. Fire alarm went off owing to a technical fault - staff were perplexed and didn't handle it too well.
