Everybody was very friendly and welcoming. The room was very nice and breakfast on the terrace was personally prepared each morning - a lovely start to the day. This is a Bed & Breakfast property, so we were conscious that we were staying in somebody's house, but it was very spacious and provided an excellent base for our trip to La Rochelle. We would be very happy to choose this accommodation again if we should ever return to the area.

Great location next to a beautiful park and a short walk to the old town and beaches, perfect for walking or cycling. The host gave us such useful advice about the city and our onward travel, very welcoming. Lovely room beautifully- furnished and a great breakfast. We were givenbikes to get around the local area and cycle to the beaches out of the city. Highly recommend stay

Always a pleasure to stay here. Everything is excellent. The breakfast is particularly good. The host, Fernanda, is extremely helpful: she spent a lot of time helping us to sort out our travel arrangements. And the free cycles are an added bonus. I recommend Villa Verde.

We had 2 rooms, one a very comfortable double room and the other a very spacious comfortable family room. Both rooms equipped with kettle and coffee machine and option to buy some snacks… a lovely touch. Hostess is most helpful, friendly and hospitable. We also enjoyed the comfort of a very tastefully decorated bright breakfast room and lounge and of course a delicious breakfast. I look forward to returning to this comfortable gem in La Rochelle.

The beautiful, spacious family room has a mini room off it with a single bed… unfortunately this side room doesn’t have a window.

Such lovely hosts letting us into the property earlier and giving us a key so we could come back after check out to collect bags and use facilities. Fabulous room fabulous breakfast and in such a lovely old building with a great balcony from the dining area which guests could use, really close to centre and park with bus stop for bus to airport right outside. It couldn’t have been a better place to stay

Lovely place and convenient location, a few minutes from center town, historical location and lovely beach. Pleasant owner and staff. Delicious made with love breakfast. As an extra bonus cozy garden and barbecue area available at the hotel.

A beautifully renovated art deco house (the staircase in particular is exceptional) just outside the historic centre of La Rochelle. Fernanda was very welcoming and friendly and was quick to offer suggestions & tips for things to do and places to see. The breakfast portions were excellent (sweet or savoury options - we got one of each and shared) and the terrace/garden area was very calm. It's a short walk to both the historic centre and the beach, which was very convenient for us. We would happily stay there again if the opportunity arose to go back to La Rochelle.
