From our welcome with valet car parking and a welcome glass of champagne all the staff were excellent, attentive and always on hand to help. Breakfast was excellent choice even though it was scored down due to two items. Yoan, the restaurant manager provided exceptional service with attention to detail. Bedroom was a good size and very well equipped. We had the tasting menu in the Arco restaurant. This again we would highly recommend.

Some breakfast crockery was chipped or cracked. Buffet breakfast items not restocked very quickly. For a 5* hotel, bar drinks were not available until 3pm in the afternoon and certain drinks were unavailable at times during our stay. Limited food options at lunchtime.

Possibly one of the best hotels in La Rochelle in a perfect location minutes away from the shops and restaurants. We chose this hotel for the location as well as the secure valet parking. Our valet driver (Aiden) was excellent, he loves and respects cars and carefully stores your car in the secure garage beneath the hotel. He made our trip special, thank you! We originally booked a deluxe room but were happily upgraded; the bed was super comfortable! The room was spacious and had great views of the town. The bar staff in reception were also really good; they made great cocktails which you can enjoy whilst playing one of the numerous board games located at any of the tables. We opted for chess each time! We will be back!

The hotel is located in a beautiful courtyard, the landscaping is beautiful and right from the energy walk in from the street. It’s very inviting. The interior of the hotel is fabulous. I stayed here for three nights with my mom to celebrate her birthday, the staff made her feel very special. They were extremely helpful and always very attentive. Special call out to Laurce (spelled wrong I think ) on reception and James who we met one evening., both were extremely helpful, friendly and courteous. All recommendations that we got for restaurants, things to do and places to go see or spot on could not fault anything about my overall trip.

Raphael greeted us by attending to our car. He later gave us many tips and places to see and to eat. He was so very nice. Tiffany treated us to an upgrade which was so very kind of her. We were greeted with her friendly smile and warm welcoming followed with a glass of champagne. Such a pleasant entrance to our stay! The room was absolutely gorgeous. An entire area dedicated to coffee, hot chocolate, and a fridge with drinks, etc. The main room had a table, sofa, chairs, end table - all was comfortable and spacious. The bedroom was large! A king bed (super comfortable), end tables, a huge closet with robes and slippers. The bathroom off the room was also large! Nice lighting, mirrors, sink and wonderful shower.

We absolutely loved this hotel. The staff were so attentive and couldn’t do enough for us. The location was great so close to everything and the city is easily walkable. The room was lovely, really big with a good size bathroom. It had everything we needed. There is an evening service to replenish anything you may need i.e. teabags, towels etc. The pool area and loungers were perfect for relaxing. Valet parking was excellent and efficient.

We didn’t have breakfast as too pricey but lots of little cafes nearby and the market was a 2 minute walk.

We stayed here last year and loved it. We must highlight Hugues at the bar. He is a real pro! Passionate & knowledgeable about his job, as well as being friendly & engaging with clients. Léonce at reception was also a perfect gentleman and helpful. He greeted us in a warm & friendly manner. I can’t remember the name of the « voiturier » with the smart moustache, but he too was great at his job, friendly, explained where to go when visiting l’île de Ré. Very helpful & smiled consistently. Congratulations to the management for employing an amazing team at our favourite hotel in La Rochelle. Thank you.

Well nothing really, but to see the Christmas trees stacked at the entrance was a little odd.

Location, spa, comfortable and large room, great tub, nice cocktail bar and tenders, parking, incredible overall price

Our room seemed overall very clean but could have been cleaner in specific places (example - quite a lot of black mold in shower) and needed some general maintenance (door knob falling off, leaking shower pan in bottom corner, tissue box kept falling off wall, rug worn out and curling at corners). Lastly, the sauna (which is one reason I booked this hotel) was not accessible our last night, with no warning or explanation from staff. Despite these minor things, we loved our stay anyway and highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent location, walking distance to the market, beautiful rooms and facilities. We would have enjoyed the garden if it wasn't raining.

It wasn't easy to drive up to the hotel as it's at a restricted street. Google map didn't direct driving to the front of the hotel. We parked a couple of streets from the hotel and walked up to the reception for help. It would have been nice that the hotel sent us some instruction. The street entry code expired and the receptionist said that the new code was not available. Glad we took up the his offer having the driver to come with us. Otherwise, it would take us forever.

It was a pleasure to stay at this hotel for our first time. Perfectly situated in the heart of the city with its own dedicated underground secure parking. My impression was there is a very young team running this upmarket hotel, and what a fantastic job they are doing, the CEO would be really proud of them. They are efficient and motivated to give you, as guests, a fantastic time, going above and beyond to make you feel welcome. I would not hesitate in recommending the staff and hotel, the accommodation was great quality, the bar did fantastic cocktails. It put La Rochelle as a go to place for the two of us, and we will definitely be back and look forward to staying at the hotel again

Boutique hotel, ideal for seeing La Rochelle. Walking distance to everything, the amazing market is just around the corner (oysters and wine seems to be a Sunday morning thing there). Little supermarket and pharmacy 2 mins from the hotel. It’s quiet and off the main road so lovely to retreat back into after a day wandering the marina and streets. The pool and sauna area is small but ideal, we managed to swim every day and sauna everyday. The vibe is very chill, the place is polished not stuffy.

The breakfast was pricey so we choose to eat out instead
