Very stylish decor throughout the building, staff very good and accommodating, we paid for parking on premise and I would recommend people do that. We also booked breakfast when we arrived and it was very good and comprehensive. We’d certainly return. On returning to the hotel after dinner the concierge was very accommodating in providing us with a nightcap and a homemade biscuit. La Rochelle’s moules never disappoint

The room itself was quite small but very stylish, it wasn’t particularly easy for two people to get ready to go out at the same time, possibly a triumph of style over practicality.

The staff were very helpful and so nice to deal with and the rooms were really clean. The location was superb as it was within close walking distance of the main commercial centre of the city, without all the hustle and bustle, and it felt quite safe at night. There is also a bus stop right outside the door which is very handy for travelling to and from the airport. We were made to feel so welcome that It felt like it was a home away from home. The shower/bathroom facilities were fantastic, and I always appreciate a large shower head with powerful water flow. The breakfast was not included in our original booking, but we decided to try it on our first morning. It was a well laid out continental breakfast that was so tasty, we ended up booking it in for the rest of our trip. As a 3 star hotel it's also great value for money, and we will definitely be staying here the next time we return to La Rochelle

This is a very smart and tastefully decorated town house on the outskirts of the old part of La Rochelle. It is one minute away from a large civic park and is also particularly dog friendly, reception areas all spotless and the staff are very polite and helpful. The rooms are tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable and the shower in particular was very good. Unusually for France there is tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

The rooms are quite small. There is limited car parking but plenty on street nearby.

Lovely building full of interesting art. Excellent communication and our engagement with all the members of the team was very helpful and positive. We appreciated being able to park on site (for a reasonable fee), and were also granted a late check out on request, which was helpful. Our room was small-ish, but comfortable with everything we needed. Ideal location for what we wanted to do in La Rochelle, and an easy walk to the centre. Breakfast was also a treat, with lots of home-baked goodies.

Our room was on the street, so we had a bit of noise from there, but it was quiet at night. We also would have preferred thicker curtains to keep out the light in the evening. But these are very minor things and didn't take away from a great stay.

Excellent location, quiet, clean spacious room (prestige double) querky decor and interesting artwork. Le Manoir has an atmosphere of elegant charm. Ensuite facilities are modern with nice shower - toilet decor could do with refresh. Attentive staff + super cold buffet breakfast with a large selection of fruits, yoghurts, compotes, pastries, breads, cakes and delicious home made peanut butter. Definitely will recommend and return.

Nothing to dislike. Toilet decor in need of refresh. Dressing gowns and a few extra toiletries (shampoo, body lotion) could enhance room and would be welcomed.

Excellent value for money, especially as it was a last minute booking- the room was spacious, very comfortable bed, staff were extremely polite and helpful, situated in a quiet residential area 10 minute walk or so from the city centre. The breakfast was very good too. Would stay again for sure!

Perhaps the room could have been a little bigger but it was still beautiful and comfortable and loved the open double window aspect. Tried a wine in the evening which sadly was not to our taste perhaps they could have a muscadet or one in stock.

Our second stay here and it will not be our last. This lovely old property has been beautifully restored and decorated, the rooms are large and comfortable with huge beds which are extremely comfortable. The short walk into La Rochelle through the park is very easy to enjoy the huge array of restaurants, bars and street vendors. The staff are very welcominh and helpful and the breakfast also was excellent. Thanks again Le Manoir !!

Beautiful historic building with contemporary and imaginative styling. Excellent position for leisurely stroll into the port and harbour areas and equally near beaches. Friendly helpful & professional staff. Lovely breakfast in a beautiful dining room ( gorgeous tableware too!). Air conditioning in room was fantastic as was the super walk in shower with an enormous rainfall shower head.

Nice clean hotel with a bit of style, that was reasonably priced. Breakfast was good and we availed of the parking on site. The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful.

Nothing, suited us as we were travelling to Cherbourg and stopped off in La Rochelle for a night.
