Wanted a twin room but they didnt have any left

Staff member when I checked in was more interested in watching the Olympics on the TV than serving us

Very clean ..simple accomodation...15 min pleasant walk to Old La Rochelle....Senior manageress very helpful in arranging parking....use this ...street parking is expensive...All good ...excellent value for money.

No air con. in hotel...so room rather warm...we asked for an extra fan and got one ..no problem so helped a bit...suggest request room on higher level with windows that fully open. Not hotel fault but La Rochelle in traffic chaos due closure of old road bridge....go around , Rocade, and get to hotel via Minimes area then no problem ...avoid centre...in a car.

A perfectly good hotel. Matched its price. Location for walk into middle of La Rochelle excellent. Judge your own walking speed but took us 10-20 minutes. Area felt safe. Public car parking nearby. Bit confusing which meter is which area but we did not get a ticket.

Late check in does exist on demand and worked very well. My negative is that our flight got moved back and we hurried needlessly. If the hotel has a great facility, which they do, should make it clearer to guests and save them worry early? Didn't use spa or pool so cannot comment :)

Receptionist was very good and efficient check in was quick Our room had a small kitchen corner - enough for breakfast- a good size bathroom with a powerfully shower, the bed was confortable. Room was clean and bright. Close to shops, numbers 3 and 4 buses within few minutes walk or the batobus to bring you in the center in minutes at the end of the road.Close to the Maritime museum and the Aquarium We did not used the swimming pool or take the breakfast option Very happy with our choice we will book again when in La Rochelle

Great location. Five minutes walk from central La Rochelle. You wouldn't want to be closer than that! Good bed. Fridge. There is plenty of parking around on the street but it is all paid... But it is free from 18h to 9h.... So we only paid for an hour in the morning before we left. If you are here for days you should probably do the underground 9 euros per day.

The pool is only open from 10am to 8pm. So we missed it when we first arrived, and then rushed to have a quick swim before checking out! Nice to have a pool though!

This was the second time we have stayed here over the Christmas period and we will definitely come back again. The Apart’Hotel is about 14 minutes walk from the old harbour and has free parking outside or secure underground parking for a small fee. Our room was spotlessly clean and had adequate facilities for cooking simple meals and a big shower room. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The swimming pool is an added bonus. There is a Carrefour Express a few minutes walk away. La Rochelle is amazing and well worth a visit. Many restaurants, bars, shops and the central market are open every day over Christmas. There are fabulous walks including around the towers, along the old walls and on the beach path.

Very good location. Spacious bedroom and bathroom.

Reception staff not friendly or helpful. The microwave was faulty so not able to self cater fully. Asked for more toilet rolls which they said yes to but non arrived. Staff entered our room to remove a bed and did not ask to enter or tell us they were going to enter our room. Nothing taken but not comfortable with this this.

It had a capark. It had a lift. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room included cooking facilities. It had a lovely indoor pool. Take time to walk to the juge Marina - down to the harbour and turn left (away from town)

It is a bit of a walk to the town but we knew this when we booked. A hold of 100 euro as a bond was put on our debit card. After more than two weeks, the hold is still on! I do not know whether the hotel has released the hold as I have received no response to phone calls or emails.

The fact that there was no parking available when we arrived. I thought the description of parking was misleading. Although it said that it wasn’t possible to book parking in advance it did not state how limited it was. We had difficulty finding somewhere to leave our car for a few days.

Good location and good value for money.

Reception hours were restricted to day time only. No bar or food other than breakfast. Underground car park very to get into and out off. Also EV chargers in underground would be an extra source of income for hotel. Finally there seemed to be air con controller but there were no instructions. Even if it was a heater controller there were no obvious instructions.
