Spa was nice, but could get very busy.

If it snowing, it quite hard to get up to car park by car as the apartments are on hill. Inside the apartment windows are not sealed, cold air was coming through, and you can't put temperature up in the room more than 20 or 21.

The apartment was very well equipped, warm, clean and very comfortable. The location was great for skiing. We had a locker by the telecabine, so there was no issue walking back up. The pool is big enough to swim in, and once you're swimming, it is warm enough. The var facility is great and good that it's open until 9. I love Le Grand Bornand and have Bern coming on and off for 20 years - it's a lovely friendly place with a good selection of bars and restaurants. The staff in Chalets de Joy were lovely, so helpful and very professional.

100 euro per dog does seem a lot of money - and we had two! A small thing, there were 6 of us but if 8 ( as the apartment is equipped for) 2 loos would be an issue in the morning. We had sn en suite which we'd thought would have a toilet but it was shower and vanity. For the cost of the apartment, we did think it was a bit odd that you have to take all your rubbish to the town municipal bins.

A perfect retreat in a perfect location for a summer vacation with my family (2x adults & 2xteenagers)

The spa facility was overrun with small, unsupervised children in all areas and there was no intervention from staff to manage this effectively. There was also a lack of sun loungers to enjoy the evening in the sunshine on the terrace.

The spa had a pool, jacuzzi, sauna and cold plunge which was lovely after a day skiing. The location was great for the ski lift - literally at the bottom of the hill. You can order fresher baked croissants and bread for the morning. You can walk to Bornand and go to dinner.

Nothing- up a steep hill in case that is an issue for anyone but not for us

Staff were lovely, rooms were very nice and comfortable. Pool and spa area also great. Ski locker room very functional. Loved the morning bakery service!

The walk to and from the ski lift. Probably because of the low amount of snow this year it wasn't truly possible to ski in and out.

The property is beautiful, really modern, well looked after. Definitely a 5 star property.

Only negative, and it’s not even the properties fault, is the little walk up the hill with all your ski equipment after a full days skiing. This is the only negative and it’s nothing that would stop me staying here again.

No one had vacuumed under the sofa bed for a long time - it was unpleasantly dusty. They don’t provide enough dish washer tablets or loo rolls for a week.
