It was a very pleasant experience in an authentic castle among wineyard. The interior decoration keeps as original but with a modern bathroom and very comfortable bed. The chateau has a very nice natural environment and as for very few guest, all the great view and peace is for you! Our host was very kind who prepared delicious homemade breakfast. I will definitely give a 10 and highly recommend!!

Nothing. You have to bear in mind it’s a 15th century castle in the middle of nature. The environment and its authenticity is precious.

I arrived very late, but Delphine welcomed me warmly. She prepared both dinner and breakfast for me. She is a very kind, friendly, and attentive lady, truly providing top service. Delphine and her husband Thierry are great hosts. I really recommend this fantastic castle with views of the hosts' magnificent vineyards. Thank you Delphine .

Just the most perfect setting for a one night stay. Made very welcome even though I arrived late , their own vineyard wine was excellent and good breakfast in the morning overlooking the rows of grape vines and freshly bailed hay . My dog just yomped around the fields , The room itself was delightful , basically the bottom room in a round tower at one end of the main family building . Also absolutely no issue with having a good explore around the Chateau grounds . Thoroughly recommend staying .

Can’t fault anything

Breakfast was good, plentiful and varied. Classic french fare in a separate room overlooking the vineyard. Room was tastefully decorated and fireplace fully functioning that creates a very romantic atmosphere in the evening. The room is situated on ground floor with individual separate entrance directly from the grounds.

Honestly, everything was really good. If I had to find one drawback, maybe the bed could have been a bit bigger and comfier, but in all, a very lovely place to stay.

A wonderful property surrounded by Vineyards. Thierry is a wonderful host and made us very welcome. I look forward to tasting his wine and also coming back next year. The nearby village has a beautiful Boulangerie and next door a Pizza Wagon that serves wonderful Pizza. Such a lovely part of France. I feel we have found something quaint and special!

This is a fantastic old property full of history, The owners were both very welcoming and friendly. Looking over the vineyards with a glass of red, I quickly forget about the long drive to get here. Breakfast in the morning was a selection of breads, croissants, homemade jams, marmalade and honey. All served in a lovely private room to ourselves. We really enjoyed our stay.

Ambiance, the hospitality, the beautiful setting, the family environment and the warmth and friendliness of the hosts, a genuine historical chateau.

Careful of the mosquitoes in the warmer weather

What a great location. So quiet and peaceful surrounded by beautiful countryside with so much wild life. Delphine made the perfect host, with a delicious breakfast with home made jams and marmalade . The room was ideally situated with its own front door welcomed by beautiful flowers and a complimentary bottle of wine which was delicious

Nothing of note. Perhaps a small fridge in the kitchen area may be useful.

La Chambre de la Tour is a magical place which really caught our imaginations. We slept in a tower with a roaring log fire. The en suite shower room was well appointed. Our hostess suggested a lovely little bistro nearby for dinner, which we greatly enjoyed.

The property was amazing and full of so much history. The location ideal with a 30 min drive into Bordeaux. The room was comfortable and very clean. The hosts were gracious and generous. Everything was perfect.
