Large apartment with plenty of space and light. It was reasonably modern and all the appliances were in good working order. The apartment is close to the beach and shops and the train station is an easy walk in the other direction. Secure parking was a bonus and we didn't even need to use the car while we were there. The basics were provided to get us started and we stocked up on supplies at a nearby supermarket. Aircon was great because it was very hot when we were there. Was good to have a large outdoor balcony to dry clothes and beach towels.

The apartment was on the third floor directly facing the main street, it was very noisy. There was also a nearby train line that added to the noise. We wore ear plugs at night to block the sound and this worked pretty well. We couldn't sit on the large balcony due to the noise. Ask for an apartment that doesn't front the road and is higher up. The bed was also pretty uncomfortable and the mattress sagged on one side

The apartment is very spacious and the location is perfect, just a few minutes from the beach, the old town and a beautiful artisan bakery! The beds were comfy but would have preferred a double not twin beds. The apartment was fully kitted out including oven and dishwasher. It would have been nice to have some extras when we arrived late at night I.e., welcome drink.

When we arrived late at night and collected our key from the safety box, the fob didn’t work to let us in the main door downstairs so we had to wait for other residents to come in. This was around 11pm so we were worried we might not be able to access our room. This was resolved quickly by reception the following day and we didn’t have to wait long to get let in.

* Kettle poured terribly, danger of scalding * No bread knife * Patio/balcony doors did not close well nor block out sound of railway * Both bedroom doors also very hard to close * No extractor fans in either bathroom???

Location-confort

The glasses and plates were dirty, there was lipstick marks on glasses and cups

Apartment is very comfortable in central location for Menton. Public parking is available in the street and was easy to find. The apartment is functional and has everything you need for a vacation stay.

The apartment is provided with no blankets for the sofa bed, no toiletries or cleaning products. The apartment is pretty much empty apart from the made bed and towels in the bathroom, with not even extra toilet paper. To provide better service the apartment should have some tea, coffee, water available and provide at least some small toiletries and be sorted with cleaning products.

Very clean, spacious and comfortable appartment. Close to beach , ideally located for the train station, across the road from delicious patisserie and coffee. The wifi only seemed to work in certain locations in the appartment but this was not really a problem.

Regular visitors to Menton but hadn't stayed here before. Having now used the appartments we are planning to return at Easter. Clean, tidy and close to all amenities - and the staff were great too.

All good - so all I can say is that it would have been useful if there were stairs down to the underground car park rather than having to use the lift.

Modern, fully renovated and clean apartments, very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. Showers had good water pressure. Reception staff friendly and helpful. All the rooms have electric blackout shutters which are excellent at blocking out light. Effective air conditioning.

Limited opening times for reception and not open at all during Monday. The parking spots are very tight!

Spacious apartment which offers plenty of amenities (such as microwave). 5-min walk to the train station is a plus for people planning to explore other coastal towns.

Some of the dishes look pretty worn and need replacement. Also, certain items are not adjusted to the duration of stay (one roll of toilet paper for 10-day stay). No cleaning service nor bed sheets replacement.

The room was amazing. It was not only comfortable and well equipped, but also beautiful and modern. It was the apartment with huge terrace and the access to it from each room. Windows went to the inner yard with wonderful view, that’s why it was quiet. All furniture was modern and new. Kitchen equipment is of the highest quality. There was a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave oven, induction stove, electric oven, 2 fridges, iron. Air conditioner worked perfectly and we could control it separately in the bedroom and in the living room. In general everything was very well thought out for the comfort of guests. Wardrobes, tables, sideboards, plenty of furniture to store your stuff. The couch in the living room was rather comfortable as well as the bed, however it was small. As it was our first experience with apartment, we didn’t prepare for such things as absence of soap, shampoo and cleaning, but you can take everything with you and clean apartment yourself of course, it was absolutely not a problem. Wi-fi worked great. Perfect beach is 450 m from the hotel, there are bakeries, small markets, restaurants nearby. A big supermarket is only 3 km from the hotel. We had a great time and definitely come back next year to Residence Chateauneuf!

Bed was a little bit small. There was a nice table on the terrace, which unfortunately was not cleaned after previous guests. It was covered by dog’s hair and it was very unpleasant. There was a problem in the shower , water was leaking outside.
