The staff were wonderful. My friend needed an electric wheelchair. The staff organised the rental of one, helped us learn how to use it,and charged it for her overnight. The hotel was very near the beach, we could see the sea from our window and also near excellent restaurants. Could not fault anything.

We had thought that the hotel had a restaurant, slightly misleading information on Booking.com . The pictures make it look as if there could be meals other than breakfast but it does'nt actually matter. Found excellent restaurants!

Beautifully designed hotel, the decor fit the surroundings so well. It had the perfect balance of being really lovely but still having character. The staff were all so friendly and the little garden was such a lovely tranquil place to sit.

My only tiny issue would be that not all the rooms have fridges. We were in one of the cheaper rooms so I knew this when we booked but I underestimated how much some cold water would have helped coming back in the heat. There is a little Carrefour up the road so we just bought bottles from there but it would be really nice if all the rooms had fridges because of the heat and humidity.

Loved the outdoor space which was great for my morning yoga, the breakfasts were sumptuous, fresh and delicious, the staff was always friendly and helpful, the decor was fun and cheerful. Loved coming back to this place at the end of each day. The small bar was intimate and felt like a living room. I loved the meditation ‘center’ on the night table which I used a couple of nights. A very nice touch! Parking was easy and reasonable around the corner at a very nice public lot.

The lighting in the room was either dim or bright. It would have been good to separate the recessed lights from the ceiling light. A small thing, but I am an architect and notice things like this.

The property is perfect for menton. It’s a lovely little boutique hotel with some lovely outdoor seating. The staff are so friendly especially the bar man! It’s about a 15 minute walk to the main beach and it’s a very pleasant walk through the old town. We adored the outdoor bar & terrace and we found ourselves coming back here for a drink each night rather than stay up in the busy old town.

While breakfast was good for one of us, the other had a dairy allergy so there wasn’t the best selection in the world here but what was on offer was very tasty. Would like more fruit options.

Very clean and comfortable. The decor was also fresh and modern. The breakfast is excellent with a good variety of savoury, fruits, yoghourts and delicious home made cakes. The coffee is really good too. I really appreciated the free detox water fountain at the reception. We could help ourselves with glasses of water anytime which was very welcome during hot weather. Also the reception was very generous and always very friendly and keen to give us bottles of water. The external evening bars serves delicious cocktails and is very relaxing place to start or finish the evening.

The shower in our room was tiny for an average size person and no fridge but all in all the hotel has a five stars service from the staff. The location is ideal and the decor is very modern and classy.

Room was a sea view room overlooking the garden, it was spacious and the air con was excellent given it was 30-35 degrees outside. Location was in the heart of Menton so ideal for going out. The hotel had a traditional French theme but with a modern twist. Breakfast was really excellent, plenty of choice and home made granola was delicious. Had breakfast outside in the garden and this was very pleasant. They served local beer with a hint of lemon, this was really nice, refreshing a bit different. Staff were excellent, they all were very welcoming, helpful and seemed genuinely happy to see us.

Nothing at all, loved this hotel

The hotel looks lovely from the outside. It's an oasis from the hustle and bustle of Menton. The staff are amazingly attentive. From the minute we walked in to the minute we left, we were looked after. Breakfast was exceptionally good. I can't think of anything else I would have wanted. The bar was very good - lovely local beers and any exotic cocktail you might fancy. The room was really comfortable too - lovely bathroom and a comfortable bed. As it was very hot, we needed air-con, and it didn't disappoint. In terms of location, this is perfect. It's just off the sea front and a v short walk to the beach (about 2 minutes). It probably takes you 3 minutes to get into the warm Mediterranean Sea.

Everything was perfect

It's a super cute small hotel and it's totally worth a visit. It was renovated recently and the decor is straight from design magazines. The staff is very nice, breakfast was small selection but very good quality and taste, including local produce. On arrival there is a spot to park the car and unload it and you can park a car at nearby parking lot (you get a parking card form the hotel if you reserve it). The rooms and bathroom are a bit on the small side but when you go to Menton you don't really stay in the hotel. The bar in the garden is so nice, bartender super friendly and makes amazing lemon spritz.

Coffee, you need better coffee :)

I loved this hotel. It came at the end of a very busy 3 weeks of touring around France, and it was just perfect. From the extremely friendly welcome upon my arrival, to the continued great friendly service everywhere during my stay. My room was a great size, and as requested, very quiet. Comfortable bed and great shower. Perhaps a door on the shower room would be a good idea though. The breakfast was great and I loved how the doors were open onto the terrace, with jazz music playing quietly in the background. Would definitely stay here again, and such a good location for restaurants and the waterfront.
