We have read the 8.0 rating and was surprised as we are used to a decent Boscolo experience. After complaining about our first room, we got a new room with a bottle of Prosecco. Its a nice touch, but one would expect this to work on the first try at this level. Overall the 8.0 is a realistic rating.

The hotel is a bit outdated, first we got rooms outside (!) of the hotel in a gangway, with windows pointing to the gangway. Definitely nowhere near 5* experience. After complaining we got a room in the hotel, which is large and fine. Unfortunately the shower was broken, the minibar was not cooling, the king bed was 2 mattresses and overall some of the nearby 4* hotels look better at a lower price range.

An Absolute Gem – Elegant, Relaxing, and Unforgettable From the moment we arrived, we were swept away by the beauty and elegance of this hotel. The décor is breathtaking, with orchids gracing every corner, creating an atmosphere of serenity and sophistication. The rooms are exceptionally spacious, immaculately clean, and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, from the luxurious bedding to the modern amenities. The entire property feels like a peaceful retreat, yet still offers all the conveniences you could hope for. Truly an unforgettable experience – we can’t wait to return!

The only slight disappointment was the pool area, which wasn’t quite as appealing as the rest of the property and could have been a little larger

The hotel is located in Nice city - only minutes away from shopping street. The Nice-Ville train station is a 10 min walk which is great if you want to take day trips to Monaco/ Cannes etc. The hotel was comfortable- staff was very pleasant - I was upgraded to a higher category room on arrival which was very nice. The bathrooms were clean and modern- beautiful French balconies for fresh air - the sauna was closed for renovation. The room service lunch and dinner food was great. Small menu but whatever I ordered was good. They leave little chocolates in the room every night which was a cute treat. Water and soft drinks in mini fridge were complimentary throughout the stay. Which was lovely :)

The indoor pool was a bit old. Needed renovation . The spa /pool side ran out of towels - so I had to go back up to my room to get a towel and robe. Minor inconvenience. Since the hotel is on a street - cars, and garbage trucks are on roads pretty early in the morning - If you are a light sleeper - this could disturb.

The hotel and spa are simply fantastic — highly recommended! While a few staff members could benefit from more training and experience to match the high standards of the hotel, the core team is absolutely outstanding. A special mention goes to Miss Pettruci, the reception manager, who is a true superstar! She handled all our concerns instantly and with such professionalism, making everything smooth and stress-free. The mature gentleman at the bar was also incredibly professional and helpful. Staff like Miss Pettruci are what truly make this place exceptional. Bravo!

Property is just fabulous! The location is perfect -just a short walk from everything. But the staff made it extra special. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday and our wedding anniversary and they couldn’t have done enough for us. They left champagne and treats for him and they went out of their way to make it the most special of days. We stayed in the duplex suite and it was the best room I have ever stayed in - duplex of 100 sqm and 2 bathrooms -just gorgeous.

I was greeted respectfully and professionally. The wait staff in the bar that evening were excellent. My room was great; it was quiet and I slept quite well. Breakfast was also excellent and the greeting each morning was pleasant and professional. The location couldn't have been better. Overall, I will be a fan from now on. Please convey my gratitude to staff.

Comfortable seating in the lobby. The lobby was more like a museum and not a comfortable place; perhaps a library would work on the side....

The hotel while ‘new’ looked stark and unlike the many of the other ‘5 star hotels in Nice’. The hallways were dark with poorly lit ‘economy’ LED bulbs and lift lobby was akin to an old business conference centre. We had a superior room and would have expected a bath and shower, where only an incredibly larger shower was provided. Breakfast did not represent good value and the coffee was disappointing.

We had an exceptional stay here at Boscolo Nice. The staff were wonderful, especially Melanie and Antony. Everyone went out of their way to help me with my young daughter. The food and drinks on the rooftop are delightful and general feeling and ambiance up top is sublime. I will definitely be revisiting, to be honest we didn’t want to leave! I will most definitely visit the other Boscolo in Lyon when I have the chance. Location of the hotel is fantastic, 10/15 minute walk to everything you need. Complimentary drinks in the mini bar daily which is a very nice touch. My only advice would be to get the tram to the hotel from the airport, it’s €10pp and around 13 stops, Line 2 - (blue) super easy. As apposed to a €45 taxi for the same journey time. Lots of Ubers in the area also, quick, kind and efficient. Finally the spa, really relaxing and nice facilities, we virtually had the place to ourselves. Location great. Convenient for everything- airport, beach, shopping, transport links. Comfort, style and design of hotel is appealing to me. Front office staff were delightful. Free soft drinks and mini toblerone in the room mini-bar was a nice touch and much appreciated. Turn down rejuvenating eye pads also a nice touch. It was a first time stay for me but I will return!

Excellent location, right in the heart of Nice and close to all the restaurants. The hotel staff is excellent, and it is without a doubt the nicest place I have ever worked. We had never been treated so wonderfully; champagne and a loving card were waiting for us when we got to room one (this was a special trip for me and my fiancé). What a wonderful experience working with Boscolo! Congrats to the entire staff.

I just had one complaint, and that was regarding the sauna. Wasn't working for repairs, however this is a little concern compared to the wonderful experience. Everything else was flawless, and they pay close attention to every little detail. I highly endorse your visit.
