Great location, cute design and welcoming staff

The cleanliness is not the best- the glasses, cuttlery and plates for breakfast was all dirty with food residue that was dried and not properly cleaned. The cups were cloudy and had stains

We had one of the best hotel experiences at this hotel during our stay in Nice and I would absolutely recommend. The hotel staff are immensely helpful, very friendly, the rooms are great and the location of the hotel is perfect for the beach and the train station (15 min walk). We had had to book this hotel last minute due to experiencing a fire at another air bnb building. It was a traumatic experience and the hotel staff were so nice, giving my partner a hug and even some flowers. I would especially like to thank Arthur who was so welcoming. Very courteous and helpful throughout our stay. Thank you.

The location is excellent - handy for the tram (to+from the airport), close to the seafront, and even closer to a pedestrian area with lots of restaurants. About 10 minutes' walk from the old town. My Standard room was compact, but big enough for me. Comfortable bed. Breakfast variety and quality was good. Coffee was available free all day. All the staff were charming - friendly and helpful. A special thank-you to Saloua on reception, who was exceptionally kind and helpful when I had a problem.

The coffee in the machine was on the weak side; I found adding an espresso to a latte machiato resulted in just about the strength of a normal cafe creme / latte.

The staff were excellent! So friendly and kind, very helpful with suggestions on places to eat. The lobby was great with a comfy outdoor space and bar. Coffee and water was always available. A cute note was left on our bed upon arrival with some welcome gifts. Bed was comfortable. Location was great, right by the main streets with lots of cafes and restaurants. Also very close to Promenade des Anglais. There’s also a delicious boulangerie across the street from the hotel that we stopped in every morning for coffee and pain au chocolat.

The room is on the smaller side, not too much space for luggage.

Property was close to many restaurants and shops and only a small walk to Old Nice. When we arrived we were greeted by Dinithi who gave us an upgrade to a suite with a balcony, when we initially chose a more basic room - this was a great start to our trip as it was our first time in Nice. All of the staff were very friendly and very helpful when had questions about where to go during our stay and how the transportation worked. Rooms were comfy and clean and reception had usual breakfast facilities with great variety and water dispensers we could use the whole trip. We felt very secured and safe, as the lift to the rooms or the stairs required keycards in order to be used. We will definitely be returning we had a great first time in Nice!!

"The Deck Hotel by Happyculture” - beautiful place to stay with a great location !!! The staff at "The Deck Hotel by Happyculture” : Arthur, Eleonora and Dinithi were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay from 3rd - 5th March 2025! All staff of this hotel with a Great attitude!!!! The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable!!! We also enjoyed the delicious, fantastic breakfast each morning and loved the convenient location close to major attractions. We loved everything about this hotel! Clean rooms, friendly staff, and a nice atmosphere!!! Also Great for a family trip! I highly recommend "The Deck Hotel by Happyculture” in Nice, France !!! Can’t wait to come back!!!

Perfectly placed, well planned, true hospitality. If Nice is a small point to joy, Deck will be the place which lead you to reach it. Welcoming staff, satisfactory items and areas. 6 min sorry 4 min walking distance to old town and 3.5 to seaside :) Keeping luggages safe after your check out period and also receiving them before your check in time. Umbrellas to borrow etc etc. Last but not least thk u Ingred and all the crew for your kind welcome. Surely see u again.

Lovely reception staff. Easy to find and easy to get to. The room was a decent size and all was clean. Good value for money and a great stay.

The room's lighting was a bit odd, there wasn't a main light. Which would've been fine in Summer but in the Winter it was a little dark and felt a little too dimmed. The breakfast felt a little bit unorganised - I went a bit later towards the end of the period and there was nothing left and nothing replenished. Maybe that's on me but it was also only a selection of some cheeses/hams and some bread and some pastries, nothing special and nothing seemingly specially French/Nicoise ? Also there was a lack of cups and the staff were too busy to be able to flag down and ask them where they were so you could get a drink. Only a bit sad about the breakfast , which you could just go out and get, otherwise the rest of the stay was great

There was an issue with the booked suite. Despite advertising it as suitable for people with disabilities, it wasn't. Guests ended up in 2 separate rooms, which technically solved the situation, but not the most convenient solution. Breakfast was offered as compensation. All in all good experience with some room for improvement for people with disabilities, as this was the main reason for choosing the hotel. Also bathroom in the common area is not suitable for them.

Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. (left passports in Taxi and Manager called Airport and was able to get message to taxi driver who returned passports) Location was great. Close to pharmacy, market, restaurants , shops and the Promenade. Cold/hot breakfast was good way to start the morning. Overnight Garage close to the hotel which was a plus as well.

Trash pick up was at 1:00 am on Sunday morning so it was very noisy during that time.
