The overall experience was pretty okay, friendly personnel, good breakfast buffet, good location. Downsides where, lightning in the room was specifically at the entrance of the room poor, while this is where the dark closet with the locker is situated. Due to the lack of light in this spot, a flashlight is needed to find back your stuff. Also there is no proper showerhead holder, so you need to keep the shower head in hand while taking a shower and taking a bath was impossible as the plug was not there.

The reception staff were very friendly and happy to help with directions, advice etc. The room was comfy, but sadly had a pretty poor view out to boilers/pipework etc and it was a bit dark. Very clean on arrival and good facilities e.g. toiletries, lots of towels and a hairdryer. Lift available for higher floors.

The view - I was told the single rooms available didn't look out into the street, which was a shame as it was still a fair amount of money for 4 nights in high season. Also just a bit of incorrect info given by reception about a travel card but that was minor and I was able to figure it out.

Location, loads of restaurants nearby, and only a short walk to the beach and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

We experienced a drainage issue in our room, where water drains very slowly during showers, leading to an overflow if the water is not turned off temporarily. This concern was reported to the reception on our first day, but unfortunately, there has been no improvement

Small hotel in an excellent position to the messana- pedestrian mall. Easy walk to the tram and the promenade. Room was good size with all amenities. Spotlessly clean. Bed was very comfortable. Very helpful staff particularly the front desk during the public transport strike.

Breakfast was very basic. Eggs, bacon and sausages were cold. No view from the room but was quiet.

Location great, we have stayed at this hotel before and this was why we returned, the room is spotlessly clean and towels , and bedding changed a lot, the staff are friendly and helpful so I these points I would say the hotel is excelent There was always plenty of hot water and the air con worked really well and wasn't noisy.

I shared the room with my daughter and the wardrobe space was very small only four hangers between us and no drawers to put anything in which meant we had to keep everything in the case all week so clothes were skewed up and creased, the chair was too big for the room and took up too much room and the bathroom was cramped. On a personal note although there looked like a lot of choice for breakfast there was no breakfast rolls and the bread had been sliced too early and was dry and very hard crust which I don't like so I didn't enjoy the breakfast.

The Hotel is open 24 hours and I arrived at midnight. The Location is fantastic. A few minutes walk to the Promenade, Old Town and all shops and restaurants. The hotel has a lift. I have stayed here twice previously and will do so again.

The Hotel blocks the wifi for WhatsApp and Facebook!

I have stayed at the Suede 4 times over the last 6 years. The location is great - very close walk to the beach and old city as well as public transport and convenience grocery stores, museums, shopping and many restaurants. The hotel buffet breakfast was convenient but the quality was somewhat mediocre...but not bad either. There are plenty of affordable options for breakfast outside in the town. I will recommend Suede to anyone including families with young children. This is not a super fancy hotel but a solid 3 star. I had to catch an early flight so was down in the lobby at 4 am - the overnight staff was extremely helpful in getting me transport to the airport. overall very friendly staff.

Excellent hospitality levels from the moment we arrived until the day we departed. Idyllic surrounding and the quality of the accommodation were a luxury that we as senior travelers had not had the pleasure of experiencing. The staff member specially Mr Alex pay attention to our needs. He's impeccable you'll be impressed Hotel Suede centrally located, clean and comfortable.

I should stay longer

Nice hotel, room was basic. They offer towels for the beach which was helpful but they do run out. We had breakfast included and it had great variety. Some of the staff are fantastic, some are not as friendly. Only about 2 minute walk to the beach and plenty of food/restaurants literally around the corner.

The welcome we received at reception from Alex set the scene for a wonderful break. He was kind, helpful, funny and made sure we made the most of our stay and we enjoyed talking to him each morning - a great ambassador for the hotel and for Nice itself. We also enjoyed the location of the breakfast lounge with a fantastic view of the town from the roof terrace and the hotel was a perfect location in the town close to the sea front, Promenade des Anglais, lots of great cafes and restaurants and the old town. The bed was very comfortable and the room had all the things to make you comfortable.

The bathroom door did not close properly and was very close to the toilet which made the bathroom a little awkwardly laid out despite being plenty big enough. Also the curtains didn't quite fit which made it a little light in the mornings but neither were big issues.
