Given the fabulous position of the hotel on the promenade des Anglais, we were disappointed at the lack of communal space for guests to view the Promenade. Neither the reception area nor breakfast area on the third floor had a good view.

The Hyatt Regency in Nice is truly a gem in every sense. Its phenomenal location, right at the edge of the famous Promenade des Anglais, makes it the perfect spot for soaking up the sun and enjoying the stunning Riviera views. The atmosphere is sunny, elegant, and thoroughly enjoyable – where you instantly feel at ease. The service is outstanding, with a team that goes above and beyond to ensure every guest feels special. The hotel is phenomenal, offering a classic charm that perfectly complements its iconic location. While it’s starting to show some age, I’m confident that Hyatt will rise to the occasion and renovate this incredible property to make it shine even brighter. It’s a true jewel, and with some polish, it will undoubtedly become even more spectacular. It was highly recommended for anyone visiting Nice!

Location of this hotel is absolutely amazing! Walking distance to beaches, all shops, restaurants and Old Nice. The staff was wonderful, welcoming upon arrival and helpful with anything needed. Special thank you to the restaurant staff (poolside and for evening dinner)! They were especially incredible! The room size was very large with a large balcony too.

Everything else was amazing but there could be great improvement in the cleaning and maintenance of the floor and rooms. The shower grout was moldy and the toilet smelled like there was a leak the whole time. The bathroom was like a cheap hotel. Also, a musty odor on the entire floor as soon as you got off the elevator.

It’s a beautiful hotel, good location and helpful staff. Breakfast has good quality and variety and the facilities are ok. Generally was a nice hoteal to stay in Nice.

The rooms are a bit outdated. The toilet was a separate room with no sink. The extra bed we asked for was a small obe-person sofa-bed and its mattress was not suitable for a 5-star hotel.

Location is excellent being close to the beach, an easy walk from the centre of the city and well connected by pubic transport to the airport and the rest of the city. Hotel is very high quality, staff exceptional and quality of linen and cleaning service very high. Breakfast is exceptional

although it had a nice view of the city and mountain, and a small terrace with seats, the room was pretty average, and less than we had hoped for an expensive hotel

Definitely a good place to stay at with great staff, nice buffet breakfast, good fitness room, pool, great beach club nearby & great location. It’s a more elevated beach hotel that I would rate at a 4.5 out of 5 stars.

The bedrooms have some wear and tear on them- specifically the carpeting (one day they should renovate and take out this carpeting completely since it would look much nicer) and the bathrobes they provide in the rooms should be replaced with newer ones. Just a little bit of a worn out feel in a couple of things, but not much! I’m only being picky because they rate it at 5 stars.

wonderful property, staff, location, restaurant and facilities! we were only there one night, wish we hadn't been so zonked from 18 hrs of flying so we could have used the facilities! Hopefully next time!

expensive for a small room with a smoky terrace above an astroturf roof and other rooms and balconies, described as 'city view.' would prefer a smoke free floor. drinks service on outside terrace bar was very slow. and smoky, wish there had been a non-smoking section

The hotel is on the promenade so its a lovely location and walking distance to all the local restaurants, beach, shopping centres, shops and the train station which is a 15-20 min walk. The staff really go out their way to assist you and give you lots of information which we really appreciated. Staff at reception were fab, I think it was Olga from Uzbekistan that checked us in and made us feel super welcome and gave us everything we needed, she went out her way for us, so thank you for that. Concierge were also great, they gave us fab tips for local restaurants, things to see and do. We really enjoyed our trip and the hotel was memorable. The sauna was nice treat after a long day of walking. The hotel is only a short trip from the airport, 15-20 mins on the bus and the other side is Monaco on the train which is about 20 mins.

Just be mindful, there are a number of hotels on the promenade that look a touch dated but it didn't really bother us, as inside was lovely and the staff went our their way to help us.
