We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Jay Hotel and were fortunate enough to spend five days there—definitely the perfect amount of time to explore Nice and the surrounding towns (mind you, we could have stayed for an extra few days). From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. Their warmth and attentiveness truly set the hotel apart. A special thank you to Lilana and the entire team for making our stay so memorable. Our one-bedroom apartment on the second floor was well-equipped, spacious, and comfortable, providing everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring we both slept soundly each night. We also greatly appreciated the thoughtful extras provided by the hotel. The complimentary coffee station downstairs offered a fantastic selection of coffees, hot chocolates, and teas—far superior to what we've found in other hotels. This was in addition to the in-room coffee machine. The tea selection, in particular, was outstanding. Additionally, the hotel provided a SodaStream machine along with free biscuits and lollies, a lovely touch that made us feel even more at home. It’s clear that the managers of The Jay Hotel go above and beyond to ensure their guests feel welcome. On multiple occasions, we were personally greeted by Mr. and Mrs. [Last Name], which added to the hotel’s warm and inviting atmosphere. A heartfelt thank you to everyone at The Jay Hotel for such a fantastic experience—we can’t wait to return!

Perfect location, Promenad, Hotel Negresco is in 3 minutes. Parking opportunity is also in 3 minutes for a reasonable price.

The rooms a very tiny, almost impossible opening a normal size lugage. The breakfast is poor, cucumbre and ham was withered, small supply and low quality comparing the price. Great coffees all arround the hotel for a much better price.

We spent five unforgettable days in this wonderful hotel and would like to sincerely thank the team for their hospitality! We were warmly welcomed by Liliana, the true heart and soul of this place. Her warmth, care, and genuine dedication to making our stay comfortable could be felt in every detail. The hotel is impeccably clean, cozy, and thoughtfully maintained. The breakfasts were simply delightful—fresh croissants, aromatic coffee, and a great selection of delicious treats made for the perfect start to the day. A huge thank you to the entire team for their excellent service! If we return to Nice, it will definitely be to this hotel.

Excellent location, most of the staff members were extremely welcoming and polite. Breakfast was good. They helped us safely storing our bikes overnight and also were very accommodating with our luggage upon check-out.

Several nights when back from dinner, reception door was closed and it took some time to get concierge to open it. Even though we had been there for days, one of the staff members was very rude to my husband for no reason, demanding "his business" in the hotel; so he had repeat our room number every time he encountered her.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. It has an excellent location, only a 5 - minute walk from the beach. The rooms are very comfortable, and it offers great value for money.

Most of the staff are really nice and helpful. However, there was a letdown. When we first arrived at the hotel on the first day, I showed the hotel's location to the lady at the front desk. But she said this wasn't the hotel we were supposed to check into. So we left the hotel and searched around for a long time. Later, we confirmed that it was indeed the same hotel, and we went back to her to check in. I'm not sure if this was an unintentional mistake or a deliberate act of racial discrimination.

Nicest staff I encountered in a while! So attentive and genuinely friendly! Free coffee and quality tea all day at the lobby, super clean, great breakfast included with fresh french croissants, pastries, eggs, cheese and more. For a 4-star hotel the design and the attention to detail is so good and soothing. Even the plates and mugs at breakfast are the same color scheme as the lobby and the rooms. We slept great. Very quiet, calm energy, the curtains blocked 100% of the light so we could sleep in. The location is 5 minutes walk from the beach and walking at distance from all the main sites There's a Carrefour downstairs and an induction stove in the room, so you can also cook for yourself. Excellent value for money!

My family and I recently stayed at The Jay Hotel in Nice for three nights in one of their studio rooms. We were celebrating my parents' birthdays, and the hotel very kindly upgraded my mom and dad's room, making the occasion even more special. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Their warm hospitality added a personal touch to our stay. The location is, as many reviews have mentioned, absolutely perfect. It's a short walk to the beach, the old town, and the train station, making it an ideal base for exploring Nice. Overall, the highlights of our stay were undoubtedly the exceptional service provided by the staff and the hotel's prime location. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend The Jay Hotel to anyone visiting Nice.

Exceptional experience in every way possible. From the warm and energetic welcome from Alain to the well considered guest amenities, everything was perfection. If you’re staying in Nice, this is a fantastically situated hotel. Moments from Tue old town, less than 3 mins walk to the beach and a quiet area at night. The rooms are lovely with a clever kitchenette incorporated into the room with a full size fridge: guests have free sparking and still filtered water and access to a coffee machine in the lobby plus nespresso pod machine in the room. There’s a carrefour a few metres away too! I would return here without any doubt, a great hotel and special thanks to the wonderful Alain and his team for making our stay a joy.

Great location for travelling around, short walking distance from the train station, museums, old town etc and lot of great restaurants around! The staff were really great, very welcoming and happy to help. I was able to drop my bags off and change since I arrived earlier than check in, received a lovely handwritten note when I arrived and got an umbrella the one day it rained (may not seem like much, but these little things make a difference). The room was great, much bigger than the picture showed, lots of light pouring in and there's a convenient little kitchen area too. And very clean. Room service was great too and again, all the staff were so friendly!
