We communicated in advance that we were arriving past midnight, and the check-in was seamless. The staff were polite and attentive. The room and toilet was spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast. Location is just right for us - quiet and away from hustle and bustle of the city centre, yet within walking distance to the city centre and train station.

Since the room was fairly large, it would have been great if there was an extra seat in the room since there were 2 of us, but it's not an issue.

It was well located not far to walk from Nice Ville station and only a block or so from the esplanade. It was a lovely old style building with a little balcony with shutters. Our family room was quite big for four people, with 4 single beds. The Beds were comfortable and air conditioning worked well. Room was clean and serviced daily. Lots of restaurants nearby. We could borrow mats and umbrellas for the beach for free and they gave us beach towels. They happily supplied some fresh milk in a jug so I could make a cup of tea in our room. There was a safe but no fridge.

Another folding luggage rack in the quadruple room would be handy.

Stayed here before and chose to come back Great location on a quiet street but only few blocks from the beach and other entertainment. Cyril , the guy at the front desk is awesome. He set up all my tours and was very helpful for helping me find interesting places to visit.

Breakfast staff can be a little rude. They turn off the lights in the dining room exactly at 10am even if guests are still eating. Also if you’re a late breakfast, it appears that they stop putting things out at 9:30am. First come first serve.

The hotel is in a great location, in a lovely part of the city, just 150 meters from the English Promenade. Tram number 2 from airport provides easy access to the area. Train station is a 10-minute walk away, from where you can easily reach Monaco, Menton, and other nearby destinations. Cleanliness is top-notch—everything is impeccably clean, towels and soaps are replaced daily, and the beds are made up. The hotel dates back to 1905 and has its own distinctive style. The bathrooms are older, but they are perfectly clean. The Wi-Fi was generally good, with only a brief interruption on one night. The breakfast is varied, offering everything from pastries to fruit and delicious cheeses.

Overall, the impression is that everything looks even better in person than in the photos on Booking, so we would suggest updating the hotel’s photo gallery.

Very comfortable beds.. Location is excellent - sea is near, city center is near.

Rooms are decent in size but ... Pity that they put some new bits of furniture (looking more like you will put in wooden lodge) not in line with building and city of Nice style. It would be much easier and nicer to follow the old world look. Hotel as a whole could be much more appealing with small interior design amendments. Amateur approach is visible everywhere. Thinking that they are improving something - waste of money and effort. Lovely building.

Great location for the hotel. Great communication of the staff for English speaker, as I lack knowledge of French. The room was good sized, bed was good for what I had paid for and was what I expected. The breakfast was good. Absolutely loved the watermelon and the cake that was served, made for a perfect start to the morning and a lovely coffee machine. The room did have a kettle but I did not use it as I was only drinking water due to the heat but this was a nice surprise as do not often see this in many hotels ive stayed in as of late.

The shower had a curtain, I prefer shower doors, personal preference.

Our room was modern and spacious, with a nice French balcony and an adjacent bathroom. The room included a large bed, wardrobe, TV set and a small table with chair. Kettle and teabags were provided. The bathroom was large and included a walk-in shower. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel looked very elegant from the outside. Location was convenient to the train station and the Promenade des Anglais. Altogether it was good value for money.

Breakfast was not included in the price and was available for 10 euros per person. There was only 1 towel in the room for 2 people for one night, and we had to ask the staff to provide a second towel. The tissue holder in the bathroom was loose and fell off in the middle of the night.

Excellent location only a 10 minute walk from the promenade and the Nice-Ville train station, with plenty of different shops/eateries also in walking distance, and only a 20 minute drive from the airport. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were very kind and friendly. I had a lovely view from my room of the pretty courtyard and the AC worked very well. Plug sockets right next to the bed. Good shower. The lounge area is also clean and comfortable and you can store your luggage there too.

The location was great, a couple blocks from where all the restaurants and beach was, but still with a block or two of buffer room so there was much less street noise to deal with. I had the breakfast every morning and it was very enjoyable. The staff was extremely friendly every time I encountered one of them.

My doorway was at a corner with 3 other doorways to other rooms. It could get a bit noisy when people were coming and going. It also smelled very very strongly of smoke in my room. I didn’t notice it in the rest of the hotel, but my room definitely had been smoked in many times before, even though it was non smoking (I also saw another hotel guest smoking on their balcony so perhaps it rose up to my room. Unsure! It just was very smoke smelling). I was also given the single room so I may not have had the glamorous stay most people had here… so be lucky if more than one guest stayed with you in your room!!
