The location was excellent — right along the Promenade des Anglais with easy access to the beach and city center.

Unfortunately, the property did not match the photos provided online. It was significantly more dated than advertised. The carpets were heavily stained and emitted an unpleasant odor. Our “king” bed had a single-size duvet inside a king-size duvet cover, which made it uncomfortable. Additionally, the bathrobes provided were visibly worn, discolored, and stained — far below expected standards for a hotel in this price range.

Good location, silent rooms and comfy beds.

The hotel requires a photocopy of your passport. The copy is stored unmarked in a drawer. It is unclear where and how it is stored afterwards. Easy target for (identity)theft... Making copies of identity papers is not of this time, there are better (electronic) ways to record ID information. Leaving/storing them unmarked is a nogo IMHO.

The Location is super good , at the promenade des Anglais , 5 min walk to the centre where all shops are , coffee shops, bars restaurant. Romm was spacious .bed was compfy.

Will be good to provide some complimentary water .coming from the airport 1st thing is to have a sip of water . No sleepers, . Some big pillows will be great rather than to have many small ones . House keeping were so loud at the morning , slapping the doors was really inconvenient .

Breakfast had a variety of choices. We had the breakfast on our first day and the last day of our stay. The first day was disappointing since the hot foods were picked out around 9am so we wished we had more choice. On the last day we were in the dining room at 7am And it was plenty to eat.

It seems like there was some renovation happening in the few rooms and hallways. So, surely there will be some aesthetic improvements soon.

Close proximity to restaurants, transportation (train, airport, tour bus, and walking). Beach front property with beautiful views of ocean and promenade. Lively area with lots of shopping, choices of restaurants ($$, $$$), flea markets, and local attractions. Beach access across from hotel. Hotel offers free breakfast daily which can be enjoyed onsite or front porch with views of the ocean. Also have a bar in the lobby offering sandwiches, drinks, etc. Rooms are spacious enough and clean. Hotel has six floors decorated in an art deco style. Colorful and bright with a slightly old world feel. It works! To sum it all up, we enjoyed our stay.

Overall I give this 4 stars… would have been 5 if some minor details were not noticeable. For instance the hotel would be a 5 star if it were given some care and attention to its upkeep. Keeping up with more modern decor, replacing worn carpets, and using more high end bedding, towels and toiletries would improve the feel and look of the hotel. It is in the perfect tourist area and has very high potential for improvements. I recommend this hotel!

The location was excellent. The staff were very helpful and very professional especially Pieter who works overnight.

The front doors were not very welcoming and were old and need to be replaced in order to compete with other hotels in vicinity . There was mold around the corners of the shower room. Room carpet was less than average. Elevator was very tight but I understand it is the same in so many hotels in France. Also maybe the hotel should invest in a shuttle service to make it more easy on their guests since the airport is not far. We love nice and we love France and I recommend them for everyone. Kudos again to the staff.

Thé location was excellent, close to many restaurants and the beach. The staff especially Jessica and the young gentleman were friendly and helpful with every request. Customer serve excellent

The breakfast was decent, had many choices but quality of food just okay. However, coffee machine was great

Deluxe double room with sea view was large and very comfortable. Wonderful view across to the beach. One of the largest and most comfortable beds in any hotel we've ever stayed in. Twin balconies in the room are small but we managed to squeeze two seats onto one. Little welcome treats were a nice touch. Lovely soft towelling robes. Staff very friendly and helpful. Safe in room very useful. Nice little bar and restaurant.

Housekeeping a bit hit and miss. Tea and coffee not replenished after first day. Reception were, however, happy to supply some extra coffee pods when asked. Two teabags for a four night stay not great. Bathtowels sometimes changed, even if they were hung back on rails, other times only hand towels changed.

Our room was amazing. Large, with two small balconies overlooking the beach. There was plenty of storage for our clothes. Large bathroom with separate toilet. The staff are very friendly. We enjoyed having drinks at the bar. The location is excellent. Easy access to beach and close to the Old Nice section.

Breakfast was a bit lacking. It was a buffet, like most places, but things were not set out in a way that was conducive to finding what you wanted easily. The plates and cutlery were hard to spot, and the food was spread out in such a large area. There also wasn't much of anything for such a large space. What there was, you had to prepare yourself. Making your own toast is normal at a breakfast buffet. Boiling your own eggs is not. My husband thought he was grabbing a hard- boiled egg only to break a raw egg on his food plate. Only afterwards, when we went specifically looking for it, did we spot a tub of water where you were supposed to cook your own egg. We had breakfast at cafés for the rest of our stay.
