Room was perfect, just like the photos. Location is excellent! Essentially right on the promenade and very close to tram stops to the airport or to get further into the city. Host was really nice, we were lucky as when we arrived (about 5 hours before check in), the host allowed us to store luggage in our room but he also allowed us to use the room (uncleaned, someone had just left) for the luggage storage and to have a quick bathroom break & freshen up. The unclean room did not bother us, we knew it would be cleaned for use once check in time came around. This is the extra touch that is so welcomed for backpackers like us!

There was building works on our streret which was loud at times, we were not warned in advance

The property was in a fantastic location, directly across from the famous Negresco hotel. Supermarkets, pharmacies and laundromat within a couple of minutes walk and the station a 10-15 min walk. Two minute walk to the stunning beach. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Room service daily if you want it. The room was also nice and quiet.

There is only a curtain in place of a door to the bathroom/toilet. It is also a studio room in an apartment block, not a hotel complex, not that that bothered us one bit.

The location is excellent, with daily room service and the option to request fresh towels whenever needed. Nico, the host, is very kind and incredibly helpful. The property offers parking in a nearby garage at a reasonable price, which is very important if you travel by car.

First of all, there's an ongoing issue with the sliding bathroom door that should have been fixed long ago. I noticed that guests before us mentioned the same problem in their reviews. The cleanliness could also be improved; we found paper napkins under the bed and a lot of hair on the floor. There are no facilities for drying swimsuits and towels, as our room didn't have a balcony or a French window with a rail.

Lovely little apartment. It’s part of a small hotel, all on one floor. Feels like a cross between an air bnb and a regular hotel. Apartment was modern and clean. Kitchen well equipped. Free beach towels and coffee pods a plus. Damien the manager is lovely and responsive. Location perfect. One street back from the beach. Heaps of restaurants and shops nearby. 15 minutes’ walk to the old town. Lively area but not too busy. Reasonable price.

Sensor pads on the induction cook top are tricky. Could put instructions on the wall so guests don’t get confused. Need to double check kitchen utensils are stocked. Bathroom door is clunky and doesn’t close properly. Late checkout would have been nice since it’s advertised, and we had a 4pm flight. Understand it’s not always possible but given the 4-hour gap between check-in and checkout, I would have thought something could be offered. Even 1 hour would have been helpful. All minor things and would still recommend Lido to anyone staying in Nice, particularly given the location. Just opportunities for improvement and the difference between an 8 vs a 10.

The location was great, right behind Negresco hotel, near art museums, so close to the beach, surrounded by breathtaking views full of palms right near it. The building was alright. The rooms were pretty! I took pictures in the mirror daily, the window was wide and I got fresh air. The bathroom was spacious. A big room for one person. All clean. I was asked if I needed anything multiple times, new towels, sheets, paper, anything at all. They stuff is very welcoming, friendly, caring. They are helpful and didn't judge me at all for not knowing how to speak french. They greeted me each time. Made me feel safe in the hotel.

nothing, everything was great! It was just a bit cold as I travelled at the beginning of February and didn't bring warmer clothes but I'm sure that the rooms are even better for summer time when it's really sunny outside.

Before the arrival at the hotel we received two codes to get into the flat and then we were welcomed and picked up the keys to our room. The room was very nice, clean and we had a nice view. The location was great - a beach is 5 minutes away from the hotel, public transport is close by, there are many shops, pharmacies, bakeries very close to the hotel (all within a 5 minute walk). The hotel staff was very kind and helpful.

The only thing I didn't like was the size of the bathroom as it was very small for two women - although it did not bother us in any way!

The location is very central, the room is very nice if you stay for a few days. The staff is very kind, they even gave us a map of the city explaining the main tourist attractions. They even delivered the room before the agreed Chech In. Very friendly staff.

For a few days the room is fine, but the bathroom is really small. I didn't have any problems other than space to dry. And it would be nice if there was also a drying rack since we didn't know where to dry our costumes. The cleanliness, although it initially seemed excellent, we found hair in the shower and some on the pillows. The weak point of the structure is certainly the small bathroom and partially the cleanliness of the rooms.

I really enjoyed my stay. I liked that there were many different coffee capsules, tea, and even cocoa available. It was also great that beach mats and towels were provided. The staff was very friendly, and I appreciated that they allowed a late check-out.

The only downside was an unpleasant smell coming from the shower drain, but this might be related to the building itself rather than the hotel.

Nice window view and a pretty staffed room.

Dore to the toilet was rider without actual sound proving. Unfortunately, the corridor door was also very tin and everything behind it was clearly audible.

The appartment is in one of the best possible parts of the city: 1 min to the beach (just behind Hotel Negresco), 15 min walk to Place Massena and no more than 13 min walking distance to the railway station where you can take the train to Cannes, Antibe, Monaco, Menton, etc. Or you can rent a car fro visiting beautiful villages around.

A higher tolerance to normal noice in a hotel is requested.
