Breakfast is not really exceptional,

The orientation of the room and the fact the hotel advertise the swimming pool that you discover once arrived it must be paid 30 Euro per person, per hour, only if space is available...

Good central location for touring various towns on the Riviera. Nice view of the ocean and the Promenade from the room. Upscale atmosphere. Good breakfast buffet.

Water should be plentiful and flowing freely in such a hot and humid area. Tiny bottles aren't even full size and cost $6.00 euros.. At our Paris hotel they left two large jars of water every day. Probably just filtered tap water but in the heat of August you need lots of water. I was sick with heat exhaustion one day in Nice. Came back to the room and no water because we had taken the one free tiny bottle with us in the morning. There was a heat advisory warning that day.Brutal intense sun here. Not a place to be miserly with the water.

It's my third stay in that hotel so far. Well positioned across from English Promenade and facing sea, close enough to main areas of interest but with less party noise. Public car parking and e-bike spot just next door. It looks like hotel was renovated not so long ago, so rooms are not as run-down as in other 5* places around and have modern fittings. Room was reasonably spacious for Nice, but don't expect Dubai style size. It is well maintained with all necessary amenities present and refilled daily. Staff at reception were friendly and helpful and not just at check-in/out times, helped with luggage and few other things.

Soundproofing could be better to say the least. I could hear people talking in adjoining room like they were next to me. We also had a daily issue with our safety box that had to be unlocked by a technician.

The staff is very nice and friendly. The room is good in size, clean. Wonderful location. Great view of the embankment and the sea. Excellent bed. Good choice of TV channels.

There is a slight but noticeable musty smell in the room. And there are very few sockets in the room.

Helpful and welcoming front desk and assistance staff! Answered all our questions from tip info (that I requested) to parking directions, to gas station location. Staff helped with luggage upon arrival - a real plus! We were always greeted coming and going. Great breakfast.

There is nothing we didn't like. The following are just suggestions (not complaints): Room coffee. Instant coffee isn't good. Maybe a Krup or small drip coffee. Maybe more hanging hooks in the bathroom; great towels, but not many hooks for other items. Related to above, a place to hang wet swimming items so they can dry and not drip on the carpeted floor. Really, though, these are minor. The room and stay were excellent.

I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend it to others. My room was newly renovated and had excellent sea view rooms.

I don’t like that the price of the spa isn’t included with the rooms

We visited with our two children. It was a wonderful stay all around. We did not find every place in France to be welcoming of our young children, but the hotel and it's staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and smiled / interacted with the kids. Unfortunately, this is not a common practice in Paris / Nice despite people claiming families are welcome. We sat at the hotel bar one afternoon waiting for our ride back to the train station (which the hotel completely arranged) and the bartender was particularly good with the kids. We' d have no hesitation staying here again!

Excellent choice of breakfast. Good customer service from staff. Very comfy bed. Good location.

Disappointed to have to pay extra to use pool and steam, 25 euros for an hour is a bit steep as usually included free for hotel guests.

Rooms were comfortable and lots of space. Bathroom also large and clean. Shutters great for total black out and enjoyed being able to open window for fresh air. Hotel situated right on the beautiful promenade. Short walk to old town.

Surprised that such a hotel had no dressing gowns and slippers? Once out of the shower I was freezing with nothing to keep me warm. Strange to have the first day complimentary water and then all other days you pay for your water. Not appropriate for a 4 star hotel. Would also appreciate hair conditioner in the shower. This is often missing in many hotels these days.

The comfort of the room. Balcony looking to the mountains and to the Promenade. Excellent breakfast room and choice of food/drink. Excellent staff - ,friendly obliging. Beautiful bed and spotless bedding.

The bath/shower was a let-down. The shower was an overbath arrangement. The bath was very high and quite difficult to get into . My husband is 81 and I was coming up to 79 years of age. The shower head leaked all around the rim of the bath. The taps on the sinks also leaked. A bathroom fit for a refurb I feel. I also was not keen on the fact that you had to leave the separate toilet and go into the bathroom to wash your hands.
