We really liked the hotel's location — it is situated between the sea and the train station, and the city center is very close by. The staff deserves a special mention. We were checked in in the morning, which was very convenient. The room was always cleaned well, and the breakfasts were delicious. Overall, we were completely satisfied with our stay. I highly recommend it!

Unfortunately, there were a few things we didn't like about the room. The old carpet made it look untidy, and the towels appeared worn out. We were also disappointed by the lack of even basic toiletries.

Perfect location - equidistant from beach/town/train station in a very nice and quiet district. We had a king suite with a huge outside terrace, which added huge value to our stay. On our budget we had the choice of this room at a somewhat less fancier hotel, or a lesser room at a fancier place. Our decision definitely worked out well for us travelling with kids

Extremely rude employee at the reception desk. We asked for blanket since our suite’s pull out sofa did not have one. The employee who we assume was a manager insisted there was one and said she will show us. She was so argumentative over a blanket in stating the hotel didn’t have anymore. Really? A hotel with no more blankets? After this insane back and forth, a very nice gentleman went and brought a freshly wrapped blanket to us. This was a spirited exchange over a blanket request. Each time we saw this manager she would exchange obvious looks with her coworkers in our direction. It was so disappointing to see the unprofessional approach in handling an issue. The other hotel staff were so professional and polite.

Excellent location and reasonable priced for all the amenities included. Very close walk to the beach, the train station and shops. The Suite room on the 9th floor was very comfortable, with a private terrace to see the city and the beach. The bed was a King bed and on the adjacent open room a sofa cama for my children. The main bathroom had a big bathtub and the room had a separate toilet that the kids could use. There was a Lavazza machine that I used every afternoon. I opted to have the breakfast at the hotel which had a variety of options from a la carte eggs, cakes, hot and cold drinks, fruit, bakes, fresh French bread, ect. The associates working at the front desk where always very friendly. On the last day, I left my luggage on hold at the reception and was not charged. I recommend this hotel and will stay here again when I visit Nice.

I use a stick, and as there was no slip mat provided in the bath I could not risk standing in a slippery bath for a shower or sitting in the bath. When I asked for a mat, the reply was not at all satisfactory. We have never been asked for one, was the answer. Well, it is about time you provided them for any one who is disabled in any way and does not want to risk falling, and your hotel being sued. The stopper in the sink also did not close properly.

We had a fantastic stay at the Holiday Inn Nice. The hotel is in a lovely neighborhood, surrounded by excellent local restaurants that feel refreshingly authentic (untouristy). Their own restaurant was also a highlight—especially the carbonara, which was properly authentic and a positive surprise. The location is ideal: just a comfortable walk to both the beach and the train station, making it easy to explore Nice and the surrounding area. What really stood out, though, was the professionalism and hospitality of the staff. Every interaction was warm, helpful, and efficient—they made us feel truly welcome throughout our stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a well-situated, well-run hotel with genuine service and a strong local feel

We most especially love the location of the hotel its so central and close to everything. Best hotel to base yourself on if you are planning to explore the French Riviera. The room is spacious for the standard of a European hotel. Parking is available beside the hotel - a very gracious front office team member named Madina (I think) and a gentleman who also works in the front office assisted us in getting a 5-day package in the parking which was a breeze for us and a great value. It did save us money. We will certainly return and will happily stay in this hotel on our next visit. Very well recommended.

The breakfast selection and how its cooked and prepared can be improved. But there are boulangerie walking distance from the hotel as an alternative.

It's very conveniently located on a quiet street, just 2 minutes away from the Jean Medicin tram stop, which is ideal for using tram no. 2 to connect with the airport. I didn't need to go to the train station but that's nearby too. The city center is within an easily walkable distance - about 10 minutes to the Place Massena. The room was very comfortable and quiet. There's a water dispenser in the lobby which you use to fill your water bottle. There is tea and coffee making facility in the room. The staff is very nice and helpful. I would gladly stay there again.

The breakfast buffet is quite good but could use some variety, especially in the warm dishes, as it gets boring to have the same things everyday if you stay for more than 2 days.

The room was big enough to stay with four people. Also the terrace was wonderful to see the city. Location is also wonderful and we managed to get to the hotel by tram very easily because the tram stop Jean Médecin is near the hotel, about 4-5 minutes on foot.

Breakfast was almost the same every day and nothing special. Our room has a bubble bath, but when I turned on the button to the bubble, a water stain-like substance came out with the bubbles. So I didn't used it again during our stay.

The hotel was one of the best Ive visited. People on reception were extremely welcoming and friendly. The room had a huge bed, beautiful view and, most importantly, a bath. I enjoyed my stay very much, and would recommend it to anyone. Location is also great, right next to tram station. A big mall is in 5 min walking distance, lots of restaurants and other hotels nearby. Definately visit Oscar restaurant, around 7 min walk, that was the best one in the neighborhood.

I dont know why, but its a weird trend nowadays to not put a toilet brush in the bathroom... Also, breakfast could be improved. Right now there is not even a single vegetable, come on, its not that expensive or difficult...
