Loved the old-world charm of this hotel. Comfortable room, comfortable bed with very large terrace complete with table and chairs including two lounge chairs. Terrace had a wide view of the sea. Bountiful breakfast with a variety of choices. Friendly, professional, and helpful staff, who helped us resolve a problem with our booking. Great location within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and sights. Would definitely come back.

Traffic noise during the day - property is located on main street along the beach. However, traffic died down after sunset and was very quiet thereafter - got a good night's sleep.

The owner was very friendly and helpful and the room was quiet with a good shower and comfortable bed. The hotel is almost seafront but a short walk along to a place I could swim.

I stayed in a garden room with a little outside patio area but couldn’t leave the door or window open because of the truly vicious mosquitoes - and because the window was tiny and high up and both that and the door opaque glass couldn’t see out either. Insect screens might be helpful.

The extremely friendly staff makes you feel welcome right from the start in this cosy, comfortable and well located hotel.

There is nothing I did not like. The only recommendation I would make is to improve the wifi connection. It didn’t always work very well, at least in our room, and teenagers need their wifi like the air that they breathe ;-)

The hotel is a little tired around the edges and the room was quite small making it challenging to fit in the two suitcases we had. Make sure you remember to reserve parking in front - there is public parking directly opposite but it is a little inconvenient needing to remember to renew that evert 3 hours.

The location right opposite the beach was fantastic, with amazing views across the sea from our room. The breakfast was awesome and plentiful.

Sitting on the terrace was lovely but there was quite a lot of road noise. However, once inside with the windows closed the noise was minimal and did not disturb our sleep.

The room was cool, thanks to the air conditioning, and cute. A twin bed and two singles and a small bathroom which was well equipped. The staff were friendly and gave recommendations. Even though it is on a road we were undisturbed. Clean, small, basic but fresh.

Room had very comfy bed, plenty of space for unpacking & bathroom had loads of shelf room. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Good breakfast. I had little balcony to sit out on. Handy for station & supermarket. Would definitely stay there again.

Very clean, bed was very comfortable. Good shower. Excellent breakfast. Great position close to seafront and some amazing restaurants. Free overnight parking opposite hotel but needs to be vacated by 8.30am otherwise need to pay. Fantastic location and value for overnight stay. Staff very helpful. Town itself very interesting.

Standard room booked. Absolutely fine for overnight stay but if booking for a holiday would upgrade as room very small. Hairdryer only available from reception on request.

The location was close to the train and especially a bus stop. The view was nice despite the rain. The staff was really nice. The bed was super comfortable. Though there was traffic just below, the windows shut out most of the noise. I was not disturbed at all.

The Wi-Fi was lacking but that really didn’t matter too much.

Excellent hotel. Beach is across the road. Very friendly and helpful staff! Delicious breakfast. Nice garden with shadow to hide from midday heat. Lots of restaurants near by. Bus stop near by. Good air con! Thank you for great holiday!
