Hotel Lemon offers typically French accommodation which is run efficiently by friendly hosts. Our room was of adequate size with a comfortable bed and well designed bathroom. The hotel is close to the centre of town and train and bus links are nearby. The buffet breakfast available provides a good variety of different food and drink options.

The floor of our wardrobe and underneath drawer needed cleaning on our arrival (otherwise excellent cleaning!) A kettle would have been useful (though we brought our own!)

A lovely little hotel in an ideal location to explore Menton and the surrounding area. Easy to get to from Nice airport and easy to visit Monaco / other beautiful areas on the Cote D'Azur. The hotel is very close (4 minutes) to the train station and then just a 5 minute walk to the beach. No car needed! The owner was very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean, beds were comfortable, aircon great. Our beds were made daily, bin emptied and toilet roll topped up. There were parasols and beach mats to borrow for the beach, The little courtyard garden was lovely to sit in. We had breakfast one morning and there was everything you needed from eggs, cheese, bread, croissants to fruit and yoghurts. Menton is beautiful and you could dine out at a different restaurant everyday, so many to choose from. Beautiful patisserie's and fantastic coffee.

Couldn't fault this hotel. Its a 2 star so no fridge / kettle / hairdryers / bar / lounges etc but if you're after a clean, comfy, authentic hotel then this place is perfect!

This was a charming place for a short stay in Menton. Ultra close to the train station and easily walkable to the old town and all the happenings in the area. This family-run hotel was very clean and the bed was super comfy. Love the interior decor too which looks recently renovated. Although there is no lift, the team allowed us to store our large luggages downstairs. I am particularly grateful to the team for accommodating my circumstances from an earlier booking error.

Unique character, high level of cleanliness, kind staff (who responded to my poor French with grace and humor) and brilliant location. The breakfast room is v pretty and there are towels and parasols for the beach! We also appreciated the garden as an additional space to eat lunch / dinner (from bakery and rated take away pizza). The best type of family hotel.

It was perfect.

The hotel was very easy to walk to from Menton station. I loved the decor in the hotel and that there was a garden for guests; use. The breakfast was excellent with a wide choice and emphasis on local and organic produce. Excellent value for money.

Nothing, really. I did notice that some of the paintwork needed refreshing and that there was only a sheet as a bed cover - perhaps there could have been a light duvet in the wardrobe?

Beautifully decorated and spacious room. Gorgeous garden with lemon trees and lots of tables and chairs. Excellent location for nipping to the beach and exploring Menton. The staff were supremely welcoming too.

I hesitate to criticise, but we would have loved a kettle.

Lovely traditional French house with sweet garden. Very helpful staff. Very near station.

Not very close to shops, restaurants and historic city but then it was hot. Beach only 5 - 7 minutes away and LE Petit Resto in a must.

Convenient location, close to the train station. The room is comfortable enough for a solo traveler. Clean. Friendly staff.

Shower in the bathroom is too small.

It was an excellent location if you travel by public transportation. In addition the city center is 15 minutes by foot. Sum up It is a perfect place if you would like to discover the cote d'azure with backpack. Kind and helpful hosts
