I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel Gabriel Menton. The room was much more spacious than I expected, and it was beautifully decorated with a modern and cozy feel — really inviting and comfortable. Everything was super clean and well taken care of. The staff were absolutely lovely — very welcoming from the moment I arrived, and always friendly and helpful throughout my stay. They made me feel really looked after and gave great recommendations for places to see and eat nearby. The location is great too — close to the beach and just a short walk from the center, but still in a quiet area which was perfect for relaxing. Plus, the breakfast was really good — fresh, delicious, and the perfect way to start the day. I really enjoyed my time here and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

I really loved everything

I stayed one night at Hotel Gabriel in Menton and had a wonderful experience. The location is ideal—peaceful but still close to the town center and the beach, making it easy to explore the charm of Menton on foot. The room was clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. I especially appreciated the cozy bed and the quiet atmosphere, which made for a restful night. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast—beautifully presented with a variety of fresh and delicious options. It was the perfect way to start the day, enjoyed in a bright and welcoming setting. The staff were kind and attentive, making check-in and check-out a breeze. I would happily return to Hotel Gabriel for a longer stay and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Menton.

Absolutely loved this gem of a hotel, I'm so glad that I booked. The Hotel has had a refurb and new owners who were so accommodating and friendly. The Lavender Room is a small sized room but is just the right size for a single person. The bed is hands down the best bed I have slept in! It was extremely comfortable. The location of the hotel is perfect to get to everything. You are literally within 5 minutes to Old Town, Restaurants, shops and the beach.

If I had to be super picky, the only things I would change/add are: New pillows, these felt a little uncomfortable and a little more space to put your clothes. I stayed for 6 nights, and there wasn't much room (in the room I stayed in) to hang clothes or even take them out of your luggage. I didn't care too much, but someone who might like to unpack, there's not really anywhere for your clothes.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Anything you needed they attended to, even restaurant recommendations. The room was bright and cheerful, with lots of places to put your things. The beds were comfortable. The room was neat, clean and quiet. The bathroom was spacious and had everything you needed. Tea and coffee were available in the room. We had a balcony with two chairs, and it was nice to sit out. Close to the train station, restaurants and beach. Very nice area. At reception you could get a drink and sit outside, or take it to your room. The room was clean and had everything you needed. The breakfast was tasty. Poached eggs, meat, cheese, bakery items, cereal, coffee, and tea. I'd recommend this small, boutique hotel.

The chairs outside could have been more comfortable, but that was a small thing. There was really nothing else. It was a lovely stay.

Located just at the start of the Old Town area, which is excellent for tourists wanting to explore the area. It is also located right in front of the Regional Prehistoric museum on a wide, well designed street with fountains in the centre! It is in a quiet location away from the main road with traffic which can be noisy given the fast cars that people love to drive here. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower head was lovely too. It also has a mini fridge which is rare to find, and a coffee machine.

The room was tiny - 'cosy'- so it might be difficult for a couple to open and manage their suitcases. I was alone which was fine. You could also hear your neighbours at times, which wasn't ideal, but manageable.

This boutique hotel was in an excellent location. The room was lovely and comfortable. The only downside was the lack of shelves/drawers for clothes & underwear, as there was only a open unit with 5 hangers for trousers. It The room could do with 3 shelves on the wall, without taking room space. The bathroom was good and the shower worked perfectly. The tower rail was very useful.

As I said above, the room (52) could do with some shelves for clothes- tops an underwear, etc - as there was no room to put these other than on the top of the fridge unit. Other than that, great. Lovely room.

Our visit to Menton was the highlight of our Cote d’Azur holiday, and staying at Hotel Gabriel was the best choice we made, I am thrilled I found this gem of a boutique hotel! Fantastic little hotel just a few mins walk from everything, beach is just a couple of blocks away. Easy walking from Menton train station. Colourful and tasty beach vibe interior, great power shower, excellent wifi, and beds so comfortable you don’t wanna get up. I loved the flooring in the room, and the chic kettle & Nespresso machine. Top score for the choice of interior decorating! Absolutely gorgeous! The staff is top notch, so wonderful, thanks to lovely Jora and Julia at the front desk for making our stay memorable and special.

The hotel has been redecorated. So it has a very fresh feeling. It's in an excellent location, as it's quiet (though it might be very noisy when it's warm as there is a door that opens onto a little somewhat private patio that opens onto a much larger patio) because away from the street sweepers. I arrived just before 3pm and was not allowed in my room. But the receptionist recommended a wonderful cafe just down at the end of the slope down on the Rue de la Republique. Very glad for that recommendation!!

The room seems to have been designed for a young couple on a short stay: small and cozy! There was no room for a big suitcase.

The hotel is charming. The second you walk in, you are greeted with vibrant colors and a cozy reception. The interior design gave my fiance and me the feeling of being in a mid-century modern atmosphere with a contemporary touch. After checking in, the receptionist, a delightful and informative young woman, showed us the premises and the shared amenities. Our room was wonderful. Upon entering, we felt immediately relaxed and knew: this is a place where we could wind down after a long day of exploring. Everything was immaculate and clean. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. We felt right at home. The breakfast buffet was delicious. There was a variety of different cold cuts, cheese, and bread offered. Soft- and hard-boiled eggs are offered and prepared upon your request. Furthermore, a plethora of different types of cereal ( muesli), nuts, and other condiments to go with joghurt were made readily available. To quench your thirst, fresh milk, juices, and coffee ( from an automatic machine) are at your disposal. The two young women who managed the buffet were delightful and very accommodating. We enjoyed our quick stay at the hotel and are already planning our next stay.

Very nice, newly renovated hotel in an excellent location. additionally I was welcomed with a very tasty breakfast, artisan products, menu with a touch of citrus, which is signature for Menton. Traveling is food experience too, so I’ve enjoyed having something else rather then I used to have in dozens of other hotels. I appreciate the personalized accessories and colors that harmonize with the architecture of the city. Thank you and best regards!
