1. It was close to many of the attractions in Paris, either through walking or taking the metro. The metro was located right outside the hotel so this was very convenient, even to and from the airport. 2. The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. 3. The hotel was clean in all aspects, and the bed was very comfortable. 4. I booked this hotel in advanced, and considering that it was in Paris city centre this was value for money as other hotels were more expensive.

1. Although the room sizes were small, however for solo travellers I don’t think it would be a problem - if more than 2 people book a larger room. 2. Although the breakfast was tasty, it would be great having more options. I really enjoyed the bread, pastries and assortments.

It was a twin room at the last floor, with enough space, a large bathroom with modern shower, mini fridge, smart tv. It was a quiet room with very comfortable beds and linen. I think that the Eiffel Tower could be seen from the rooms on the other side of the hotel, but we wanted a quiet room, not on the street. We could see the Montparnasse Tower from the window. A 10 min walk to Montparnasse station. The metro station is very near (across the street) and the bus station is in front of the hotel. You can reach the Eiffel Tower in 15 - 20 minutes max. There are a lot of restaurants and places to eat or to shop for food or other necessary things. The lady that welcomed us helped us with a map of the city and with other advice. There was a coffee machine at the ground but I didn't use it.

The first evening, the mini fridge and the tv didn't work anymore because of the power outlet, but things got back to normal quickly. The window needs some improvement.

The location was perfect because it’s close to the Gare Montparnasse. The hotel is pleasant and the room was rather clean and quiet. The staff were polite and helpful. The bed and the bedding were comfortable. Safe luggage storage after checking out. The Metro is less than a five minute walk, and there’s a bus stop just outside the hotel.

Breakfast wasn’t outstanding - it was okay, but the quality of the baguette, the pastries and the cheeses available could be improved. Having fresh fruit available would be nice, as well as a greater variety of fruit compotes and lactose free yogurt.

I liked just about everything about my stay here. The en-suite room was spotless with lovely beds in the mansard roof and a wonderful view of the city (see picture). The hotel is a short walk from Gare de Montparnasse. The green metro line is right outside and goes 2km to the Bir-Hakeim bridge (from the film Inception) right on the Seine just 200m from the Eiffel Tower. Great for a one night stopover.

The spiral stairs are tight – but it's a wonderful old building so I would not change that. It's worth noting however.

Great location. Restaurant next door was excellent for drinks and dinner. Wi-fi was great. Staff friendly and helpful. Very close to Gare Montparnasse which we had to get to early in the morning.

The hotel room was very small. The breakfast was supposed to have eggs and cooked meat, but at 9.15 the eggs looked they had been baking for a few hours and did not look appetising, nor did the cooked sausages. Very expensive for what it was, unfortunately. 18 Euros - $55 AUD was too much to pay for breakfast.

we were given a balcony room, beds were super comfortable, bathrooms were nice, everything was very clean. we were told having a balcony room would be a little bit noisy but to us it wasn’t. very quiet. it’s located right next to the metro so attractions were easy to go to. people here complained it was small, but i’m a short person so for me it wasn’t inconvenient. we stayed for 6 nights here and we would absolutely would stay again.

nothing really, sometimes the key card wouldn’t work but staff would resolve it quickly.

Amazing location! Right on the corner where you have a view of the Eiffel Tower! With that being said, it’s maybe a 25-30 min walk to the Eiffel Tower and a scenic one at that! 15 min walk to Montparnasse! The room and bathroom were very spacious and the beds were super comfortable! The view from our window was gorgeous where at night we could smell the delicious food from the restaurant next door so much so that we went down and had dinner there!

Outstanding hotel. Excellent location near Gare Montparnasse (10 min walk) and 2 min away from Pasteur metro stop. With it, one can directly reach most of the spots one needs in Paris. The room was small but has a well thought out layout and was well equipped. It had a small minibar, a kettle, a safe for your valuables, a tv, enough wardrobe space to store your things, nice clean bathroom and power plugs on both sides of bedstand. Honestly, the room felt bigger than it was. The bed was comfortable, clean and nice. The housekeeping did a great job keeping it clean and tidy. The reception and overall service of the staff were amazing. One of the best service staff I've met so far, always happy and engaged to say Bonjour or Bonsoir when one enters from front entrance of the hotel. Also, they handled one of my requests quite well and in a timely manner. Check-in and check out were super smooth.

Nothing. Some guests may find annoying that the stairs are narrow and the elevator is small and goes to between floors, e.g, between the 2nd and 3rd floor, so one needs to ascend or descend. But that is expected when staying in a more older district of Paris.

The location is great with a close access to public transportation and to many landmarks in Paris. Bus stop is outside the front door and metro station is less than 1 minute away. The room is clean with air conditioning which is an exception in the hot summer of Paris. Staff were so friendly and polite. I enjoyed the talk with them. The frond desk staff were so helpful and friendly. They answered all my questions and provided great support.

Facility is not the best and room is small, but acceptable comparing other accommodations in Paris.

The room was exactly as pictured. Very comfortable. The staff were so lovely and helpful and let me leave my luggage at the end of my stay for the day. It also had 24hr check in. The best part was it was in a very cute part of town and in less than a 2 min walk to the metro which links you the whole of Paris (easiest way to get around). If you want to walk you are 30 mins to the Eiffel Tower or Musee D'Orsay. There is a restaurant just next door which was also delicious.

The room was a little loud with street noise but once asleep it didn't wake me up.
