We recently stayed at this hotel and overall, had a pleasant experience. While the location is a bit farther from the main attractions, it’s still within the ring and very well connected to public transport, making it easy to get around. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the staff was friendly and super welcoming throughout our stay - special thanks to Thibault! The breakfast was quite nice, with a good variety of options, though the coffee machine could use an upgrade. Despite these minor issues, the overall experience was good, and I would still consider staying here again given the great location and comfortable amenities.

When we first entered our room, it was quite cold (around 19°C), and it took a few hours for the heating to warm things up. Another issue was the cleanliness of the toilet; there were noticeable water stains on the closet, which wasn’t ideal. It is an old building, and the isolation wasn’t great – we could hear people walking and talking in the hallway. Also, on the last morning of our stay, the cleaning staff started working in other rooms on the same floor around 9am. Even though we were already up and on our way to breakfast, this could have been a problem for those who wanted to sleep more.

Very comfortable beds (mattress, pillows, duvets), quiet street and safe area, excellent staff, ample and tasty breakfast for all appetites. Nice details like a regularly-filled water carafe and high-quality bathroom products. The continental part of the breakfast was outstanding (the cooked, American-style option was not as good, but it's nice that they try to accommodate different tastes). Such details do make a good impression, but for us, the most important thing by far in a hotel is knowing that we'll have a good night's sleep - we've spent a few too many nights in hotels with fancy decor but appallingly hard or old mattresses! COQ's mattresses were superb. The second most important factor for us is feeling safe, and here again, COQ passed with flying colours, so we will come back here for sure. The location is quiet and convenient (Place d'Italie has 3 metro lines and umpteen bus lines), and there are plenty of dining options if you walk more than a block. I don't understand other reviewers who complained about the location. It's 15 minutes from the centre!

The room was a bit smaller than the pictures indicated, which might be an issue if you need to store a lot of stuff or there are more than 2 of you. The bathtub with curtains, while beautiful, is not very practical (water goes everywhere when you use it to shower) - this is probably more personal preference, though, since I know a lot of people like the 'wet room' thing.

Stayed in 4 hotels whilst touring France - 3 out of 4 were outstanding and this little gem received our top rating. Why? A number of reasons. Extremely warm welcome from the staff, the room was quiet, clean and had an amazing shower and a comfortable bed. The reception team also allowed us to check in early - with a smile!!! Looks a little out of the way but there is a Metro station with 3 different lines just 5 minutes walk away and there are plenty of good places to eat nearby. On the subject of food COG was simply the best - great breakfast served by very friendly staff. We saved the best till last - COQ Paris, take a bow. We would recommend this hotel to anyone - good value as well.

The staff members were exceptional and friendly; one even offered me her own bandaid when I requested one. The room was charming and beautifully decorated. Although we didn’t have breakfast, the settings and aromas each morning were warm and inviting. Additionally, the location is just a two-minute walk from the metro station. I would definitely come back again.

If I had to choose one issue, it would be the thickness of the walls. They were not as soundproof as we had expected, and we could clearly hear the morning cleaning activities and doors closing. However, this shouldn't be a problem if you tend to wake up early, before the usual morning cleaning schedule begins.

Front desk staff are excellent, very helpful. Compact quiet room had an VG bed. View across the street and old school gives a nice view of area. Was on 5, so scored a small balcony>>Used as a fridge. Location is very useful. @ Blocks to to Place d Italie with its restaurants, Metro connections, etc. Nearby Gym is Drop in 10E. Room door solid helped cut down hall and elevator noise

Classic room dimensions are typical "tight" for Paris Boutique. Move with care. Desk Chair seat cushion was old and failing, Unfortunately walls appear to be thinner than one would wish. Noisy TV late the one night. No room Fridge. Elevator a lil slow on occasion. Unfortunately Hotel staff upset when they prompted a review and I indicated they were going to get an 8. I don't give 10's, plus it is a boutique hotel with limited amenities.

We had a wonderful stay at the C.O.Q Hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Thibault, who was so kind and gave us some great recommendations for places to eat nearby. All of the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly – a special thank you to Louis, Julie, and Majda, who all went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Our room was lovely, with a very comfortable bed, and we loved enjoying our morning coffee out on the little balcony. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious, and I really appreciated being able to help myself to coffee in the cozy lounge downstairs. We also had a great time playing the range of board games and cards they have available – such a thoughtful touch! All in all, it was a fantastic stay and we can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!

The hotel was just beautiful. It was uniquely decorated in such a cozy and inviting manner. We felt so comfortable there our whole stay. The staff really went out of their way to make out stay the best. Thibault and Medy Majda were so friendly, answered all our questions and attended to any requests or issues we had in such a timely manner. I really appreciate the level of outstanding customer service at C.O.Q. Hotel. It makes such a difference when visiting another country.

There really is nothing negative to say about the hotel. My experience was overall wonderful.

This is our second time staying at C.O.Q. hotel, we absolutely love staying here when we come to Paris. The staff are so warm, welcoming and accommodating. Special thanks to Thibault,, Majda and Louis for always looking out for us. The rooms are well styled with an incredibly comfy bed. Nuxe product in the bathroom and a lovely balcony to sip our Chablis in the sun. Thank you, we shall see you again next time.

The over aesthetic was pleasing and the decor was well thought out to meet the vibe of the hotel. We felt very welcomed, to the point of being offered a glass of wine gratuit when we arrived. - Also the bathtub was huge and deep!! Neat balcony and windows, when you look very very carefully, you can spot the Eiffel Tower. Good location for ORLY airport and the property was kind enough to send instructions beforehand.

The only thing I didn't like was that the attendant cleaning the room just unlocked the door without knocking - luckily we were clothed ;) Also, the fire alarm went off at 10am and no one called to say whether it was a false alarm or just a bit of toast that set off the alarm.
