It's basic hotel with very friendly and welcoming personnel. It was always a pleasure to interact with them. The room I booked was a little bit smaller than I expected but it's totally fine if you're a solo traveller or don't plan to spend much time there. The building is old but well-kept and it's visible the hotel is being taken care of. The main advantage is the location - this arrondissement is one of my favourite districts to stay in Paris as it's a street-art museum under the open sky with lots of beautiful murals all around, you just need to look for them. It's very quiet and safe at night with convenient proximity to other places and lots of great restaurants, bakeries and grocery stores around as well as different means of transportation. And the price-value ratio of this hotel truly stands out. I also liked that the hotel takes care about sustainability and offers option not to change towels every day and reduce the frequency of cleanings if needed.

Having a teapot in the room would be helpful, I would assume it's possible to get one at the reception I just didn't ask.

The room was large enough to walk around the bed, with a little desk and a wardrobe. The room was bright even though only on the 2nd floor so I was happily surprised. The blackout curtains worked well and allow me to sleep in when I wanted to. Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. All the staff I saw were very polite and friendly. Definitely a great value for the price.

The walls between rooms are quite thin so I could hear the neighbors when they listened to TV a bit loud or have a long distance phone call.

I like that it's close to the bus and metro stations. That there's a café, restaurant and a bar nearby. Even McDonald's and KFC are so near both just outside the Metro station. Rooms are clean and quite enough for a solo traveler like me, though I had to open my large luggage on the floor since there's not enough space. The toilet is cramped but workable. Very basic hotel amenities. There's a lift enough for me and my large luggage. Breakfast at €10 is good enough, I guess, coffee, a croissant, a bagguette, cereals, yogurt, and some marmalades. I had a good sleep in a comfortable mattress with fresh linen sheets. The all-gentlemen reception staff speak English well and are friendly.

My room had thin walls that I could hear people walking and shutting their doors outside. I could hear people walking on the next level above me. When windows are open, loud street noise could be irritating, especially late at night with passers-by talking loudly or that round the clock, ambulance, and police sirens.

Excellent service attitude (in English), very clean rooms, small & cozy, felt very safe, just perfect for single traveller. Breakfast was simple but ohhhh the whole pot of fresh grounded coffee and perfect baguette was a great start for my day.

Very small elevator, I am quite tiny so it was ok for me, but would be difficult for big people. But the elevator was working well so no worries on that 😂

The people that work here were so nice to me, they helped with everything. There is a really good bakery/pastry shop next to it. It is close to good restaurants, and to Metro and bus stops. My room was really clean and the bed was comfy. It is in a safe neighborhood. After check-out you can leave your suitcase there so you don't have to bring it with you through the city.

Walls are way too thin. I could hear everything, every step of people in the hallway and in rooms next to mine.

Room was a decent size with very comfy bed. Toiletries and a decent hairdryer supplied in the room.Very clean. Close to metro station so easy to get to city centre. Staff were all lovely, even tried to help me with my terrible French. They did speak English though.

The area is pretty dead in the evening, although there are a couple of places close by to eat. The toilet and shower are very compact, didn't bother us, but may be difficult for others. You can hear noise from other rooms, but generally a quiet stay.

Everything clean. The room was cleaned every day and the towels were changed every day as well. Location 5min away from the metro. Bed really comfortable and room spacious. Really good quality-price relation.

We felt the noise of one of the rooms next to us, so the noise cancellation is not the best from other rooms. But no noise coming from the street.

The location was perfect for me. 1 block away from Place d'Italie where there are several metro lines. The room was clean and not too small for one person. The bathroom was larger than other budget hotels where I've stayed in Paris. There is also a small elevator.

I stayed in May and just opened the window for a bit to cool the room down before bed, but I don't know if that would work in the summer.

Good location, with a clean room. Very friendly and pleasant staff. Possibility to leave the luggage, wifi connection, elevator available. 24/7 front office, so you could come in at any time of the day.

The walls are not sound proof enough, you could clearly hear if something happening in a nearest room (cleaning, for example). In additional, it was quite hot during the day without air conditioner.

It was very clean and the best location ever you walk to metro for 3 mins and with only 1 metro you can reach to Louvre, Eiffel, Luxembourg gardens. Very kind staff.

Very small toilets, the building is old but with that price in Paris and great location I think it is okay.
