Very central. Stylish decor

We ordered room service breakfast on last day as had early taxi booked, this was for two rooms. Unfortunately room service did not arrive and we had to rush to breakfast with a seven month old baby. Our cards were put out on door as requested but not collected overnight. All very disappointing. Also, not pleased to have hotel take £171 on arrival. For what? Not back in my account as yet. What is precise reason for this being taken? No restaurant for lunch or dinner so was not to be used as payment for any meals. Not pleased about this at all

We booked a Deluxe Double Room at The Duminy-Vendome. This is a smaller, boutique-style hotel with a very modern design style (under 100 rooms) and recently renovated throughout. The room was luxurious, of reasonable size and very well thought out in terms of livability. There was ample space to unpack and place your belongings (for two people) in the drawers, closet and cubby holes that were provided. It was easy to settle into the room and feel comfortable. Bedding was also very comfortable. This hotel is exactly what a person would expect for a 4-Star rated hotel. Breakfast was buffet style hosted in a basement (a bit stark, yet charming) dining facility. The food was excellent quality with a plentiful and wide selection. Location is excellent. The Tulleries Metro Station (and gardens) is one-tenth of a mile walk from the hotel; Pyramides Metro is three-tenths of a mile. The Louvre itself is half a mile away – all of these are easy walks. The front desk was always staffed with kind and helpful people. The location was on a side street one block from the Rue de Rivoli. You can sometimes hear noise coming from the Rivoli (police/fire/ambulance sirens), but overall, the location was quiet. Overall, the stay was very pleasant and memorable.

There was nothing really to dislike about our stay. We have been in other comparable hotels in Paris that were a bit less pricy. Overall, I can’t complain about anything with the exception of the elevator. Being in an older (renovated) building, there was only one elevator to service all the rooms. It is a small elevator and there were times where we had to pass up an elevator (going up or down) due to it being full (two people with their luggage was enough to fill the elevator). This is not a big problem, just worth a mention as quite a few other similar (small boutique) hotels have the same issue.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Paris! The location is absolutely amazing – within walking distance to almost everything, so we didn’t even need to use the subway. The room was very clean, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious for Paris standards. It was more than enough for a comfortable stay. The staff were always attentive and helpful, making us feel truly welcome. We have absolutely nothing to complain about. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Paris!

Location. Location. Location. Walking distance to almost everything. Breakfast was nice too. We got upgraded to the suite (pleasant surprise and really appreciated) and it was very spacious to say the least. Front desk and staff were very jovial and warm.

One thing that bugged me was that no body lotion/cream was provided in the room (that was a bummer). And I am not sure whether it was a miss or they don’t provide body lotions in washroom. Also, room service forgot to give us fresh pair of water bottles on the second day, but front desk was very apt to respond and provide us with the bottles when informed.

The hotel is well located, between Place Vendome and the Tuileries gardens. The Rue St Honore shopping street is just around the corner. The hotel lobby is nicely decorated, light and modern. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was nice and functional but not spectacular.

The room was tastefully, if a bit minimalistically, decorated. Good shower. But the room was very small. It was on the sixth floor and served by a single pretty slow elevator. Amenities were on the spartan side.

Great staff and a very comfortable hotel; all that you need in a clean, fresh and vibrant hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. I especially was impressed with the night front desk guy who was very patient with me in making a sure our 7am airport transfer was cancelled, even though I made the request at 12:45am! The staff made this short stay very pleasant and I’d make a point of coming back!

Stay was too short

Wonderful location, nicely designed, clean and quiet. The wonderfully friendly staff at the reception and also the cleaning staff. Can’t wait to come back to this cute hotel.

I wish to see more food options for room service and also more fruit & veg for breakfast

Good location and super clean. Room was newly furnished. Amazing service. Staff were always gracious, smiling and happy to help. They gave us a free room upgrade. The location of the property is perfect. I can’t recommend this hotel anymore highly.

New pillows, they are too soft and had a slight smell. If you like me prefer to use the stairs, they are very narrow and steep, I missed a step going down a few times. There’s a lift in the property so this is easily negated.

The location was stupendous, across from Tuileries Garden and the Louvre, Place Vendome and generally in a great area with many cafes and shops. The staff was extremely nice and helpful with information and anything we needed. The hotel is recetly renovated, chic and very comforable and clean.

The room was on the smaller side but I knew that in advance from reading the reviews.
