In this dodgy area of Paris, this hotel is a little gem for those looking for easy access to Gare du Nord and Gare de l’Est. The decor was fresh and bright with charming vintage fittings, the bed was super comfy, and the fragrant Diptyque shower gel, shampoo and conditioner were a pleasant surprise. Didn’t try the breakfast so can’t comment on that.

The rooms are unsurprisingly small (and with no easy place to store suitcases), given the area and my experience with other hotels in older Parisian buildings. Also, the air conditioning turned off in the middle of the night which made for a less than perfect sleep during high summer.

Beautifully decorated hotel. Exquisite colours and and designs. Makes it feel very quaint and unique. Very Parisian. Loved the balcony over the trains and especially watching the station and trains/skyline late at night all lit up. Lovely breakfast buffet in beautiful lounge.

The lift creaked a bit ominously. Little bistro owned by hotel just over the road that we went to have some dinner in was a bit overpriced. Main courses averaging at 30 euros. Would have been nice to have a few lower key options for food after a day travelling. But there are plenty of other eating spots nearby too.

Staff were very friendly. The location is excellent - lots of restaurants and shops around and walking distance to many places. It's between two major train stations if you're traveling a longer distance. Decor was cool and toiletries were high quality. It was nice that the windows opened for fresh air.

The issue for us was that our room was on the top floor and the exterior wall conformed to the slope of the roof line, meaning it slanted inward at such an angle that you had to duck and bend to get around the bed every time. I don't know if it was just our room or all rooms on the top floor. We would stay there again if we could get a room on a lower floor.

We had a wonderful stay at Hôtel Les Deux Gares. The room was comfortable, quiet, and stylish, with all the amenities you could need. We especially appreciated the thoughtful little touches like the cozy slippers, plush bathrobes, and luxurious Diptyque bathroom products. If you're after an Instagrammable hotel that also delivers on quality and comfort, this is a great choice. Plus, being within walking distance of Gare du Nord made it super convenient to explore Paris.

We don't have anything negative to comment on, other than that it would have been convenient to have a full-length mirror closer to the bed and a plug nearby for getting ready in the morning.

From the welcome at reception and helpful information to the beautiful stylish room the hotel was wonderful We ate at the little cafe on the corner Again the decor is so well styled and the jambon sandwich was excellent and great coffee The metro, bus and trains were close and we were able to visit markets and our river cruise from under the Eiffel Tower All in all one of my all time favorite stays in Paris . Can’t wait to return !

Extremely convenient for the two nearby stations. Comfortable and surprisingly quiet given that my room overlooked the Gare de l'Est. The air conditioning worked well - luckily, since I arrived during a heat wave in midsummer.

My room was rather cramped, with sloping ceilings as it was on the top floor. It was fine for an overnight stay, but I wouldn't recommend it for much longer than that. The staff could have been a little friendlier, although they were helpful enough and answered all my questions. They always seemed to be busy on their computer, though.

The room was very comfortable, thoughtfully designed and beautifully furnished. I also really enjoyed the views out onto the quiet side street and over the tracks of Gare de l'Est, especially in the morning sun. The bed was super comfortable and spacious. The people at the reception were very friendly. The café opposite which is also operated by the hotel is brilliant. Many of the places I wanted to visit in Paris were walking distance and there is lots of public transport closeby. Arriving/departing by train internationally or by RER from the airport is a breeze. Certainly recommended.

As the 'functional cabinet' containing the minibar, safe, kettle and coffemaker is painted in black and has no extra lighting, it was very hard to operate and to find things, especially at dark. The coffeemaker was out of order. Housekeeping had a few flaws. I found a couple of traces from previous guests. Amenities (tea bags etc) were only replenished at request. I tried to do some work on my computer in the hall during daytime, but was disturbed by the inappropriate behaviour of a staff member, who seems to mistake the place for her own apartment.

I didn't opt for breakfast as I wanted to go out and explore...but I saw people dining and it looked great! The hotel itself is in a wonderful location right beside the main Eurostar station and metro - so easy to navigate around Paris by metro or walking. The staff were exceptional friendly and helpful. The rooms were super clean, wonderful bedding, soft towels, great comfy bed and pillows, mini bar, coffee...all you could need. Great hot and spacious shower. Would definitely stay here again!

I needed a room while in transit to the UK during festive season. The hotel’s location is perfect, just as its name suggests—‘entre,’ meaning ‘between’—literally between Gare de l’Est (a 200m walk from the station) and Gare du Nord (a 5-minute walk)! I loved the decor, and the staff was absolutely friendly. A special shout-out to them for offering coffee throughout the afternoon while my Eurostar was delayed for several hours! An amazing find that I will definitely book again for another stay or transit between France and the UK.

The shower malfunctioned (the hot water was extremely hot), but it’s nothing to worry about—just a minor detail and easy to fix.

Location was perfect! Really trendy part of Paris and right next to metro station! The room was extremely clean after turn overs and new towels everyday and made bed! Staff were always very friendly and welcoming!

Room was on the small side, not much room for more than one suitcase. This wasn’t too much of a problem but photos of bedrooms on booking.com looked much bigger. Also the gym and lowest floor in the hotel looked out of use and had a bad smell.
