We had a wonderful stay at Hôtel Les Deux Gares. The room was comfortable, quiet, and stylish, with all the amenities you could need. We especially appreciated the thoughtful little touches like the cozy slippers, plush bathrobes, and luxurious Diptyque bathroom products. If you're after an Instagrammable hotel that also delivers on quality and comfort, this is a great choice. Plus, being within walking distance of Gare du Nord made it super convenient to explore Paris.

We don't have anything negative to comment on, other than that it would have been convenient to have a full-length mirror closer to the bed and a plug nearby for getting ready in the morning.

The room was very comfortable, thoughtfully designed and beautifully furnished. I also really enjoyed the views out onto the quiet side street and over the tracks of Gare de l'Est, especially in the morning sun. The bed was super comfortable and spacious. The people at the reception were very friendly. The café opposite which is also operated by the hotel is brilliant. Many of the places I wanted to visit in Paris were walking distance and there is lots of public transport closeby. Arriving/departing by train internationally or by RER from the airport is a breeze. Certainly recommended.

As the 'functional cabinet' containing the minibar, safe, kettle and coffemaker is painted in black and has no extra lighting, it was very hard to operate and to find things, especially at dark. The coffeemaker was out of order. Housekeeping had a few flaws. I found a couple of traces from previous guests. Amenities (tea bags etc) were only replenished at request. I tried to do some work on my computer in the hall during daytime, but was disturbed by the inappropriate behaviour of a staff member, who seems to mistake the place for her own apartment.

I needed a room while in transit to the UK during festive season. The hotel’s location is perfect, just as its name suggests—‘entre,’ meaning ‘between’—literally between Gare de l’Est (a 200m walk from the station) and Gare du Nord (a 5-minute walk)! I loved the decor, and the staff was absolutely friendly. A special shout-out to them for offering coffee throughout the afternoon while my Eurostar was delayed for several hours! An amazing find that I will definitely book again for another stay or transit between France and the UK.

The shower malfunctioned (the hot water was extremely hot), but it’s nothing to worry about—just a minor detail and easy to fix.

The hotel was super funky and unusual with bright colours and unique artwork, wallpaper and furniture giving the whole place a cheery, but not overbearing, feel. The room was lovely and clean with a comfortable bed and nice bathroom and was perfect for our needs. The location was amazing; sandwiched between two busy train stations that allowed us to explore the rest of Paris very easily. Overall a lovely hotel and would highly recommend.

The hotel is positioned right next to one of the train stations so a little noise can be heard from the rooms. This was not a problem for us but may be for other people staying there.

Amazing location and beautiful interiors! We took the train from London and you really can’t beat how convenient this location is. The room itself is also gorgeously designed and it’s very well-equipped with the amenities you need. Mind you, the property itself is small, very European but that’s what you want in Paris right?

I understand what some people say in previous reviews about how unsafe it feels at night. On our Uber back after a night out, we saw quite a few groups of people loitering about in the darker areas around the hotel and I wouldn’t have felt safe walking in that area alone at night (even if I were a guy!). That being said, as long as you can access the property from the escalator by Gare de l’Est or by taxi/Uber, it’s still fine overall.

Hotel les Deux Gares is the perfect spot for a night in transit through Paris. It's not even five minutes walk from Gare du Nord and super close to Gare de l'Est for our train down to the South. The staff were attentive and helpful and the decor is absolutely gorgeous. We even used the sauna before checking which was really something special!

This is a minor bugbear, but the bed was so huge that we could barely walk around it... If anything, more floor space is needed?? But that seems a ridiculous thing to complain about. Really, it had all we needed for a quick go-between. Perhaps not the spot for a longer visit, but would stay again in a heartbeat.

Great location to Gare du Nord train station which is a main line, and you can get to loads of different places from this station. Loved the boutique feel of the hotel, very cool styling. Everything was clean and comfortable, the staff were very helpful when we arrived, and they were happy to hold our bags for the day as check in wasn't until the afternoon. We were here for the Olympics and it was the perfect place to stay for the night.

Only thing we didn't get was a room with a double bed, we had two singles put together, but that wasn't really the end of the world to be honest.

One of the best aspects of the hotel was its location. We were only staying for a few days due to the Paralympics, so we had to make the most of our time. Having two major train stations nearby made traveling incredibly convenient. Another highlight was the bed and pillows – we had some of the best sleep we’ve ever had there.

The only downside to the hotel was probably the room size, as they were quite small. But then again, this is Paris—small rooms are pretty standard everywhere.

Great location for getting on the metro. We used the Euro tunnel & the Gare du Nord is 7 mins walk away. . The little gym had some really cute equipment and space. didn't get around to using the sauna. It does feel like you are in the Grand Hotel Budapest. Crazy decor but all works. The bed was huge and comfy. Best thing was the hotels cafe opposite. Really lovely staff and delicious food. If you want dinner book. Most of Paris is tall buildings, but because you look over Gare du L'est you see sky.

Very little space for clothes. There was only a rail over the side board that held the coffee machine and kettle and safe.

A strategically located, very cute hotel that feels like stepping into another world. The maximalist interior design gives each of the hotel spaces an intimate, whimsical feel. The vintage sourced furniture and small thoughtful details elevated the experience and my mood. The staff were also friendly, accommodating and helpful. I didn't get to try the matching restaurant across the street which I heard is really good.

Although the hotel is very clean - the bathrooms, beds and shelves are spotless and there are fresh slippers for guests - there were some small signs of wear and tear however this adds to the character and other worldly charm of the structure. The area is strategic but not so safe at night - best to get dropped off/picked up outside the door.
