This was our first hotel in our five weeks trip in France. I had been in France before and I had a little anxiety but everyone working at the hotel were very nice and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent and we liked the location next to the Luxembourg garden. We arrived at 11 am and check in was at three but our room was ready and they had no problem letting us check in earlier. It rained a couple of days during our time there and they had plenty of umbrellas available. The shower was great!!!

The room was lovely, lots of room. The air conditioner was a definite plus! The size of the bathroom was great! The closet space was great! Reception and service was wonderful! Location was perfect - walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go!!

We felt it was still expensive, and breakfast was not included in the price. However, we understand that this is in the heart of Saint Germain des Pres in Paris, that the location is perfect while still being very quiet - and it was THE MOST COMFORTABLE place we stayed while in France.

This is the quintessential French hotel in that it is in a very historic building with a lot of character. It has great location and is super quiet. You will not hear any traffic from the street. There is always someone at the desk and the rooms, while small, are comfortable. Our room was a full size bed with a seating area, good size closet and nice size bathroom. Tub shower that, like many French hotels, does not offer washcloths. Water pressure was excellent and hot water not an issue. The toilet is in a separate closet which meant a very tight fit. We just closed the outside door to the bathroom to use the toilet. No big deal. Nice big bath towels and there are two robes in the room. Plenty of outlets that have been upgraded to accommodate USB and c-type plugs. Morning breakfast is continental with some proteins like hard boiled eggs and ham. Cereals, toast, yogurt, etc round out the offering. Coffee is excellent and served with hot milk on the side. You won’t go away hungry but note there are no scrambled eggs, bacon, etc that hallmark an American breakfast.

Okay the elevator is super tiny per typical small French historic properties. We had 12 pieces of luggage as we were four travelers. so some of it stayed with the hotel in their luggage area. So you have to plan a bit when staying if you have a lot of luggage because you will be making a few trips to get it up to your room.

The location of the hotel is excellent. In the middle of Saint Germain and 5 minutes walk from Odeon metro station. There are many restaurants, cafes and pubs nearby. There also a small shopping center with supermarket, apple store and uniqlo. The room was very good. Additional 50cm could make it event better. The shower were new and functional. The breakfast was good as well, just to kickstart the day

No elevator

Roomy beds (think American King size), tub in the attached bath, private and quiet room, kettle for tea and instant coffee in the room, elevator, air conditioned, centrally located to many sites, very pleasant and helpful staff, charming decor. A very comfortable stay centrally located to so many sights. We were happy with the hotel and location overall. A nice stay for a family of three.

Strange light configuration in the main room with either all on or all off except 2 small reading lights on the bed you could individually control. Even with all loghts on, the room tends to be quite dark at night. Bed was firmer than we prefer. Price per night was also very high for a relatively small room, (tho this may have been because of the Rugby World Cup while we were there). I understand that Paris is expensive, but I have stayed at fancier 5 star hotels in the US for less per night. It was a pleasant stay, but the price point seemed out of sync, which is the only real reason we didn't rate it higher.

Excellent Location, in a quiet street but steps away from lots of cafes and restaurants. Walkable to many attractions and areas. Bedroom comfortable and nicely decorated, bathroom good size. Staff very nice and helpful. Would definitely stay again if in Paris.

Breakfast was fine for continental but I like a cooked breakfast. But I knew that was the case.

They upgraded us to a large room...... much larger than similar hotels we stayed in past years. location is excellent for us.... The shower was the best yet in all the small hotels we stayed in during that last 40 years.......

Not much......... if the breakfast was 10 or 12 EUROs we might have had more breakfasts in-house

SUPER comfortable bed and pillows, great shower and towels, L'Occitane toiletries, mini fridge, delicious breakfast, comfortable lobby, open 24/7 which was key for our late night arrival, central location perfect for seeing Paris. Half minute walk to a few restaurants and gelato place.

The size of the room, I stubbed my toe about 18 times. But I do think it's standard for Paris.

Hotel is in a superb location, especially if it's your first visit to Paris, with the RER and the Metro mere minutes away. Hotel is also surrounded by fab restaurants, cafes & bars. The hotel staff were great and very pleasant. Would definitely recommend.

Complimentary tea & coffee facilities in the hotel lobby or our room would be appreciated after a long day out and about sightseeing in the city.

Location was great, easy walk from RER stop direct from CDG so no need for taxis or Ubers. Also easy access to multiple subway lines. Perfect for walking around a whole lot of the main tourist areas, but still a french neighborhood so nice local non tourist options. Wonderful sound insulation never heard a thing on the street.

I am tall, 191, so the tub shower option can sometimes be a bit short and I couldn't get the hand shower to mount well but was minor inconvenience.
