I recently stayed at Hotel Vaugirard Paris for four days and overall had a decent experience. The location is excellent, just a 1-minute walk to the metro station, with a bus stop right outside the hotel. There’s also a shop nearby where you can find anything you might need, which is really convenient. The hotel offers complimentary water, coffee, and tea, which was a nice touch. The bathroom was fairly spacious and clean, which we appreciated. Considering the price, I think the hotel is good value for money. It provides most of what you need for a comfortable stay. We were generally satisfied, but it could have been an even better experience if the issues with the bed sheets and heating were addressed. The staff were friendly enough. After reading some mixed reviews about them, I was cautious with my interactions, but they were mostly helpful. They did have a bit of an aloof attitude, which is probably just typical French demeanor.

However, there were a few downsides. When we arrived, the bed sheets were dirty. I requested them to be changed twice, but unfortunately, they never were. Also, the heating in the room didn’t work, but we managed by using extra blankets. On a positive note. Check-in was supposed to be at 14:00, but we had to wait an extra 45 minutes because the room wasn’t ready yet, which was a bit frustrating.

The location of the hotel was nearby a train station. Staff was very pleasant during our stay.

Following up with the bellow - the hotel eventually shipped the item and apologized. They are very service oriented. We had to leave in a hurry due to a family emergency, and since we left in a rush we had forgotten something of value in the safe. I contacted the staff both via booking, via email and phone and they have confirmed that they have obtained the item from the safe and that they will send it to our address with shipping on my expense, I have pre-paid for shipping (twice!) and they failed to send the item.. have never heard from them since...

Although location was not super central the metro was a moments walk down the road taking you to wherever you wanted to go there was also a great variety of restaurants bars a couple of supermarkets etc within walking distance of the property. The neighbourhood felt safe and quiet. There was filtered water and coffee / hot drinks available for free which was a great bonus. The bed was comfortable and there was a small balcony which was lovely and provided fresh air when required.

Our room had a false wall leading to which looked like an electrical closet. There was a small hole in the wall and when the lights in the room went on the light behind the wall also went on. It was not a problem but initially was a bit unnerving had I been travelling by myself I’m not sure if I would have felt super comfortable with this but was not an issue during our stay.

I was in Paris to see Olimpic games who took place in Arena sout. The hotel is very close 6-8 walk. The hotel is close to Metro station 50 m , supermarket, just outside, a lot of restaurants near. The room is ok considering Paris hotels, the bathroom is great considering Paris standards you have a bath tube , there where AC in the room. Breakfast very good, eggs, omelet, cheese, cakes…. Almost everything except vegetables In Paris we have only croissants and coffee in other hotels. I have a room to the inner courtyard so it was very quiet. I highly recommend. The price was big for me but it was olimpic time

The staff were amazing they were super friendly, attentive and helpful.The room had a balcony!and it was clean and sufficient for our one night stay.free coffee and water was available in the main lobby.The breakfast had a decent variety of bread,pastries,cheese,yoghurts,fruit,juice and hot beverages along with boiled eggs.The location was fantastic although far from the centre of paris it was a 30 second walk to the metro station which takes you all over paris.

The Ac didn't work so we had to open the doors to the balcony even after reporting the issue and being told it was fixed it still wasn't.One other thing that bothered me was that there was no fridge in the room.although there was hand-wash in the bathroom there was no shampoo or shower gel which didn't bother us as we had our own but it's the first hotel I have been to that didn't really have toiletries also no slippers.

Firstly, the staff at the reception was very kind - they let us check in one hour before the check in time. The hotel is clean and there's coffee and water provided for free for all guests in the lobby. I can't comment on the breakfast as we didn't pay for it. The room is small yes, but very clean, comfortable and cozy. Although we were there only for two nights, the staff cleaned the room and the bathroom and changed our towels on our second day, which was exceptionally kind. The location is also very good - 3 minutes away from the metro station and also the area is filled with restaurants with good ratings. Lastly, our flight was in the afternoon, so the staff kept our luggage for a few hours, so that we could do some more exploring of the city.

Simple but good breakfast. Free coffee. friendly staff. Clean room. WiFi worked well. Good location with restaurants and Paris Expo nearby.

Very small elevator for "3 persons", but actually only one person fits in. Simple amenities, e.g. no body lotion, but only liquid soap. The room view was towards other buildings. A bit noisy room (underground?) made my first night sleep weak, but on the second night I was already adapted to it. :D

It was a very nice stay. Bus and metro stops just barely 1 minute walk from the hotel (even less). Direct bus to the Eiffel Tower, quick connect with metro to any place in Paris. Shops and restaurants in the area. Big plus was coffee machine with tea at the ground floor and water dispenser. Room tiny but more than ok if you spend most of your time sightseeing. But bathroom was spacious.

You can hear and feel metro :) (we were on the 6th floor) Also, if you are claustrophobic, better ask for the room on the lower floor as the elevator is tiny and can barely fit 2 people with backpacks ;)

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was good, thanks to the excellent cleaning service and the comfortable bed. One of the highlights was the complimentary coffee machine in the lobby—perfect for a quick pick-me-up—and the availability of fresh drinking water there added to the convenience. The location is fantastic, with a metro station conveniently situated right next to the hotel, making it easy to explore the city. Additionally, there are several restaurants and a nearby bakery that offers delicious pastries. The staff were exceptionally friendly and ready to assist.

I could hear some noise from the traffic in my room, but I believe there are quieter rooms on the other side of the hotel.

Being close to the metro station made it easy to get around the city, allowing visitors to explore various tourist attractions with convenience. This accessibility made the trip much more practical and enjoyable, enabling us to make the most of each day. Finally, the cleanliness of the room was impeccable. The feeling of entering a tidy and hygienic space contributed to a welcoming atmosphere. Knowing we were in such a well-maintained environment provided peace of mind and comfort, making our stay even more memorable.
