The location and staff were amazing! Our stay was one week prior to the Olympic opening ceremony so there were many road blocks and checkpoints to navigate- they were very accommodating and our drivers were great! Minutes walk to lively cafes, the Seine, Notre Dame, the Metro. And very important - air conditioned!

The dining area was under construction so we had to walk through that area to get to our room. There was also no elevator (or it was also under construction) which was not preferred by my 72yo mother.

Very narrow lift and be aware that reception for this hotel is across the road at their sister hotel.

The location is perfect- within walking distance to many sites and in a great old little street. The staff is the best asset of the hotel! Nothing was too much and they made our stay very enjoyable. The breakfast is tops and again attention to every detail by serving staff! Thank you for looking after us, Willy and team!

Unfortunately the top floors were being renovated so very noisy and dusty through the day- but that is obviously temporary... Luckily the weather was great so we were not in our room during the day! The pub across the road can get noisy especially over the weekend but with closed windows it is less of a problem.

This is a beautiful hotel, walkable to major attractions(louvre, Jardin du Luxembourg, Seine river, notredame, hotel de ville) Excellent, chic location, beautiful cafes/restaurants steps away from the hotel. Excellent staff. We stayed in a junior suite with a connecting room with 2 bathrooms , big enough for 4 people. Furnishings are elegant, bathrooms are nice Beds are comfortable

We were a family of four adults. Stayed in July 2025. We got two junior suites- 42 and 52. Recently renovated. Not very large though pretty spacious for Paris and Saint Germain. Two separate areas- one with a small bar, kitchenette and a sofa bed which we used only as a sofa and another which had the bed. Both rooms great. If needed I think the room can accommodate 3. The washroom is the highlight. The shower area has two rain showers. Excellent- super big. Willy at the check-in was excellent. Location: perfect. Next to restaurants, bars, coffee shops, shopping, walking distance from Marais- basically everything. This was our 3rd visit to this area in the last 3 years and our 4th hotel. And this is right at the top with another one. Will we stay here again- Yes.

Exceptional location metres from great restaurants, the Seine, Place St Michel The friendly staff were available to assist with any request and did so patiently and with good humour. For a Parisian hotel the rooms were generous in size and the bedroom was clean and well presented. Decorated in French style - very quaint. Recently renovated breakfast room with a fabulous breakfast choice served by friendly and helpful staff.

The property was advertised as having air conditioning but only had a very noisy mobile climatisation box (see photo) The mould in the grout in the tiled shower cubicle was yuk! Urgently needs renovation The rooms could not be access directly from the lift and required navigating narrow spiral stairs.

The room felt fresh and new, everything had been thought of, it was well designed and made good use of quite a small space. The shutters were double glazed and filtered outside noise very effectively. The twin beds were super comfy, with quality bedding. The free water was a nice touch. Willie our host gave us a very warm welcome and made sure we were happy with everything. He recommended the nearby Cafe Latin, which we ate at and thoroughly enjoyed our meal and drinks there. We didnt take breakfast, so can't comment on that. The area was lovely, very near The Seine and Notre Dame, we only had 1 night but it was great. Hotel organised a taxi to Gare du Nord for us too.

We were disappointed that the room was not as pictured on website, they looked very elegant and characterful. We were over the road and the room was smaller than I anticipated (we stayed at 4 hotels and I always checked room sizes before booking, so I had some idea of what I wanted). However the room was charming and freshly decorated to a high standard. The lift was the smallest I've ever seen and was quite claustrophobic. We were on 5th floor with a very narrow staircase. Staff did take our luggage up for us though.

The location was fantastic, so close to Notre Dame, The Seine, and the Latin Quarter. Everything was so easy to get to and you are close to a metro station where we travelled back to Gard du Nord. Good restaurants nearby and the hotel kindly supplied a list covering Paris. The apartment itself was a junior suite with a comfy bed and fantastic shower. The handy kitchenette was a good bonus and having a small sitting room to rest was an advantage. It is an old building with spiral staircase so big cases would be a challenge.

A light in the wardrobe! Otherwise everything was perfect although husband did complain about music from surrounding bars, it didn't bother me as I wear earplugs

We truly loved our time at Residence des Artes. From the moment we saw the room we felt like it was the perfect place to stay in Paris. The decor and comfort of the suite could not have been better, and the location was perfect. One block from the St. Michael Metro and RER made our airport connection very easy and all our Metro excursions a snap. The recommendations for restaurants were very helpful, and so many were within 1-2 blocks. I’m sure it will be even better when renovations on the bistro are complete. We love the history and stories involved with the street and the buildings (Henry IV and Gabriella D’Estrees) Our only point of concern for people considering this hotel is that it would not work for people with limited mobility. There is a very tiny elevator ( as in many Parisian buildings) but steps are required to get to it from any level. We will definitely book here again if we are lucky enough to return to Paris.
