Location excellent, right in the heart of the Left Bank and close to Notre Dame and the Louvre. Convenient for Metro Line 4 (St Michel station links to Gare du Nord for Eurostar from London St Pancras). Staff helpful (and spoke English). Restaurant on ground floor.

Room a bit too small (but did have ensuite WC & shower). Also right at top of building so there was a further stair to climb from the lft. Dust clearly evident along top of bed headboard. Suggest change format of breakfast to self-serve rather than set tray of (rather random) items.

The location was excellent. Close to metro, shopping and Notre Dame.

Room was tiny and could hear everything from my neighbors. The sewer smell came whenever I did a deep flush. The shower if the curtain was not placed just right would flood the room.

I had a fantastic experience at this hotel. The location was absolutely perfect, right in the centre of the vibrant Latin Quarter, making it incredibly easy to visit nearby attractions like the beautiful Notre Dame. Plus, it was right next to a metro stop, which made getting around the city a breeze. The restaurant downstairs was great; the food was excellent and offered at reasonable prices. And we enjoyed a breakfast every day that was included. Despite being in such a central location, I was delighted that the noise from the busy streets was completely blocked out in the room, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

The elevator only went to the 5th floor and we were staying on the 6th. So we had to lug our heavy suitcases up the last floor. But at least there was an elevator that went most of the way.

It's very cozy and wonderful hotel in the old building in tourist Latin quarter. Room matches for those, who wants to explore the city thoroughly, and here to have shower, keep stuff and sleep. It's close to Notre dame and all other attractions. You can walk and wander these amazing old streets, having all pleasant cafes and restaurants, bakeries, souvenir shops near the hotel.Room is very warm, clean and convenient despite of its small space.Stuff is very kind.Additionally, I adore this old fashioned lift. The only disadvantage for sensitive people can be plenty of noisy night life nearby, but it's the heart of tourist vivid life ))

The lack of kettle was inconvenient a little bit. But the restaurant or vending machine can solve the problem.

I have visited Paris several times and this is by far the best hotel I have been. The staff was very friendly, the room was very comfortable and warm, and the bathroom quite big for Paris standard. For me not having a moquette in the room is a super plus. There is a small elevator also. The position is simply excellent for visiting Paris. They changed the towels every day. I will definitely keep this hotel in mind for my future business trip to Paris.

If I have to comment, the room was definitely clean, but I found one or two hairs around. I would also improve the choices for the breakfast, we took it in hotel only once because around the hotel there are several nice brasserie.

The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the city. The room services exceeded our excpactations. Everything was handled quickly, with ease. The room was small but with everything needed, including the air conditioner. The staff were absolutely amazing: very welcoming, professional and multilingual, hospitable, accommodating. Breakfast was quite good, with freshly baked croissants etch morning. Though centrally located, still it was a quite place.

The shower was quite compact and it would have been desirable to have a bit more shelf space inside. And still, these are minor details that didn't affect our overall experience.

Kind of small rooms but that’s to be expected for this price and location

The room was very comfortable - cozy! The bathroom was nice, clean. The beds were comfortable. Staff was very helpful -- housekeeping did a great job and they were very attentive. The concierges were kind and helpful - they allowed us to store our bags while we waited for an early check-in time. We also enjoyed the location - there is great access!

Unfortunately, the walls of the rooms are thin, so we could easily hear other people in our building, doors closing and music from the next door building. Other people staying in the hotel were respectful and quiet, but it was sometimes difficult to sleep through the night with the noise.

Location, absolutely central for all your needs - attractions, restaurants, bars, jazz clubs, metro. Cleanliness, very well kept. View from our top floor room, down on the street below, and even had the unexpected, slightest, yet passable, view of the Eiffel Tower from the window.

The regimental 'this is what you get' breakfast tray; would have preferred a little more of a buffet style or at least a choice of cereal and selection of milks & juices. Communication at breakfast (and check-in) for gluten-free and dairy-free was difficult, but a compromise was eventually made/understood by breakfast staff. Top floor room did get hot (late July, fair enough), air-con whilst good, was loud but to be half-expected. Shower was a tad small, would have preferred a door to it rather than a curtain.

The location and tidiness. I think is a good place to stay for 1 max. 2 night. More than that, I would recomend to find other place. And do not pay for the breakfast. It is very simple, not enough variety. Near by the hotel is a caffe where you can get better options for the same price.

The breakfast. Very poor. Not enough options. Better to find a caffe in the street to eat. Also the soup and shampoos. The rooms where a bit small for 3 people, though we manage it as we didn't have big luggage.
