The location is the best reason to stay here, few minutes walk to popular bookstores Shakespeare and Company and Abbey Books. Notredame Cathedral is just around the corner and now that it has reopened you can visit. The metro/train station is just 2 minutes walk away and has a direct RER line to Versailles. So I spent a day visiting Versailles Palace, and when I was back in Paris I was able to check Notredame Cathedral in the evening as it was open until 8pm. On another day I walked over to visit the Louvre Museum just across the bridge. If you don't mind walking there are the Paris highlights within walking distance. But the metro is also very convenient to use to get to places too.

We chose this hotel because we didn't want to waste time in public transports when visiting Paris. This is the heart of Quartier Latin, Notre Dame is basically behind the hotel. It is possible to walk to most iconic places or take a bus which is better than the tube , because when you are underground in the metro , you don't see much. If you take the tube to some places, chances are it will be a short ride and a direct line. The manager is super nice ! She went beyond our expectations. Equally , the night time staff was super helpful at the desk. The breakfast is very good , you can have a healthy choice ( There were tomatoes and cucumbers among other things, for vegans , the wholesome bread was especially good too !) and the usual French pastries of course ! I really loved how in the morning we could enjoy the quiet streets of Paris . This is an address I will keep, this is exactly what we needed to experience Paris.

There were not enough plugging options in the room. I had to choose between the night lamp and my CPAP , equally we had to unplug the kettle to charge our phones. The bathroom is nice but lacks shelves or storing cabinets. Those are normal drawbacks of being in the historical center of Paris though and we didn't mind so much.

This is a nice little gem in a great location surrounded by cafes and shops. It is within walking distance to the Metro, bookstores, pharmacy, small grocery stores, the Seine…and pretty much anything else you’d need. Our room was pleasant, clean, and we loved having a balcony with a view. A buffet breakfast is available at reasonable cost serving both hot and cold items. Any staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The neighborhood is safe…I was there with my 13 year old granddaughter.

Beautiful little boutique hotel in centre of Latin quarter. Staff very friendly and helpful - given a lovely welcome by Max. Spotlessly clean triple room and bathroom. Small but well equipped. Did not have breakfast but going by other reviews it is very good. Hôtel a few minutes to Notre Dame and metro station. Felt a very safe area. Lovely Italian restaurant and off licence opposite. Beautiful cafe for baguettes/croissants etc just beside hotel. Lots of lovely restaurants in surrounding area. Would highly recommend this hotel and are.

Loved the location--right in the middle of St Michel which is a lovely part of Paris with narrow cobblestone streets and lots of cafes. It is bustling but has an old village feel. The hotel has retained it's charm as an older building but still added amenities. Super thankful for the tiny elevator since we were on the 6th floor. Bed and bathroom were great--bathroom is a good size and feels updated.

Room was tiny which was okay since we were out all day and only slept there. If we had wanted to relax in our room it would have felt cramped and not-relaxing. All that to say, a slightly larger room would have been appreciated.

The location is perfect. Very close to the metro station and walking distance to Notre Dame and the Seine. Tons of restaurants, cafes, and souvenir shops right outside your door. Comfortable beds. Room was a good size for 3 people.

The elevator is tiny. Also, not a fan of the "wet" rooms in the bathroom. When you take a shower, water gets everywhere. I know this is very American, but I prefer a shower door or curtain to contain the water. It was a little noisy at night. I stayed on the 4th floor and could hear people outside in the street until about 2a. I guess this is the drawback to being close to restaurants, nightlife, etc.

Albe Saint Michel’s location is 12/10. Super close to RER and metro. Short walking distance to Notre Dame, Saint Chapelle. A nice walk to the Louvre, Pantheon, Luxembourg Garden. Lots of places to eat nearby. Staff is great and always greeted us. Breakfast is wonderful with warm bacon and scrambled eggs, meat and cheese, fresh bread, coffee and juices. Umbrellas available if you don’t have one. They held our luggage after checkout so we can eat/shop before our uber to the airport. Air condition works! There’s a small fridge for the bottle water we bought. WiFi worked great. We felt very safe walking around even at 11 pm. We would return here again.

Just a heads up. It’s loud. Even with the windows shut. But we didn’t mind it. There’s a night life in Saint Michel, so that’s to be expected. We still wanted the proximity to the sites we wanted to see. No shelves or drawers in the room. It’s very difficult to be organized with 3 people in the room staying for 5 days. Carpet looks outdated; it’s clean but looks dirty.

Location is excellent, close to the Metro, RER B and Notre Dame and Latin Quarter area. You can easily walk to the Louvre and the Jardin du Luxembourg. The surrounding area is very lively but I found that I could still get to sleep easily in my room as soundproofing was pretty good. My single room was compact but not too small. Everything worked although the WiFi was unreliable. Breakfast was decent. Staff were pleasant.

My main complaint was the unreliable WiFi. My phone’s 5G reception meant it wasn’t much of a problem but it should be improved. The bed was reasonable but not particularly comfortable.

Excellent location. Very close to St Michel metro which on a direct tube from Gare du Nord (Eurostar). and bus stops to take you along the left bank. to d'Orsay and the Louvre galleries. Only a few minutes walk from the Seine, Petit Pont and Notre Dame. Many restaurants close by and le Petit Chatelet, recommended by the hotel was very good The breakfast was excellent..

Unfortunately, the lift was out of order and my room was on the 6th floor, with 105 steps up to it. They didn't have another room available, but did give me a 20% discount off my bill as compensation, which seemed fair. Fortunately, although I am 82 I was able to manage the stairs and they said they would have relocated me if I couldn't have managed. The shower door didn't close properly due to a poor seal so the bathroom got flooded on one occasion. Also the toilet was very close to the shower door, which didn't bother me as I am very short, but somebody with longer legs would have had a problem.

Very good location for visiting major sites like Notre Dame, bookstores, Tuileries and Luxembourg Gardens, Musee d'Orsay and Musee Marmottan Monet, and close to bus stops for all arrondissements for shopping. The air conditioning worked well and the bed was very comfortable, with good blackout curtains. It is walking distance to two organic food stores, other grocery stores, restaurants, and a laundry.

The walls are a bit thin so some evenings there were noisy neighbors. The decor is 80s, not charming, and the carpet seemed old. It's a place to change and sleep in Paris, not to enjoy the room.
