Jean Etienne asked our plans for the day and provided directions and maps to help us on our way. He couldn't do enough to make us feel comfortable. We had to leave before breakfast serving time, and we greatly appreciated that Jean Etienne provided us with a croissant and juice to take with us.

When we arrived at the property, we didn't have information to be able to access the front doors, and no way of contacting Jean Etienne as our mobile phones weren't operational. Thankfully the neighbouring business owner was kind enough to phone Jean Etienne for us, and he was quickly greeting us. A frustrating start after about 30 hours of travel time.

The property is exactly like what in the photos and even more! Location is superbe, just beside the metro. Jean did an excellent job not only with the divine interior design and decor but also the great service and the food. All the details reflect Jean‘s attentiveness, responsibility, thoughtfulness and great taste. He’s definitely a bon-vivant. For example, to my surprise, the key chain is fragrant! I won’t be a spoiler and you could experience the rest yourself! The room is super cool though the heatwave is coming in Paris.

Our stay at My Home For You was truly exceptional. Our room, designed in an elegant Chinese style, was beautifully decorated with great attention to detail. Everything fit together perfectly, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Our host, Jean Etienne, was incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel welcome from the very start. The breakfast selection was small but outstanding – the best croissants I’ve ever had! As a thoughtful gesture for my wife’s birthday, we even received a bottle of Crémant, which made our stay even more special. A wonderful experience that exceeded our expectations – we would highly recommend it!

Fabulous room and ensuite bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Care was obviously taken in the quality of decorating and accessorising the room. High standard of cleaning, replacing towels, etc.The breakfast was generous and a good experience. Our host suggested options for eating out. The apartment is in a central location and is beside a Metro station.

It suited us perfectly. You are staying in someone's home so we'd be conscious of not returning too late at night or making noise in the entrance corridor as there are other guests staying too. It's not a hotel but it is a perfect location if you want a quiet luxurious room in a central location.

We stayed at My Home for You for 2 nights and had a wonderful experience. The location is fantastic, an easy walk to many attractions such as the Louvre, the Palais Garnier, and the Seine River. Easy access to metro. There are also plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, and grocery stores nearby, which made everything super convenient. The breakfast was simple yet delicious, with fresh croissants and cheeses. We stayed in a triple room, and it was quite generous in size compared to typical Paris standards. Since we spent most of our days exploring, we were only at the hotel for breakfast and to sleep, but it had a charming Parisian feel that added to our stay. Highly recommend!

It could be a bit noisy at times, and the Wi-Fi was occasionally slow, but neither was a major issue for us

The room was excellent, the large big windows allowing natural lights in, I personally need windows and I need to awake up with natural light. The room is exceptionally large and the bed super comfy. The gentleman hosting us was patient with us getting lost on the way to the location. We only stayed one night.

The thermos for the hot water only had enough water for one cup of tea, and both my husband and I drink tea, not coffee. I didn't want to ask for more water, I didn't feel comfortable, the vibe of the place is a bit stoic, and that's alright for some people but I can feel sometimes intimated.

Great location! Close enough to everything, 15 mins from station and 15 mins from the river. Comfy bed. Great shower. So quiet considering off a busy road. Footprint is huge for its location in Paris. Jean was a great host, communication, kindness and very generous with champagne and brioche just two of the gifts during our stay.

Very minor, but a dressing area would have been ideal. Just a mirror above the desk would have worked. Doing make up in the bathroom after a steamed up from a shower. Not ideal.

We stayed here for five days and felt extremely comfortable. Jean Etienne warmly and thoughtfully welcomed us and recommended some great restaurants. The room we stayed in was spacious and clean, and most importantly, the price was more affordable than regular hotels. It was truly amazing! I’ve already recommended this place to many friends, and the next time I come to Paris, I will definitely stay here again.

Pretty much everything! Jean Etienne is a fabulous host, could not do enough to make you feel welcome. Very helpful with lots of suggestions of things to do in the area. Happy to help with making reservations for food or taxis. The property is in a great location with plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants, cabaret, cinema, metro station outside the door! Breakfast provided was incredible - fresh croissants, fruit, brioche, cheese (to die for!). Room cleaned every single day. All the amenities you would need (umbrellas too, which were essential for our November stay). Our TV apparently had a problem and JE was very apologetic - we did tell him that we probably would not have even noticed as we were not going to be watching any tv anyway. To make up for this, we came back one afternoon to a bottle of Brut which was a lovely surprise. We also had sweets and macarons waiting for us on other days which was very welcoming after long days of sight seeing.

What’s not to like!?

The location is excellent, you can easily reach all the sights of Paris. The room was as seen in the pictures.

The breakfast consisted of too many sweet products. The room lacked slippers and the coffee machine. There is a need for hangers in the bathroom. The internet works very poorly, at a low speed.
