Location Location Location! Room was great, good size for a family and very convenient. TV had British channels which was good as we do not speak French. Breakfast was very nice, fresh fruit and veg every morning.

Low water pressure in the shower The glass separating the shower from the room had a mechanism that turns it clear at a press of a bottom, very embarrassing. We were bitten every night by something, Hotel staff said there was a local issue with bugs. the hotel should do something about this, my girl developed an allergic reaction to one of the bites.

Great location, perfect for getting around Paris. We have stayed here many times. As always, lovely staff providing courteous and friendly service. The double queen room we had was very comfortable—on the top floor with fantastic views.

Overhaul of lobby is ongoing until 2026 we were told… noisy and not very pleasant entering the hotel. Tail end of the breakfast room was sometimes affected by the smokers outside.

Excellent location next to Metro and lots of Coffees and shopping options. We had very good room for 2 adults and 2 kids (no 600) on the sixth floor with nice balcony and view (the photo below is from our balcony). Usually most of Paris hotels have very small rooms, but this one exceeded our expectations by size and look.

At arrival the guy in reception was not very nice and helpful. I had to come back 3 times to get our key cards working and same with additional blanket for children. However the lady receptionist when checking out was very nice and friendly.

Great location (if that's what you're looking for). Great for businessmen and couples that what's to take a walk in the city with no need for transportation. Excellent and exceptional welcoming nice Staff, that speaks good English. Good job there

Poor breakfast. We were very disappointed. No salad. just cucumbers and cherry tomatoes. Poor selection, and you may choose between a small boiled egg or an inedible scrambled egg... It is absolutely recommended to skip and eat in the cafes in the city. The room was nice and clean but too small for us (2 adults+2 kids) but that's reasonable in a big city, with a non open window (why?) with a "view" to another too close building wall.

Good beds, blackout curtains, nice bathroom, well-located. Free icecreams from 4-6pm and water, snacks in the lobby was also appreciated.

Not prior informed about significant renovation works underway; website misleading showing glass atrium sitting areas, whereas all of that is non-existent. After coming in from a big day out and wanting an hour or so of rest before heading out again for dinner, the drilling and hammering adjacent our room was difficult to ignore. During the middle of the last night of our four night stay, our room ran out of toilet paper.

Our stay at Novotel Paris Les Halles was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we stepped through the doors, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome, always greeting us with warmth and genuine hospitality. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their attention to detail truly set this hotel apart. The location is absolutely perfect—just a short stroll from the Louvre and Notre Dame, with seamless access to the underground, making exploring Paris effortless. One of the most memorable moments was when we mentioned it was our daughter’s birthday; while we were out, the team went above and beyond to decorate our room as a surprise. It was such a thoughtful gesture that completely made her day and left us all feeling so touched. Every part of our experience, from the comfort of the rooms to the impeccable service, felt like pure magic. Highly recommended.

It was very clean, comfortable and the best location one could want. Just a very short walk from The Louvre and in the middle of some great shopping. Surrounded by some very good cafe’s, restaurants and bakeries. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

The entrance to the hotel is very difficult to access, even the cab driver who brought us from the airport had difficulty finding it, we had to go around in circles. It’s not a drive up entrance, which meant we had to drag our suitcase up to the hotel! The room we had was on the top floor with a great view but a reclining low ceiling which meant we would bang our heads on it all the time!! One side of the bed could not be accessed at all. For a 5 star hotel they were severely lacking in amenities like water, toothbrush, etc.

Staff were very polite and friendly. Fantastic location to explore the city. Rooms were very quiet which made it easy to sleep at night. Great TV in room with a variety of channels to choose from.

No radiators in bathroom to dry towels therefore new towels were needed everyday. We were only given 2 sets but we were a family of 4 (children 13 and 11). Sink in bathrooms was leaking onto the shelf underneath. Air conditioning didn’t seem to be working. Only one dressing robe and slippers in room on our arrival.

We booked this hotel almost a year before our June 2024 trip mainly because it's well recommended and reasonably priced (vs other 1st arr hotel options). The hotel was responsive to all my queries sent via Booking.com. I tried to book directly after we got our visas but they couldn't match the rate I got from Booking.com. On the day of our check in, I was anticipating that the hotel will give us the worst room since we paid cheaper rates but no, Olivier even gave us an upgrade! Our room was bigger and had 2 sofa beds and was facing the quieter side of the area. The room was almost perfect --- spacious, wifi, aircon and heater running, comfortable beds. Breakfast food was good and there are many choices but these are the same everyday (imagine eating the same breakfast spread for a week!). The location was great with the train station literally a few steps from the hotel. Getting a taxi/Bolt was also easy, sometimes though we'd walk to the main road (about 5mins) to make it faster/easier to get a Bolt. There is also a self service laundromat 5mins away from the hotel. We used this 2x and we were so grateful for the convenience. The hotel is in a central location and you could walk to many spots to/ from the hotel. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for the location, rooms, food and service!

The room lacked a retractable clothesline and it could use more hooks and bigger bedside tables. I also found the shower floor quite slippery and could be dangerous especially since the shower area doesn't have railings.

Friendly staff, comfortable beds and clean. Breakfast was also good and reasonably priced.

A little expensive for two night and fridge was off limits as products could be found outside at a cheaper rate
