This is a superbly located, excellently run boutique hotel. Its position is one minute from the Seine, five minutes from Notre Dame and ten minutes from Le Louvre. Bastille is a pleasant and interesting 15 minute walk. There is a metro station (direct from Orly airport) 150m from its door and a station servicing CDG airport only 5 minutes walk away. It could not be more convenient. There are many bars, eateries and shops on the doorstep. The hotel itself provides an excellent breakfast. There is a plush lounge in which you can enjoy an evening drink. The rooms are not big but are perfectly big enough. Ours had a balcony on which we could enjoy a glass of wine (fridge in room) and watch the cafes and bars below. There was no noise issue at all. The staff were brilliant - Friendly, multi-lingual and very helpful. It was a very hot time in Paris and the air-con was struggling. We mentioned it in passing and a fan was immediately placed in our room to assist. Whilst it is not cheap in the general sense, by comparison to other hotels in this very lovely part of Paris it represented great value for money. I could not recommend it more highly

1. Location - cannot be better. Close to everything. Metro - in 100 meters. 2. Room was beautiful, bed was big and very comfortable, Very good soundproofing. 3. Breakfast was rich and tasty. One of the best in Paris, to my opinion. 4. Stuff - extremely helpful. It was a real pleasure to speak to them.

We didn't have breakfast at the hotel since there are so many interesting eating places near by. The location is amazing. 10 minutes walk to Notre Dame. 20 minutes walk to the Louvre. 2 minutes walk to cafes and restaurants and shops on Rue de Rivoli. And an interesting neighbourhood with small businesses. The staff are exceptional. Every single one went out of their way to be friendly, welcoming and helpful. We arrived before the advertised check in time and were welcome to wait in the lounge for our room to beready and help ourselves to tea and coffee while waiting. The young lady on reception recommended a local restaurant which I thought looked closed so she checked with the proprietor for me and made a booking for the following night. And the restaurant really was excellent. Our room was cosy. Water was always hot. Highly recommended.

Nothing could have been better.

Location was perfect. The room was small, but nice and they had slippers, some welcome water and chocolates which was a nice touch. The staff were great, especially Tenzin. He made sure we had everything we needed and was very helpful. The breakfast is simple, but has everything you need. The young woman who was taking care of the breakfast made sure everything was fresh and stocked. I would definitley stay there again.

The room and bathroom could have been a bit bigger, but I knew what I reserved so no complaints. Everything else was great!

The hotel is centrally located and has many bars, restaurants and cafes around it. as well as tourist interest points. We only spent one night before leaving France, so our impression is quite limited. The reception and lobby's design is warm and homely, and the room was also cosy, although quite small, with ample electrical and USB sockets, good lighting, and clean. It had everything we needed.

The staff was courteous, however, the (very kind) night clerk at the front desk was unable to tell us if they had a twin room available or only a double, since it was his first day on the job :) Not very crucial but it would be good to train staff to know about such things. Also, there seems to be an issue with acoustic insulation between rooms... we were woken up in the middle of the night by other guests enetering their room and speaking loudly, and later - by the sound of snoring from the adjacent room.

The property is updated & clean Great location to Notre Dame, Louvre, metro & close to restaurants Staff were very helpful specially “Jade”, very patient in giving me directions on taking the metro. The taxi that we booked to transfer from the hotel to airport cancelled for the last minute. It was very stressful. I asked Jade if there’s anyway she can help us & she didn’t hesitate to help, I’m just one phone call she got us a taxi to the airport & we didn’t miss our flight. Thank you so much Jade, you’re an angel 🙏🙏🙏

I was traveling with my daughter, a student in Paris who had so much luggage and we needed to leave it at the hotel while visiting friends for a few days. They were so helpful and kind and helped me move her bags, as they were quite heavy. They also upgraded our room when we returned for a night and gave us a lovely suite, since we had all the luggage to deal with. The location was impeccable, the front desk was so helpful and the overall feel for the place was incredibly charming

tiny elevator, but that is Paris, and they made up for it by being incredibly helpful with our luggage!

Very friendly and helpful staff, location is very good - just near the Louvre, river, in the very center, a lot of good restaurants and a lot of shops are located near the hotel. Metro is just near the hotel. Breakfast - hot croissants, cheese, omlet, yougurt. We like Paris and Hotel - we plan to return in this hotel again, thanks!

May be add some variaty of eggs - will be good( boild eggs, sunny eggs). Have only omlet.

We liked the Beautiful Quaint older building and our Lovely room with the Balcony. And we sat out there a few times too! The sitting room downstairs offered a relaxing spot after our whirlwind trip into Paris and going through Customs with many people and trying to figure out how to proceed...a person/Angel came around to help us! :) The hotel offered us a glass of wine and we were early to our room so we could just sit in the Sitting room for a bit and decompress. The staff were lovely and always a Welcoming Bonjour. They were helpful also giving us directions and calling up a Cab for us to take. There was always fresh coffee available in the Lobby which was So Nice too and a large umbrella to take with us in case of rain~ Our Room was also delightful and always so clean and refreshed with fresh towels and soaps and just perfect for us especially after a busy day of taking in the sites which were wonderful too! We thank you so much for your Hospitality and Grace! Truly a Delightful place and so close to shops and Awesome Restaurants!

The first night there it was noisy in the street below with music and lots of young People Partying At the Restaurant across the street until 2 or 3 am! It was hot in our room so I opened the patio door and we were on the 3rd floor but I was still a little scared that someone might climb up to our balcony!! After 2 or 3 am it quieted down but my Husband and I were both shaken up in the morning! And couldn't feel relaxed after our long trip from the United States! There were always many police car chases going on in the streets also with Sirens or Ambulances Blaring! A little disconcerting!!

Tenzim! Made the whole experience memorable and the spirit of Hotel Britannique. Full of energy and welcomed everyone to the special candlemas event with freshly made crepes.

Can hear the people outside at the bar and ambulances but other than that not too bad. Mostly very quiet. Also that old french/english man was rude (night shift). Mostly likely due to be old and lazy and not wanting yo help out the clients equally. When ask about water he said to drink from the bathroom. If he does that at his home i question hygiene.
