The location is really fantastic, and the reception staff were very friendly, in particular Shami was very helpful in finding out some details for us in regards to the Olympic Opening ceremony. Think we got lucky with one of the refurbished rooms, it was very stylish. Had a very up to date, luxurious feel with and excellently finished bathroom. Big thank you to you all lladies!! :)

The communal areas/facilities were a little tired and basic, but we think there are plans in place to upgrade this area, along with some new bedroom refurbishments. Look forward to returning and seeing those works completed.

Some very silly reviews here - it’s a lower priced hotel in a very good location in Paris so you need to set your expectations accordingly. For what we paid it was excellent - decent sized clean room and a well sized bathroom. It’s nothing spectacular but it’s all you need as a base for central Paris. Staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful

Lift is a little bit small but only an issue at the beginning when bringing bags up but even then only a very minor inconvenience

It was a memorable stay in the heart of Paris. The staff is very hospitable, polite and serving. The room is rather spacious and has almost everything you may need for your comfort rest and nights. French breakfast is very good. The location is perfect. It gives you the true sense of city vibes. You may even feel yourself a Parisian for a while. I definitely recommend this place for families and all travelers who are in love with the city.

The interior is nice but very old as well as all the furniture. The hotel needs renovation. And I guess it has already begun and localized at one of the floors. Anyway it does not introduce any discomfort. No parking area in front of the hotel. It is very inconvenient for loading your luggage while blocking the traffic at the narrow street.

Room was located near elevator which was great since traveling alone and with heavy luggage. Closely located to metro at Louve (huge shopping center) to make it easy to get to other places in Paris. Lots of shops, restaurants and sightseeing nearby. The sushi restaurant right across street from Tonic is Excellent!!

A/C didn't work very well, but was there in early May so open windows made it comfortable until I went to bed then used A/C

We requested to not have cleaning done since we had just checked in the night before. We are people that dont like others in our room when we are not there. When we returned from our excursions, we discovered that apparently, maintenance people were let into the room to hang holders for soaps, etc. There were no issues with the room that required maintenance but there were people let into our room for things that should have waited until the room was not occupied. The workers left remnants of plaster where they drilled holes for the holders on the floor as well as some hardware left on the sink top.

The apartment was right in the centre of many restaurants and so close to the Louvre. The bed was very comfortable and the staff so friendly. The hotel is old, but in a nice way - they have incorporated old building features into the rooms. I understand it is to be closed for refurbishment soon.

The room was small, but I guess that's what you get in central Paris!

Perfect location - less than 5 minute walk from the metro station Chatelet Les Halles. Great safe neighbourhood with plenty of restaurants, cafes and shopping. Of course centrally located near the Louvre, and easy walking distance to popular neighbourhoods of Saint Germain and Le Marais. We even walked to the Eiffel Tower (appx 50min - great way to explore Paris on a nice day). Reception staff were very helpful and let us check-in early, but even if your room isn’t ready early, they do offer luggage storage so you can explore the city while waiting for your room. Great value given the location!

We stayed during a Friday and Saturday night and it was very loud on the streets even with the window closed.

The hotel is located at a central location. Very convenient to major attractions. The staff here are all very friendly and helpful, especially Paula, she always stop by to say hi and proactively provide information needed.

This hotel is the best value for money you can get! Clean and decent rooms (small, but this is Paris,...) with a comfortable bed and free coffee/tea. Amazing location!! Everything is within walking distance. The hotel receptionists were very nice, with a big smile and always ready to help.

The AC was OK but not more than that, we have visit Paris on the wormest day ever with ~36 deg.

We had the family room in the attic, very spacious for a family of 4, basic but it was quirky with everything we needed. Location is amazing, just around the corner from the Louvre. We had a lovely welcome from a lovely gentleman with some welcome drinks.

Reception was a little dated, needs decorating, but did not hinder our stay in the slightest. Amazing value for money.
