The location to and from the Metro was wonderful! I took the metro (RER B—blue in color) from CDG to the Chatelet Les Halles stop, and when I stepped out, it was approximately a 3-minute walk to the hotel. The hotel is also a 5-10 minute walk to Notre Dame. There is an Italian restaurant (Casanova) down the street and a bakery (Paris Baguette). It's not necessarily the least expensive hotel, but its location and the helpfulness of the staff are wonderful! When I was in Paris last, in Mid-August, it was during an extreme heat wave. The lobby and my room had air conditioning which made made stay extremely comfortable. This will ALWAYS be my primary Hotel in Paris when I visit.

Close to bars, restaurants and Metro, plus the main line to Charles De Gaulle airport. Walking distance to Notre Dame cathedral. In a quiet street. Even though we are on the Ground Floor, we have plenty of natural light, with a fantastic skylight and lovely view onto the small courtyard. Facilities are fesh and modern. We would stay again.

Bed had 2 separate mattresses which kept separating, creating a small gap..

Bathroom was very small but was perfect for me as I travelled solo. The hotel is 3 stars so my expectations weren't super high but the room was very large for paris standards. Location was perfect. Hire bikes 2 min walk. Staff super polite and helpful. Leaving bags at the hotel was not problem. Would definately stay here again. Shope and restaurants on your doorstep.

It was difficult to control the temperature on the shower and it wasn't super strong.

The first thing that struck us about this hotel was its fantastic location. Situated right in the heart of the Paris,it made it incredibly easy for us to explore and enjoy all the central attractions, restaurants, and shops. One of the standout features of this hotel was the warm and welcoming staff. From the moment we checked in, we were greeted with genuine smiles and a level of hospitality that immediately made us feel like a valued guests. The room was both spacious and comfortable. There were also a gifts from the hotel the bottle of wine and a cute souvenir. It's these small, thoughtful touches that truly make a stay memorable and create a lasting impression. Overall, our stay at this hotel was a truly good experience. The central location, friendly staff, and spacious room. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a comfortable and convenient place to stay while exploring the Paris.

For a downtown hotel, this place was unusually quiet and we slept well. The rooms are small but you aren’t going to stay all day there, and it’s very typical for Paris. The rooms are clean and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was basically a glassed off section of the main room and may be not very comfortable for those people who prefer more bathroom privacy. The front desk staff were really helpful and very pleasant. The reception area was nicely decorated. We did not eat breakfast here. It was easy to get all the sites from here.

Although they had put a curtain up on one side of the frosted glass wall separating the bathroom from the bedroom, the bathroom situation was less then optimal.

Very nice little hotel in a fabulous location just steps from the Chatelet metro which made getting in from the Gare du Nord very easy; clean, nice room with a bathtub and lovely staff. Happy to recommend the Elixir and will be happy to go back.

No complaints and anything that needed attention was quickly addressed by staff who were great.

I was very pleased with this hotel find! Excellent location: close to les Halles, a stroll away from the Seine, les Marais, île de la Cité, main touristic and shopping areas all within walking distance. Nearest station is Chatelet, which combines all important lines. Hotel is modern, new furniture. Reception desk services fine. We did not have breakfast so can't comment on that. Room is good size for Paris. Clean at acceptable levels. Amenities were nice and there were room shoes and robes available (nice touch for this price range).

Shower area could use some scrub (some mold/stains on the corners and on tiles reduce the full potential of the nice bathroom).

Excellent location, very close to multiple metro stations, one block from Seine River and also a very convenient car park if you were driving like we were. Good value for money hotel even on the Rugby World Cup finals weekend!

As other guests have said, the glass bathroom and mirror reflection doesn't allow much privacy in the bathroom. The website seemed to indicate you could purchase drinks in the lobby but when we returned in the evening and asked to purchase a drink this wasn't possible.

Manager was GREAT!!! Room was great! Manager gave us a bottle of wine and was very helpful

Shower drain was slow but it was fixed right away!! Room was a little noisy at times but great

The property was very clean with modern features and New World art. The hotel room was clean, organized and just the right size. The staff were incredible. They helped me find my way, give me suggestions for places to go in the area and they were so kind and courteous. I am definitely coming back here.
