Clean, comfortable room one flight up from lobby with a small but efficient lift to handle luggage. Both room and bathroom were large by Paris standards. Excellent staff in lobby to handle questions. Great location, close to Metro, trains and busses. Breakfast was light with great bread. Clean, well lit dining room.

Oh what a great surprise. PFH is listed as a 3 star hotel and must be towards the upper end of this category. To have a room in Paris with space to move, plenty of storage, light airy room, and a spacious bathroom with shower/ bathtub. The staff were delightful; the hotel provided a map, transport instructions for buying a weekly ticket etc. 24 hour reception, close to restaurants etc. The website gave the room’s square metre area. I had left a very unsatisfactory hotel nearby where I’d been given a room so small I could not unpack my case; no storage space and where a prisoner would have had more room, so PFH was fantastic in contrast.

There’s just this little thing…I was in room 61 and the floor feels like it has holes just covered by the carpet, mainly in from of the closet. It kind of feels like you can fall through.

Hotel was situated within 3 minutes walk of 2 metro stations and had some good restaurants and patisseries close by for coffee and pastries. The hotel was lovely and the staff were wonderful. Very comfortable beds and pillows and our room (75) on the 7th floor even had a view of the Eiffel Tower so you could see it sparkle at night! Bathroom and shower in the room were really nice and very clean. All in all we really really enjoyed our stay at Paris France hotel!

There is nothing negative to say except that the lift was very small, but this was only down to it being an old building, so a bigger was never possible. During our stay unfortunately the call lift button on the 7th floor stopped working which was a bit of a pain but only in our last 2 days.

Location is incredible, Walking distance to all the best parts of the city, two metro stations basically on the block, amazing location, such amazing staff, will definitely be back.

Simple, compact and clean room - ideal for one person in a single bed. I think it was luck because other floors didn't have them, but my room on the 6th floor had a wonderful balcony which meant I could sit out and watch the world go by. Location was excellent - food and drink options nearby, a good Monoprix supermarket around the back, and less than 5 minutes from the well-connected Republique metro station and not much further to Arts et Metiers in the other direction. Notre Dame is perhaps half an hour walk if you want to get into the city centre on foot.

I think I shared a wall with next-door's bathroom, and they quite liked a late night and early morning slosh about which I could hear quite clearly. I didn't encounter any problems when I was there, but if it is busy then you might have a bit of a wait for the 2-person capacity lift. Perhaps request a low room if you don't like stairs.

Great location. Very safe, for Paris. Great spot for to explore Paris from as great bus and 2 metro statiins only a few steps away. The view onto the boulevard is lovely and very Parisien. I enjoyed sitting at the window. Clean bathroom. Clean rooms. Great 3* hotel. Boulangerie, Monoprix, pharmacy etc right outside. Its possible to get the metro easily everywhere from 2 metro stops, and the bus from right outside to the Louvre and many other attractions.

The noise from the road. This is pretty standard for Paris though if you have a street view expect some noise. I still slept well though even with the window open.

Staff were great. Especially the woman who was at the front desk during the day. She was helpful and kind. They stored our luggage when we arrived, when we left town for a night to tour Normandy, and when we checked out the final time, which was really helpful and convenient. Old hotel very cool. Rooms were very nice and the updated bathroom had a bathtub which my wife likes. It was in less of a touristy area (although all of Paris is touristy to some extent), but it was still bustling with people; just seemed like there were more local working Parisians. And there were lots of good cafes and restaurants nearby.

The continental breakfast was a disappointment. Very limited selection. The elevator could not accommodate two people, one regular suitcase and one carry-on sized suitcase. But it's a really old hotel so that's to be expected. Hotel was a bit pricey for what it is and for not having better amenities like a good breakfast, but hey, it's Paris!

Great location near two metro stations. Good neighbourhood. Lots of restaurants,grocery stores, pharmacies near by. Staff are very accomodating and friendly. Our room was quite spacious for Europe and we had a view the Eiffel tower. The elevator is tiny and we were on the top floor so we had a couple of short flights of stairs. This was not a problem for us. There is a heated drying rack in the bathroom which was very convenient for rinsing out clothes.

Shampoos are not the best and no lotions provided.

- the hotel was very well located to the activity I went for, and it is generally well located in the historical area in Paris, 2min walk to La Place de la République, metro stations everywhere, 20min walk to Le marai and BHV, Rue Montorgueil. - the staff super friendly and helpful. - my room was 44, spacious, overlooking the city, on 4th floor, clean with coffeemaker.

- no fridge in the room. The breakfast is limited, so I thought to buy from carrefour and keep in the fridge. However, staff advised me to use fridge in the main breakfast area which is located below ground (-1). - noisy, I could hear the cars in the street. - limited breakfast, I am gluten. But the hotel is surrounded by cafes. - one elevator very small for one person and their luggage and very slow. . I got my own hairdryer, there's one in bathroom but not that useful. - coffee provided is instant and not nespresso machine and capsules.
