Everything at the hotel was fine, except for one thing.

Upon leaving the hotel, I was given an invoice, which I signed and paid in full with my credit card. And then 2 days later all of the sudden the hotel withdrew a significant amount of money from my credit card. I tried to find out from them the reason for the withdrawal. But at certain point they stopped responding to my emails. I was extremely disappointed that the issue remained unclear. The money has never been refunded.

Breakfast was delightful! Although there was a mix-up with my order, the staff made it up to me by doubling my items and adding some of their bestsellers, which I really appreciated. Mistakes happen, but they were genuinely apologetic and showed a strong commitment to customer service. The room was impressive, featuring a transparent shower, and I could barely resist wanting to take the adorable French bulldog speaker home with me! They also surprised us with a complimentary French dessert and mocktails upon arrival, which was a lovely touch. We truly loved our stay here, and the view of the Seine was simply spectacular!

I wish there were more bakeries and food options in the immediate area. The closest bakery we found was quite overpriced, but that’s certainly not the hotel’s fault!

From the moment I arrived, the hotel’s contemporary aesthetic and attention to detail created an inviting and sophisticated atmosphere. The panoramic views from my room, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Seine and the Eiffel Tower, were simply breathtaking and made every moment feel special, whether it was watching the city light up at night or waking up to a serene sunrise. The staff were outstanding—friendly, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to ensuring my stay was perfect, from personalized recommendations to seamless service. The room itself was a masterpiece of comfort and style, with luxurious bedding, elegant furnishings, and state-of-the-art amenities that reflected the hotel’s commitment to excellence. The rooftop bar and wellness facilities added even more to the experience, providing both relaxation and indulgence in equal measure. SO/ Paris is everything I could hope for in a hotel—modern, clean, with jaw-dropping views and an atmosphere of effortless sophistication. I can’t wait to return to this exceptional retreat.

Well kept, new, and modern Staff interaction- good, except few

Few improvements can be done- very small space for BF tables, everyone including servers bumped into each other before moving; W/C had a door inside the room, very strong door-closure equipment, therefore shutting up completely- unsafe for kids- may have the fingers cut off if bangs; No desk for using laptop- only lower sizes tables in room; I had backache slouching on a small sofa and leaning to watch tv; ‘Architects choice’ I was told to keep the interiors fluid; but inside of room should be user friendly; bed height was >3.5 feet - very high for older people to climb

A nice hotel and location with everything we needed for a few days trip to Paris. Staff at breakfast and reception were particularly good and helpful. I felt it was a little bit over priced for what it offered though. It felt like a standard hotel and didn’t live up-to the price tag.

The food in the Bonnie restaurant didn’t live up-to its fabulous surroundings. Sadly the view and ambience was the only good thing about it. In fact it wasn’t good at all. The Chateaubriand was the worst I’ve ever tasted. Badly cooked and didn’t taste good. It was meant to be a sharing dish and it came with a sorry portion of green beans and fries barely enough for one. Also they tried to sit us close next to another table for two so you may as well join them. We asked for another table and the waitress was very rude about it. I noticed other people also asked to be moved from these tables. Maybe they should rethink the table layouts. The price of the meal considering how average it was far too much.

The hotel is lovely and modern with incredible views of Paris. The technology in the hotel was great with excellent TV options and apps. The room was very spacious with a lovely bathroom which had a separate bath. The roof top is brilliant. Its located very close to the heart of Le Marais. If you are wanting to stay in this area - this is an excellent option

There was nothing about the hotel that we did not like. We had a noisy neighbour playing loud music which could have been a negative but we called reception to inform them of the noise and the noise promptly ended. Well done to the staff for handling which must have been a bit of a difficult situation.

My wife and I absolutely loved this hotel.  Our four day reservation over Christmas was the first time we had stayed at the S/O Paris and from the moment we entered the very stylish lobby to check-in (with complimentary drink), we had a feeling this was going to be a very special place and we weren't mistaken. All the staff were very friendly, professional and attentive, nothing was too much trouble.  Our room had a view of the river Seine and was very quiet, comfortable and had everything you'd expect to find in a hotel of quality. Lovely touches included complimentary small but thoughtful Christmas gifts and personalised messages.  Breakfast in the restaurant was delicious with a beautifully presented and extensive choice of foods, both hot and cold.   In the evening we went up to the bar which is very smart and has a great atmosphere. Both the Restaurant and Bar offer the most amazing views of Paris and again we couldn't fault the professionalism of all the staff. The gym was very well equipped with high quality machines. The pool was unavailable during our stay so we're not able to comment on this.  This visit might have been our first but it definitely won't be our last.  A big thank you to all the team for making our stay so memorable.

The front desk and concierge was very trendily and helpful. We enjoyed the room with Paris’s rooftop as a view.

The breakfast is at the 15th floor and with an even more astonishing view of Paris - however, one caveat, the waiters and “food/coffee/the bringers” are incredibly unorganised. We had to wait very long for ordering and to get the breakfast, that has to be order from a menu (except for croissants and bread). The quality of the food served was disappointing (omelet, cheese selection, croissants and the juices was not fresh) being in France. We would definitely choose to come agin to SO/Paris, but would choose “breakfast in town” at a café.

No question that it's a stunning, modern hotel with unbelievable views of Paris from the rooftop bar, restaurant and night club. It's well located to much of the best Paris has on offer, including the more bohemian parts of the city.

The staff during the stay were very good, but my efforts to reserve a table in the restaurant for 12 people was so difficult we choose Tour d'Argent instead, who also have an amazing rooftop bar, albeit outside. The other thing that was disappointing was that housekeeping staff stored their 'tools of trade' in the hallways, even overnight when they'd finished for the day, which made it feel untidy and certainly less premium than the price.

Beautifully appointed room, tastefully decorated. Amazing view of La Marais (4th arr.) in Paris. Even though our room didn't have the view of the Eiffel Tower, we could see the Genie of Freedom at the Place de la Bastille. From the moment we stepped into the lobby, and greeted by the warm and well trained staff, we felt the vibe of the chic, modern Paris, even though we are a few minutes walk away from the most famous landmarks of Paris.
