Hotel Saint-Louis Marais was SUPERB. The design, location and service cannot be beat in Paris, particularly for the price. We have stayed in Paris on several occasions, in a range of different properties (from Airbnbs to 5 star hotels that cost €1600 a night) and this has trumped them all. Value for money at this hotel is unbelievable. We frequent Paris (as my sister lives here) and we will be staying at Hotel Saint-Louis Marais every time going forward.

It's exactly what I pictured a typical old-world Parisian hotel to look like - stylish yet really quaint & cozy with the wooden ceiling beams giving the room such character & glass doors opening onto a quiet little cobbled street with a really antique looking streetlamp - so charming! Super comfortable beds, the room had lots of storage for clothes & had a minibar with very reasonable prices. Le Marais is the most magical place - so many cute bistros, bakeries & shops to visit, very close to two metro stations (within a 3 minute walk) and we felt really safe walking around the area at night. The staff at the front desk were so helpful and pleasant. Was a truly wonderful stay, highly recommend.

Friendly, kind, and helpful staff throughout our stay; cozy room, rooftop view, quiet location in the heart of the city. Beds were comfortable. The price was a consideration for us, and this was a nice room at a good price in Paris. As is the case in many places in old-town Europe, the stairs up to the rooms are a bit off-kilter, which made it fun and quirky (our 13-year-old son loved them), but please be advised if you have mobility issues.

The room was small, but we knew that from previous reviews. I think it may have been difficult for cleaning staff to clean since it's tucked into the attic. There were some cobwebs and dust balls here and there, nothing terrible but worth noting. The breakfast was minimal and simple. Mostly pre-packaged items, and self-serve coffee (the fresh breads were good). It is in the basement which is quaint and fun, but a little tight when there are so many wonderful outdoor cafe's just steps away.

Charming and quaint property in a great location in Marais. Lots of stone and beams - warm and cozy. Easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, etc. Staff was wonderful and accomodating. Very large bathroom with a wet room setup, which took a little to get used to but it was fine. The towel warmer in the bathroom was a nice touch. Traveled with my husband and 20-something daughter in early January. We were in the large family room and it was sufficient space for us.

The continental breakfast was fine, but if you have time, you're better off going to a nearby patisserie instead.

A wonderful stay at Hôtel Saint-Louis Marais. We spent five nights — three generations together — and truly enjoyed the experience. The location is perfect, in the heart of the Marais, close to restaurants, shops, and major attractions. The staff was welcoming and helpful, allowing us to store luggage before check-in and after check-out. We especially loved our cozy, beautifully designed top-floor room, full of Parisian charm. Overall, a clean, comfortable hotel in a fantastic location. Highly recommended — we would gladly return!

The hotel is in such a great location, Marais is full of authentic cafes and restaurants plus the museums and squares. The hotel was walking distance to Notre Dame, we had a lovely visit to Shakespeare and Co, the hotel is also walking distance to the Louvre but with the metro being just at the end of the street you can get to the Louvre in minutes. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was 10/10 can’t fault it. Lovely little boulangerie and cafe just a few steps away. Very helpful staff 24/7. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at Hotel Saint-Louis again.

We enjoyed how convenient the location was in the Marais district. Walking in this historic part of town was a highlight and it was easy to walk to Oberkampf, Ile St Louis and nearby spots for other dining or activities. Our room was comfortable and quiet, except for occasional morning noise. The bathroom was newly refurbished. The bed was firm but we slept well. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Breakfast was continental so pretty basic with bread, cereals and some fruit, plus a hard boiled egg. Salami was also provided but not to our taste. Room was small for the price of €285 per night B&B.

This is an elegant, wonderful small hotel in the Marais. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and helped us with everything we needed. We had a lovely room on level 2 (accessible by a lift) which had a huge renovated stone bathroom. The hotel is in a quiet street very close to restaurants, cafes, Bastille metro and the gorgeous Place des Vosges. A generous breakfast was included in our tariff which is served in a a beautiful room downstairs. We also booked the hotel’s private transfer to the airport which was excellent value.

Great location! Staff is extremely helpful. If there are any problems, they’ll get it solved. Bathrooms are huge and modern. Shower was fantastic. Keep in mind that although listing says “air conditioning,” that doesn’t mean they have turned it on in the building. They do furnish fans.

The chairs in the room are way too large for the space. The closet space is nice but there’s is no light in the closet. No drawers in the room. Hard to find a place for 2 people to put your luggage.

The location is excellent. The room having 2 comfortable chairs, probably the best shower in a hotel we have experienced and the ambiance of the hotel made our stay very enjoyable. The manager/receptionist on the morning of our departure was extraordinarily helpful. Having booked a taxi that did not arrive due to road closures owing to the Paris marathon, he went out of his way to get us another, even walking some distance with us to ensure we found the right place. I would definitely stay here again!
