The breakfast was excellent. I had scrambled eggs every morning, plus pain au chocolate and sometimes a yogurt. The staff were all wonderful and very patient with my terrible français! The location really is ideal, as you are on 3 metro lines plus numerous bus routes, and the area of the Bastille is lively with loads of good places to eat. The Marais is only a few minutes' walk away as well, which is why I chose this location. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet - I slept wonderfully each night.

The shower pressure was amazing, but the crack in the shower door meant that often the water escaped onto the bathroom floor! Also, the closet was very tiny (about 1 foot by 3 feet) so it was fine for me as a solo traveller, but had my partner come with me we would not have had enough room.

The hotel exceeded all our expectations. I really liked the room, all the photos match the description. Both the room and the bathroom were quite spacious compared to other hotels in Paris. We had a wonderful view of the street and the roofs of Parisian houses and even the statue from the Place de la Bastille was visible! Great windows and view for a photo shoot. The location is just great, you can walk to the very center. The metro is one minute from the hotel, there are many restaurants and shops around. The hotel staff is friendly and even on New Year's Eve someone was at the reception! We liked the comfortable beds, good water pressure in the shower. We are happy with our vacation and will gladly return to this hotel.

We didn't quite understand what time the rooms are usually cleaned. We usually sleep until lunchtime on vacation and weren't always ready to leave the room in the morning for cleaning. However, the cleaning was done at our request at a time convenient for us! What a service!

Location was excellent. Close to the metro and walking distance to lots of the places of interest. Lots of great restaurants, bars and cafes on your doorstep. Very good breakfast. The room was not very big but was very well appointed and and comfortable, the bathroom and shower were very good. All the staff were extremely kind and helpful. The reception, kitchen and cleaners were excellent. We had a problem on arrival with one of the rooms and they went to great lengths to sort it out for us immediately even though we arrived late in the evening. We would definitely stay there again! The location of this property is amazing. There are numerous wonderful restaurants, shops, pharmacies, groceries, etc. within a few blocks walking distance in every direction. The metro station is within a block and has several lines at that location; for sightseeing, this is a huge bonus. Inside the rooms, it is extremely quiet despite plenty of city noise outside. This is a wonderful boutique hotel that earns all three stars and then some. The breakfast exceeded my expectations, both hot and cold food buffet items and it was kept well stocked. The staff was very helpful and accommodating, even getting us checked in hours early after a grueling travel day. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to family and friends visiting Paris.

The beds were just ok, a little hard and uncomfortable for us. Tourists should know the rooms are small, but that is typical/expected in Paris and shouldn’t be a concern.

The location of this hotel is no less than brilliant. Just in front of the Bastille Station and monument. The hotel is just off the main road hence, the noise is low and the access is great. There is a great restaurant (Bofinger) next to it, though one needs to make advance bookings. The breakfast served is pretty decent quantity and very good quality. The rooms are spacious for Paris. We stayed in another hotel in Rue Cler before this and the rooms were cramped, we changed over to this place and it was fantastic. We stayed on the 4th floor, right across the elevator and our stay was very comfortable. We will definitely stay here again, when we are back to Paris.

The Cost per night was a bit steep. Would have preferred, if it was in the range of 200Euro/night instead of 300/night.

Very clean. Super comfortable bed. We weren’t feeling well and it had a bath and great water pressure! The breakfast was so nice. I wasn’t expecting eggs but there was boiled and scrambled. Lots of choice. 16 euro pp. The location is just so so good. Loved the neighbourhood so much. Close to Gare de Lyon if you plan to catch a train to another part of France like we did.

We booked a deluxe room but the view from the window was into an internal court yard with a fire escape staircase. It was a bit disappointing at first but the pay off was that it was quiet. I think for the price/size/location - it’s great value. If you have mobility issues - request a bathroom with a shower. It’s a large step out of the bath.

It's a well kept, stylish boutique hotel in a very central location, very close to metro, my favourite Place de Vosges, central walking streets of Le Marais. The room is well sized, comfortable bed, good shower, nice decorations. the hotel has an elevator, which makes it easy and comfy get you delivered to your room after 20km of walking. The staff is welcoming and helpful. There has always been someone at the reception to assist you, even in the night. Thanks for a nice stay in Paris!

the room appeared to me a bit dark, but I guess its what happens when the windows overlook in the inner courtyard. Not a deal breaker for me though.

Very lovely breakfast, able to check in earlier than standard check-in. Location was great for access to public transportation and also for walking and buying at local bakeries.

Lack of ice availability, which is probably a uniquely American thing. Ice was kept locked in the basement and not accessible to the front desk person, for several hours until he was relieved by someone with a key. On the last full day of our stay, our room was not cleaned despite our being out all day. I had to request maid service at 4pm and the cleaner was clearly unhappy that she had to stay to clean our room, apparently past her shift.

Lovely boutique hotel in the 4th, easy walking to fabulous restaurants and win bars, Place des Vosges and shopping. The room and hotel were emmeculately clean, very comfortable bed, sensational walk-in shower, a real treat for Paris. Whilst the room is small, it was very well laid out that we had plenty of space and sensational views. Would definitely stay again. Our experience was best we have had in Paris.

The staff seemed rude, the room is small, there is actually no light in it, the windows look out on other windows, very stuffy in the room, there is no parking, you have to find it yourself, the one they suggest in the hotel - will cost you a lot of money if you came for a few nights, breakfast is weak. You don't get full and you get hungry again quickly
