Yes, the room was little, yes, there were no lifts but who cares when you in the middle of Marais, my friends stayed at the much more expensive hotel and there was no lift and much worst stairs, have your expectations right when you travel to Paris and want to stay in this location for this money. The staff was lovely and welcoming and very helpful. The rooms were very clean and beds were very comfy.

I knew from reading previous reviews that the rooms would be small and our room was...so no surprise and no disappointment at all. It was perfect for my daughter and I...the lengthe and width of 2 single beds with a little space to walk around. One issue that was somewhat unpleasant, was one if the nights, a really bad smell came up the drains from the bathroom and because the room was so small, it was very strong in the bedroom. It might have been helpful if there was an extractor fan in the bedroom to help eliminate the smell

Located close to Notre Dame and the Bastille site, and a short train journey to the Eiffel Tower. Staff were very friendly and referred to me by name or room number as I entered or left. I initially entered speaking French, but they quickly changed to English as I was speaking to slowly.

The stairs, because of the age and shape of the building, there is no elevator. I have a foot injury that still causes issues and I struggled climbing the staircase up five floors. Breakfast was strange, food was supplied, but there were no plates to eat off.

This is a great hotel for its rating (2 star). The location is brilliant, overlooking a square that has lots of excellent restaurants, but in itself it’s very good too. Our room was very clean, and was simply appointed but had everything we needed, such as kettle for tea/coffee, fan, and hairdryer. The breakfast is excellent value at €11, the staff were very polite and attentive (the reception is manned 24 hours a day), and the bed was very comfortable.

The only small downside was the noise from the square late at night if anyone is there (but often there was no one). We stayed in July, when it was hot and we needed the window open, but at a cooler time of year, this wouldn’t be an issue. But it didn’t disturb us much or in any way spoil our stay.

Super clean , the bed was comfortable and loved that the windows opened for a nice breeze . Plenty of hot water and the staff is amazing . Perfect location( Le Marais is my favorite area in Paris ) with nice cafes, and the metro close by . I would definitely stay again

I liked everything but wanted to point out certain things . I am a solo traveler, the rooms are nice but I wouldn’t want to stay with another person because the rooms are small. No elevator and I had to carry my luggage to the 4th floor but Ive stayed in other hotels/airbnbs where I did the same so I didn’t mind it. You have to leave your key when you leave but I like doing so because I didn’t have to worry about loosing the key . Things to consider before booking it .

Small and friendly hotel off Rue Saint-Antoine around Saint Paul. It's in the heart of the city within walking distance to many attractions. The hotel is clean, comfortable and the air con was very welcome this week! Ryan (sorry if I spelt it incorrectly) was warm, welcoming and very helpful on the front desk. Reasonably priced and would definitely stay again.

The most difficult part is not having a lift, but it wasn't an issue for us. Just something to be aware of if you have mobility issues.

The location is excellent-on the wonderful Marché St Catherine with bars and lovely restaurants, and one block away from Rue de Rivoli with even more .It is in the heart of the Marais with fibey boutiques and restaurants,and many places with historical significance like The Pl Vosges and Hotel Sully.Also near to the Seine and the IL. St Louis, The staff are all exceptionally helpful and friendly.The rooms are not big( as can be expected in Parisi),but it is very well and beautifully designed and have everything you need.

Amazing location, perfectly appointed room, reception desk staffed 24/7, perfectly cleaned when sign placed on door, cannot fault anything, which is especially appreciated considering this is Paris and the price point is unbeatable. We had a gorgeous room on the top floor which was a lot of climbing, but the views over place saint catherine were absolutely worth it. Really close to Notre Dame and the ile de la cite, as well as the hotel de ville and the number 1 metro is right on the doorstep. If you are looking for an affordable Parisian base of operations, this is the place to go!

We had a wonderful stay at Hôtel Pratic in Paris! The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. The location is perfect—right in the heart of the Marais, close to charming cafes, shops, and easy access to the metro. A great choice for anyone looking to enjoy the best of Paris! We loved the small boutique hotel vibe!!

We loved it! People with mobility issues may need to consider that you do walk up stairs with luggage, but we had no issue with that.

Perfect location, very nice, cosy and clean. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Small room but was more than enough for one person, very clean and comfortable bathroom. Delicious restaurants just across the street, 5 min walk to the metro station.

The only discomfort was that the hotel has no elevator, and climbing up the steep stairs to 5th floor 3-4 times a day after long walks in Paris is a bit exhausting. Lifehack : If you do not count the floors it feels much easier :)))
