The location was perfect—metro 30 steps from the door, taxi stand across the street, bus stop close, grocery stores and pharmacy on the same block, many good restaurants close. The hotel was small, clean, and charming. Breakfast was good. The best part was the staff. EVERY person we talked with was more than welcoming and accommodating. I’ve stayed in many hotels in my life, and I don’t remember any that made me feel more welcome. Thank you.

I cannot think of anything I didn’t like. The owners and staff have done everything they can to make an old building as comfortable and attractive as possible.

Really enjoyed having Le Temple De Jeanne as my home base during my week in Paris. My room was very comfortable and I appreciated the unique nature of the architecture of the hotel. The staff there was absolutely lovely and went above and beyond in trying to help me with various things. It was greatly appreciated.

The room was individual and full of character (totally different to the standard offering of the mainstream hotel groups. Location was perfect with Metro 1 50 yards outside the hotel front door. Rue Rivoli with all it's shops, restaurants, bars, coffee shops and other attractions like recently restored Notre Dame and Louvre museum in easy walking distance. We only had breakfast on last day and the staff could not do enough to satisfy our requirements. Special note all staff were friendly and could not have been more helpfull throughout our stay. Slight word of caution, we were in room on 5th floor ( 1 of 2) and the last bit was a winding stairway with narrow steps which would be a problem for those whose balance and movement is not what it used to be- for us it added to the differentness of Le Temple When we return to Paris we will definitely stay at this hotel.

The staff were very kind and extremely helpful. They upgraded us and we were able to check in earlier than expected. We arrived early in the morning, they stored our bags and brought them up to the room for us before we checked in a few hours later. The bed was extremely comfortable and the location was perfect!

My only complaints: there was a buzzing sound in the toilet hall, but once the door was closed you couldn’t hear it anymore. The towels were a bit small and the only plug for the hairdryer was in the floor. Otherwise everything was perfect! The rooms are small, but that’s expected in Paris, it was still very comfortable!

The property is so well situated in Le Marais . The Metro is right outside. It is surrounded by wonderful shops, cafés restaurants a very eclectic mix short walk to the various galleries absolutely perfectly located.

Absolutely nothing!

Located in the heart of la Marais, directly opposite to the Saint Paul station this is a charming hotel with interesting décor. Loved the bathroom. The room was very clean, comfortable with a safe and coffee machine, albeit small but then all rooms in Paris are small. The lift only goes to the 4th floor and the stairs are steep & narrow, so aim for a room on the lower floors. The room doesn't have a fridge, but you are welcome to use the kitchen fridge. Lorys in reception was extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast served in our room was really great. It's a little tricky to find the entrance which is hidden in-between 2 cafe's with red awnings.

The lift only goes to the 4th floor, so try to get a room on the lower levels.

I was in Paris for three days to attend a conference in my field of work so I chose this hotel because I could walk five minutes to the location. The single room was spacious enough for me. The bed was comfortable. I didn't have breakfast so I can't say an opinion on that. The receptionist was very nice and welcoming, he gave me a long list of recommendations of places to eat in the area I tried a few of his suggestions and was pleased.

Two things were a bit annoying to me but that's because I'm very claustrophobic: the elevator is very narrow, I don't think two people fit in it and the shower had a door that didn't open all the way.

This boutique hotel is delightful. The staff. nothing but attentive and helpful. The room full of nice amenities and cleaned daily. We were in the 2nd floor, courtyard view - the stairs are quircky (it is Paris, after all), but there is an elevator. The building is secure and the Metro is truly right outside the door. Being in the middle of the Marais we expected noisy evenings, but could not hear a thing. We didn't partake of the breakfast offering, so cannot review that. If we ever go back, we would definitely stay there again.

I cannot think of anything I would criticize - the hotel is enchanting, the staff delightful.

We loved this beautiful little hotel! We stayed here for 8 nights in October of 2022. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Paris. The staff was professional, friendly and helpful. No surprises, the room was exactly as promised and we loved it. The room and the hotel were small and cozy and full of character. Big old wooden beams and stone walls! It had everything we needed and we spent most of our hours exploring the city so a big room at a busy American style hotel was not something that we wanted anyway. The rooms are clean and fresh and pretty. The bathroom was very modern and clean. There was a good-sized closet and a small in-room safe. There is good A.C. but also, we were overjoyed to find that the windows could be opened to let in fresh air at night instead, which kept us cool and comfortable. The neighborhood is safe and quiet, and GORGEOUS. There are two really nice cafes right in front of the door of this place, both of which start serving lovely French coffee very early in the morning. There’s also a yummy boulangerie (a bakery) full of the most amazing treats and bread and quiches just outside the door of the hotel as well. Pharmacies right there, too and some small clean convenience stores. The lobby is tiny but had some very lovely tables where we could sit and get organized as needed before leaving each day. In front of the building there’s a mixed-use pedestrian street with protected bike lanes and the Metro entrance and bus stops are literally right across the street just steps away from the hotel so you are ready to go anywhere each day. Great restaurants and shops full of lovely things all around. On the weekend we were delighted to awaken to a fun flea market right there, right in front of the hotel! I hope you love your stay here as much as we did.

Room is on the small side, but that's typical in Paris. It was fine for two.
